The Fake Sin Of Fallen God

The Fake Sin Of Fallen God
chapter 4's. The Secrets of the Olward Family

"It's cool, I want to buy it. Damn, that sword is too big for me." I'll bet that's what Noa's thinking right now.

Of course, it was because this time we were at the Blacksmith Shop, a place where masterpieces of iron were on display for sale or just to be seen. This building is owned by Sven, Kenma's father who is a reliable and prestigious Iron Clever in this city.

Well, although I don't really understand what prestigious it is, but it sounds great. Where did I hear that word? Shearly said it. Damn, I feel so low that I have to follow the standards of human language.

Earlier, we went to Kenma's main house to meet with Sven. Unfortunately he was still on his way home from a town. Since he was soon to arrive, we waited for him to see the contents of this reliable Blacksmith shop.

Wait, where's the boy? It felt like he was still beside me, looking at this blue sword seriously and touching it occasionally. Really bad boy. I then walked towards Layond who was looking at some iron armor.

"Hei Layond where is the boy?"

There's no answer.

"Oi where is that kid, Layond?" ask again.

Still no answer. Layond remained engrossed in watching the armor.

"Well, I never thought that caring for a father could be overcome by ar-" I had not yet finished my words, a hand grabbed my collar and held it tightly.

"You're not underestimating me as a father, are you?" tanyanya intimidates. His aura was so strong that the people around us went away. Hee's? This man is strong enough.

“No, not really,” I replied calmly. This situation is common for me. Layond sighed softly.

“I know you're worried about him, but if you still doubt me as his father, I'll make you meet the jungle bear soon.” He began to release his grip, and spoke a little softly.

“Upper floor. He won't wander far from me.” The man then turned his back and looked back at Sven's masterpiece. He even had a close bond with his daughter. All right, I'm gonna go find that bad boy.

On the other hand Chronoa is enthusiastic.

It's great! I can go to Sven Olward, the famous Iron Man! Look at the elegant swords hanging on this wall! As expected of the most prestigious Blacksmith Shop in Elfimp city! Suddenly,

“Hei! Hey!! Wait out!! Haah ... haah .. you .. the run is very fast, I got a hard time chasing you in my own shop,” said Kenma, the child I saved a while ago. I don't know what she wants but, she's very annoying. No, wait ..he is the son of the owner of this store. Doesn't that mean I can ask him to show you the best masterpiece from Sven Olward?!

“Cih, what do you want?”

“A-ah .. nothing, I just want to continue with you! I'm sure I'll be useful to you!” he cried with burning eyes.

“Example?” ask me with a little bit of interest.

“Hmm, example ... ah! Maybe I can be your guide and show my dad my best masterpiece?” bargained for.

Bingo! I'm really smart. No, maybe he's too stupid.

“Hmm, okay. Show me.”

“Yeah, good, come on!” he said full of excitement.

He guided me to the top floor, which is the 4th floor. The higher the floor, the higher and more valuable the quality of his masterpiece, and do not forget, the less money you have.

“See, Balance Dual blade. That's his name, with the sun engraving on his right sword, and the moon engraving on his left. These two swords had their own advantages. Sun carving has the advantage in strength, but is vulnerable in speed, this part of the sword can tear hard mustard skin easily, but this part of the sword is very heavy, up to 3kg. Moon carving, has the advantage in terms of speed, because it only has a weight of 0.5kg but is weak in terms of strength. Controlling it is quite difficult, because of the difference in weight and strength," he explained at length.

Dual blade balance huh? Let's see how sensational it is.

I used this dual blade and swung it with all my might, ugh the difference in weight was quite troublesome. I then tried again by channeling 80% of the power to swing this sun-drenched sword, until its speed was stable with the light moon-carved sword. Kenma who saw this was silent and dumb.

Is this something that women rarely master?

“You interested?” ask the man.

“Hmm I don't think so, is there anything more interesting than this?”

"Sure, follow me!" yells. Now he led me to a corner of the room, where there was a torch on his wall that was questionable.

