Chapters 17. Death of Asmodeus ?

Soon, Asmodeus' large body stopped emitting smoke. As his body opened from the inside, Asmodeus's subordinates, including Clera, knelt down as they watched it happen.

A voice rang out along with the sight of his Emerald green-eyed youth figure, having pointy hair like green grass, and having absolutely no wings.

He only had a pair of towering horns, if he also had no horns then it would be certain that he looked entirely human-like.

“About once. Let's see where your snob will last.”

--

“A-what is it?!”

The figure wearing the robe pointed to the sky, a pillar-shaped flame gushed into the sky.

The rest of the city thought it was the power of Asmodeus, but only Claire wished it was ‘Skill’ meant by Dyze.

Claire had now managed to get close to the gate, although she was unable to get out because so many citizens were blocking the way and her hands and feet were still tied, she could now see out the gate.

Claire searches for Dyze, and after a while of searching, she finds him, Dyze is hundreds of meters away from the gate, but despite her long distance Claire can see her well.

Claire can also see Chronoa and Eiria hiding behind the rocks to avoid the possibility they can be seen by Asmodeus' forces hundreds of meters away from them.

But even so Claire looked worried when she saw the figure of the young man coming out of Asmodeus' body, perhaps Claire felt something that Dyze did not feel at the moment.

“Dyze.. I hope you'll be okay. The one before you right now is the true power of the demon king Asmodeus.”

The cloaked figure suddenly asked one of the residents.

“H-hey, do you think those fugitives are really dead?”

“Of course! Where there may be ordinary people who can survive from it.”

“Then did the Light Elf in question also die?”

“Itu..”

“If yes, why until now the Demon King Asmodeus did not scorch the city?”

“…”

“And, regarding the pillar of fire earlier, when it was the power of the Demon King Asmodeus, with whom did he fight? There's no way he's using his power in vain isn't it?”

That guy can't answer her. In the depths of the heart, the citizens also thought that, something strange is happening. Interrupting the conversation, there was a citizen who casually and confidently said:

“Well that's not important, the important thing is now that we're safe. If indeed the one who fought the Demon King Asmodeus were those fugitives, and he won it, then the worst-case scenario would be upon us.”

Some residents looked back, towards the source of the voice. They found a young man with white hair and blue eyes folding his hands. One of the residents asked what the young man meant.

“The Demon King Asmodeus is a monster isn't he? If there is someone who can defeat her then she is a real monster, if that person wins her, she is the ‘Monster’ in question. And he will definitely take revenge for the deeds we did.”

--

Asmodeus slowly moved his right foot forward, making a crack in the ground of his footing. Moving at a speed that could make the wind in comparison look slow before him.

Asmodeus approached, filled with anger in his eyes. It only takes one step to reach Dyze.

His steps made the ground that had been cracked earlier become shattered.

With an intense gaze full of hatred and wrath that was shown for him,

Asmodeus swung the axe at full speed.

But even though the axe was eyeing the edge of his neck, Dyze did not budge.

Unexpectedly, Dyze caught the axe with her finger, then opened her mouth and said with a smile painted on her face: 'Digilant:

“Directly leads to vital point huh? Very excited you seem. Well that should be!”

Asmodeus. An impossible sight for Asmodeus was witnessed directly by him , he would not have expected a form that had 10x the speed from before was swinging the axe at maximum speed that made the surrounding air to explode could be deflected off just like that, especially using only his two fingers.

His brain can't process all this. Amidst Asmodeus' confusion, Dyze raised her eyebrows.

“What? Just this way? .. Turns out my expectations were too high.”

Dyze's words allowed Asmodeus to regain consciousness. He regained his vengeance as an excuse for him having to defeat Dyze.

With his speed, Asmodeus kicked the axe that was on the clasp of Dyze's finger into the air far behind him.

Asmodeus swiftly kept his distance, until the moment he felt a sufficient distance he leapt high and clasped, his axe in the air.

Despite seeing his opponent running away, Dyze looked not surprised at all, he just whistled as if appreciating what Asmodeus was doing.

Asmodeus, who was in the air, clutched his axe with all his might. Preparing for a power far greater and faster than before. His thin hand muscles became enlarged like a gorilla's arm, even his palm to bleed because it was too strong to grip the handle of his axe.

