Chapters 22. Where Everything Started

Dyze explains she has been so at home in the camp of light, but Raizel and Chloe suggest Dyze should go home for a while because surely her angels are worried about her. Despite his complaints, Dyze finally went home, sitting on the throne looking at the outside World through the window.

Dyze himself had expected that Zavist had known himself to associate with the light camp, but he did not think much of it. But that is what caused the disaster for them.

Because at one time, Dyze was asleep on his throne, he heard faint sounds calling out to him. When he woke up he saw Ariel who was kneeling trying to wake him from earlier. If it wasn't an emergency report there was no way Ariel would dare to wake her master up like this, Dyze knew that as well.

Dyze rushed towards the barrier that bound both camps with anxious feelings upon hearing Ariel's report; the (Light) fortress had been attacked by Zavist.

Regardless of Ariel's shout, Dyze flew at full speed.

From a distance Dyze can see Raizel is being captured by the God of Sealing who comes from the stronghold of darkness. Seen 4 other goddesses of the light fortress are also in the hands of Zavist.

As a last resort, they looked like they wanted to combine their strongest attacks. However, knowing that Zavist can bounce off an attack, Dyze deftly teleported in front of Zavist just as the attack was about to be reflected by him.

The situation became silent, as no one expected either of the two camps if Dyze would withstand the raw assault of the light fort. The combination attack caused a strange stir to his body, Dyze vomited blood, the first wound he had gotten after all this time.

Seeing the immortal ice belonging to the Sealing God had reached his shoulder, Dyze flicked a finger and activated one of his strongest skills; [Nirvana Fingers.]

A wave of fierce wind was created, making both camps tense and sculpting. Realizing the wave was extremely dangerous Zavist kept his distance by bringing the Shadow God, the God of Death, and the Mischief Goddess with him. While the remaining 4 gods of the darkness have hit the wave.

There was a crack, the source of the sound instantly became the center of attention, the source of the sound came from Raizel, his cheeks cracked and began to break.

Not only was Raizel a person, the entire God Goddess stronghold of light and the 4 Gods Goddess stronghold of darkness also experienced similar cracks in all parts of his body.

Dyze gazed into the light fortress, a look of anger and resentment visible in Raizel's eyes, a look of disbelief and disappointment fixed on Diana's, Argos and Eirene's faces. While Chloe only exudes sadness, it does not contain disappointment or anger.

Dyze could hear Raizel cursing at her, but her ears were so clogged that Dyze could not hear him. No, he doesn't want to remember, not be unable to.

Dyze was not so surprised when he saw Chloe in the last order and the cracks were still unable to negate it. Because according to her, Chloe used the Space Time Control Skill to slow down her time.

She sees Chloe crying, she does not understand what the tears mean, but at the last moment, she does not understand, Chloe bequeathed her Space Time Control Skill through her mind and uttered a sentence carried by the wind until Dyze could not hear it.

Right after Chloe cracked completely and became a light fragment, Zavist launched a long-range attack on Dyze. The attack was a spear made from his soul, but Ariel appeared at just the right moment, as Dyze was vomiting blood as his body suddenly became fragile.

Ariel was pierced by a spear covered in darkness on her shoulder, at the same time, a gate opened before them. Then a voice was heard declaring Dyze to be considered a traitor for killing his fellow Gods, not only was he also stamped as a Fallen God(Dewa who fell/fall).

Seeing Ariel's rift with his final command ordered the Dyze angels to form a formation one last time to protect their beloved master.

Not wanting the sacrifice of Ariel and her angels to be in vain Dyze used all his energy towards the gate. After Dyze passed through it, Dyze fell from the sky, a wormhole was created and devoured it just like that.

Dyze felt like he had fallen for a moment, but quickly recovered due to his ability. It was wrong because Dyze just didn't realize he had fallen for 13 years, which made his strength recover.

Dyze glanced at Chronoa as there was no sound from him. He was struck by Chronoa who shed his tears for no apparent reason.

“H..huh?

“K-why? L'm.. Crying because of what?”

Dyze looked uneasy to see him, he leaned Chronoa's head over his shoulder and said coldly: 'Cronoa:

“Resort. You must be tired.”

The sentence made his tears stop flowing, Chronoa looks comfortable on his back, to make him involuntarily fall asleep by himself.

Realizing Chronoa is not moving, Dyze complains but does not wake him up.

“Duh, even sleeping.”

Dyze glanced at Chronoa. He put away the hair covering his face, then he gently touched Chronoa's delicate cheeks.

“Sials.. You look more and more like him.”

After feeling enough to see the starry night, Dyze took Chronoa by carrying him to the room that had been prepared by the Wood Elves, an exclusive room. Even if it's just for last night, Dyze doesn't waste it.

And that night, Chronoa again dreamed the same thing as before.

“Ukhh.. L'm.. Where?”

He woke up under a thick black tree like before. Chronoa tried to stand up, and looked around, thinking he would see the figure flashed again.

However he was wrong, as he looked around and turned around, the figure was before him, only about 5 meters apart, he was sitting on a tree stump, under the cloudy sky.

Chronoa tried to approach the figure who was behind him. However as he blinked he only realized, the figure had turned around and looked at him.

His legs felt like they were frozen, he was unable to move them. His mouth also felt heavy to open, until when the figure spoke.

“You.. Must... Succeed.”

The words provoked him to speak, allowing him to ask her:

“What? What do you mean!?”

Chronoa asked in a high tone like a panicked person, the figure was seen smiling wryly, either because of responding to Chronoa's question, or because of his next words.

“You. Would.. Experiencing fate. With it.”

At that moment, after the sentence came out of his pale lips, the image of his body suddenly churned and formed another figure in large numbers that was very similar to him, even arguably exactly the same.

They stood beside him, forming a horizontal line. Cold sweat poured from his head, as Chronoa realized the figure was a pile of corpses in his previous dream.

They're crying. Silently they said something.