He told me to stay by his side, took the big enough torch and made his hand touch the fire. Then he put his hand on the wall next to the torch support. Arriving, the wall was open and a staircase was seen descending with a dark and cold atmosphere.

“Hey, where are we going? don't try to trick me. You still love your neck, don't you?" cold said.

“A-ah, that ... I t-do not have such intentions...! Here is the only way, to the place where my father forged and kept his best masterpiece,” the rebuttal slowly.

“Cih, okay. Guide me to his place.”

It seems that he did not intend to harm me, because my instinct did not feel any danger approaching. I believe in my instincts which are equivalent to that of a savage beast.

Switch to Dyze.

Oh my God, where is this kid?! I've been looking for him all the way to the third floor, and he hasn't met yet?! Should I head to the last floor now? No, I think I'll ask Layond first.

I went down to meet Layond on the first floor who was sitting pathetically while biting his finger and babbling something over and over again.

“My love with Noa dearly severed .. My bond with Noa dearly severed .. My bond with Noa dearly severed ... My bond with Noa dearly severed ... she was far from my reach...”.

Ugh it seems like she's unconscious again, I think now I know why Riley is being so hard on her. I also beat him up to be able to resuscitate him, of course this is also retaliation from the previous incident.

“D-Dyze...? T-this is terrible!! Noa. He's away from me! My detection sensor is not working!” terbata.

“Ugh, forget about it, let's hurry to find it! I've been looking for him from the corner of the room to the corner of the room, from the first to the third floor! Only the fourth floor I haven't checked!”

"Well, let's go there!” it seems like it is back to normal. We then immediately headed to the fourth floor to look for the damn brat.

Arriving on the fourth floor, we began to split up to look for him. Basic, where is he really...? After a long search, we again met in the corner of the room with an empty torch repellent on the wall.

"So you didn't find him?" ask Layond.

"Uhhh shit, no, I didn't see it." I'm a little sorry I didn't watch him since. Layond looks pretty restless. Sure oes. That only daughter just disappeared. He then walked over to me and held the torch.

"Ah that's him! There! He's down there! My sensors are starting to detect it" Layond exclaimed. The man pointed at the bottom outside the building.

"How do we meet him? We don't even know what room the kid is visiting" I replied.

***

Jeez .. k-coolnya. It's all Sven Olward's masterpiece, right? I really touched it, didn't I? Aaaah this must be a dream, inner Chronoa while holding his smile which would certainly be very widened if Kenma did not stand beside him. But still, his enlarged, twinkle-filled pupils could not lie.

I think he's happy with that. Very good Kenma! thought the son of a Blacksmith was good.

"Ah right! At that time my father once made a very powerful sword! Come here, I'm sure you'll-"

Swooshes...! An unknown person suddenly shot towards Chronoa quickly. He who realized it reflexes dodged and kicked the mysterious person earlier. At that moment, another unknown person slid his hand to reach Chronoa's shoulder. Realizing that Chronoa immediately jumped away from the mysterious man's hand and landed on a wooden box not far in front of him.

Right after he landed, the mysterious person who was hit by Chronoa's kick earlier grabbed the girl's right arm and pulled her firmly. Chronoa fell because of it. Quickly the unknown man held both Chronoa's arms.

But it was not enough to restrict the movement of a child from the Emilton family. Chronoa quickly twisted his body and kicked the cheek of the unknown man to break his jaw. Both of the girls hands were free again. But it didn't last long. Another unacquainted one immediately caught Chronoa quickly and restrained his entire movement.

Fucking ughh. This guy, he's so strong, that 13-year-old boy's inner.

"Kenma, what's going on? You're not under the control of that girl, are you?" A reddish-brown man suddenly approached Kenma and held her shoulders together.

"D-dad? Have you come yet?! No, I'm not manipulated at all! Then who are those people? Do they work under the Olward family? If it's true, then please stop them" Kenma said. "He .. has saved my life" he said slowly.

* * *

"That's it, so you've all saved my son's life. I am truly sorry for the unenviable actions of my subordinates before" Sven told Chronoa, Dyze, and Layond. They, along with Kenma and her mother, are gathered in a special living room owned by Sven.