Seemed strong enough, Asmodeus forcefully threw the axe, muttering something that increased the speed of the axe towards the quiet Dyze staring at him:

“Destroyed and vanished from the World. <[Asteroid Burn]>.”

The sentence triggered the size and speed of Asmodeus' axe. The axe grew to the size of an asteroid 13Meter in diameter, with a speed of almost 10,000 KM/h. Asmodeus himself was unsure of being able to escape the axe at his speed.

Very quickly, the axe was burning as it rubbed against the air. He caught a glimpse of Dyze putting a smile on his face,

Can he avoid it this time? No no, there is no way she—

— That's when her fears came true.

Dyze vanished as he winked, Asmodeus probed the surroundings quickly, which was when a massive explosion rang out.

Spontaneously he looked at the source of the sound, seen a super-large crater stretched out before him, his shrunken axe stuck there.

Just then he felt his body had been split into small pieces. But Asmodeus who was sweating coldly and gasping for breath was resuscitated by the clap on his shoulders.

“Delicious right? That's what will happen if you move this time.”

The heavy and pressing voice made Asmodeus tremble, his entire life he had never been humiliated other than by Noire.

Asmodeus wanted to move his body, but as if his instincts were resisting, Asmodeus' body became stiff and immovable.

“Well that place will be your grave.”

After saying that Dyze kicked Asmodeus' body towards the giant gaping crater at a very much different speed.

With a speed beyond reason that split the wind, Asmodeus hit the surface of the crater very hard. The blow caused the ground to explode and shatter into pieces, leaving wounds on Asmodeus' face.

And he just happened to land right next to his axe that was stuck. Dyze descended from the air and set foot on the ground. He yawned and touched his chin.

“Hmm, I'm bored. Will it end now?”

Dyze decided to end the game. He raised his right hand to the sky, instantly the sky that originally only let out rain became a lightning bolt.

The thunderous lightning was as if in Dyze's grasp, realizing his master would be in serious danger if he did nothing, Klera darted towards the crater at full speed, followed by the remaining Asmodeus troops.

Dyze realized something was coming at high speed, Dyze turned around. He saw Klera single-handedly lunging using a spear towards him. A look of hatred was embedded in his eyes, which made Dyze laugh.

“What? Want to play?”

The clera responds when her spear stabs

fended off by the sword in Dyze's left hand.

“Yes. Let me be your opponent!”

Dyze just smiled hearing his answer.

Despite using his left hand, Dyze did not seem to have any trouble fending off the attack from Klera.

Sideways puncture – parried.

Vital stab – fended off.

Side stab – parried.

Feeling that his attack was in vain, Klera screeched and kept her distance. His weapon which was originally a spear was seen melting and forming a Crossbow.

Dyze was stunned because he had never seen anything like it before. While Clera was charging, Asmodeus' army arrived behind him.

Feeling strange at the sight of their flying direction, Dyze turned to the direction where Asmodeus was lying. And he found that Asmodeus was not there. Looking around the crater, Dyze finally found Asmodeus was outside the crater right in line behind them.

Dyze's attention was divided when she heard Klera say with a smiling face.

“Toooooooo.”

The crossbow belonging to the luminous Clera, it seems that the Clera also gained additional strength from the Asmodeus army behind her.

At the same time Dyze lowered his hand towards Clera and Asmodeus' army behind him. Suddenly created a white room that seemed to lock them up.

“A-what is this!?”

Clera tried to break free but her movements seemed to be restricted by the room. The white room began to get brighter, making Klera and the people inside could not open their eyes.

But a shout left their eyes completely open.

“KLERAA!”

A pure shout filled to worry, a youth figure slightly smaller than Dyze shot towards them.

Realizing the situation, Klera said goodbye while shedding tears.

“I'm sorry Sir. I can't accompany you anymore after this.”

The hoarse and sad voice of Klera makes the atmosphere a day. The words of Clera that Asmodeus heard made him glassy.

In the last second their hands managed to touch in the room like that glass, until where—

JDAARS!

A giant lightning bolt struck them. What was left was only ashes from their bodies, the last word that came out of the mouth of Clera was: 'Abain:

“Bye. Ilove you.. Husband..”.

Asmodeus crashed into the room, before it opened and blew away the ashes inside.

Asmodeus is seen hugging the ashes of Clera. Asmodeus was shaken, his vision became as red as it was, vengeance, bloodlust, his hatred overflowing, he had never felt this kind of sensation before.