Not long before, Kenma had explained to her father about the incident in the forest that nearly killed her. Chronoa, Layond and Dyze saved him.

"Of course, I have to repay you for what you did. Hey Rayford! Give each one a bag of gold lion coins! They deserve it" Sven exclaimed at the previously unknown, who turned out to be his subordinate.

"No, that's not necessary! We helped him without expecting anything" Layond said valiantly.

"I am deeply indebted to you, so accept it" Sven replied with dignity. Not long after, Rayford came up with three sizable bags of gold.

"Also, I don't think one bag of gold is enough for you, brave boy." Sven turned towards the girl with black hair who looked drowsy boredom.

"What do you mean?" ask Dyze.

"Kenma told me that this girl herself was the first one to help her back then. I think it makes sense with his ability to be quite great against Rayford" Sven replied. "Kenma also said, that you, like swords very much. So ... Kenma, give it to him!"

Chronoa, who realized he was being talked about, immediately broke his drowsiness and looked at Kenma who was holding a large and long carved wooden box.

"Ap-What? Well, I appreciate your gift, Mr. Olward," Chronoa replied, trying with great difficulty to hold a smile of joy that would be very, very, very wide open if people were not around.

However, the girl with straight hair was unable to hold her smile very well, her face slightly wrinkled, her lips twitched small, and her eyes were full of twinkle. Really easy to guess. Suddenly,

Krukk, a pitiful voice that had previously been heard in Layond's horse-drawn carriage, came back from the same source. Sven immediately turned to the direction the voice came from and chuckled.

Just incredible! The cuisine of the maids of the Olward family is heb-no, eating food when feeling hungry it tastes great. Damn, why am I enjoying my life as a human being? Damn it, I must quickly find a way to restore my life energy core to its original state.

"So, uncle, is your stomach satisfied?" noa asked as I was intending to add my lunch. Of course, after Sven heard this whimper of my stomach, he immediately ordered his maids to make us quite a large meal, and yes, I could not undo my intentions just because of the sneer of this damned girl.

"Of course not, little angel. Are you done with your lunch? I guess .. You want more," I replied as I picked up some venison.

"Uncle fool, of course I've had enough!" the answer is pretty loud. Hahahah is absolutely right, he must be very upset to hear my words. I smiled with satisfaction and continued my lunch.

"Uhh, umm, Chronoa?" ask Kenma.

"Hm?" Noa replied to him coldly.

"What about the sword? You likey?"

"... a great sword, I guess."

"True, about the sword .. You have to keep it a secret from where you got it, Miss Emilton," Sven said suddenly with a pretty serious aura. Hmm, I think this sword is more interesting than it looks.

"Oh? Why why?" ask Noa.

"Look..," said Sven who then fell silent. He signaled the maids and his troops to get out of the room. The doors around her were immediately shut. So also the window that has been covered with curtains of red cloth. Some of Sven's troops were still settling down with guns and fighting. What the hell's going on? We're surrounded?!

"What the fuck?!" my jolt immediately stood up.

"Calm down, Dyze. The Olward family is not a family that does not know itself." Layond replied calmly.

"Curtain, fine."

I don't know what Sven's gonna do but, I trust Layond. Surely!, other than the incident when the sensor was disconnected with Noa! Damn, why is he so stupid?

"Pardon his actions for my sake, alright please continue your words, Mr. Olward"

"Ah..no problem, so .. have you ever heard of ruine?" ask Sven.

"Hmm I don't think so." Layond answered. While Noa just fell silent while shaking her head slowly. Me? No, of course you are. I don't know enough about what's in this world. But it seemed, that ruine was a precious thing.

"Listen, ruine is the name of a type of mining stone that was first discovered by the dwarf race in the mining of the Laurasia Continent. This stone is considered very valuable because of its extraordinary magic energy. Some of its functions are as basic materials for war tools, rituals, potion materials, and others. The dwarves who are my ancestors, sometimes use this stone as ship fuel. Therefore, be careful. If the bandits find out the ruine on your sword, they'll be very interested" Sven explained. "Also, if the bandits find out where you're getting ruine from, chances are that Olward's family career won't continue. I entrusted the sword to you, Miss Emilton. Use it wisely."

Hm? Pretty heavy duty I guess. Can this bad boy do well? Well, her nervous and tense expression was not convincing enough.

"I, uhm .. well, I'll take care of him." Noa answered him with a hint of hesitation.

"Good," said Sven, hinting at his troops to stop their advance. Hmm pretty interesting conversation. Sven said something about the continent, right? It seems to be the name of a place. Attractively.

"Hoi Sven, you're sem-"

Bukk! Noa hit me pretty hard.

" 'Mr Sven' you stupid fool!" whispered. Huhhhhhh? What the fuck? Why can't I call him by name? Ah right, my human form is caste under Sven. Just like my caste that is under Firmament Deity. Damn it when he was just a lowly human being.

"I'm sorry, I mean, Mr Sven, what do you mean by the Laurasia Continent?" my many.

"Ah well, Dyze. The world you live in today is called Neiphr. A world of diverse landmass that has its own characteristics. They are the Continent of Stolas, Laurasia, Arbeltha, Baltika, Gionnera, and Qwentery," Layond replied representing Sven who seemed to be slightly troubled by

my stupidity about the human world. Well the hell about it, any information could be useful to restore my life energy.

“Hmm ... ancestor huh? does that mean Mr Olward is a Dwarf?” Ask Noa. It seems he is still quite curious about what Sven said earlier.

“Of course not. If that were true, I wouldn't be able to build this shop. We and our family may be forcibly employed for the kingdom, sold as slaves, or tortured to satisfy the humans,” explained Sven.

Hm? Humans are pretty interesting too, huh? They foolishly created that calamity by discriminating against the weak and committing atrocities for personal gratification. Did they never think of the return they would get? Hahahah ridiculous.

"A-ah, right." Noa answered Sven's words with some uneasiness. This topic is not good for a human child, I guess.

* * *

“Lost.” Me, Layond and his daughter stood in front of the straps that did not tie anything. Yes, we went back to the place where Layond left his quarry, after a long visit to Kenma's house.

“Abiz once. Old Sir! Is this the rope you used to carry your quarry?” noa asked while taking and observing the ropes lying just like that. Layond approached the ropes and examined them.

“Hmm right this rope is mine, and it's weird. The thieves will not take the hunted by removing the rope net. It would be troublesome because all my hunting results are dead and unable to walk. In addition ... These ropes are not at all torn or damaged. It's an illusion! Cover behind me!”

Layond jumped back and forth while taking a fight. Noa looked alert and ran towards Layond with his wooden sword. While I stood beside Layond while holding a spear that I deliberately carried to overcome unexpected attacks.

“Hihhihihi.” A woman's shrill laughter sounded from above the tree in front of us. Damn it, I felt a havoc from this voice. I have to be very careful. Don't let yourself end up here Dyze! I immediately looked for the form of the owner of the voice.

“Aaaargh! Hiks, hiks, hiks.” The voice of the crazy woman turned into a soft cry that was able to make Noa quite goosebumps. Suddenly, the wind blew, the leaves flew and washed away the cry. What is this fucking wind? My view is greatly disturbed by it.

Luckily, it didn't last long. The wind started to subside and my eyes started to look around.

“Old Pak! Wh-what is it?” With a trembling finger, Noa pointed towards ... what is it? I looked more observant and saw the skeletons of animals hunted Layond who was still neatly tied with a rope net. Wait, what the fuck? Didn't this skeleton previously not exist at all? Is this magic?

“This forest is more dangerous than I know. We have to go home now.” Layond looked a little surprised.

“But, we have not got any groceries,” reply Noa.

“Ah true. It's okay, we can buy it in the city market.”

We got back on Layond's horse-drawn carriage. The atmosphere was quite strange, different from usual. It seemed that Noa still did not expect that to happen. Also, Layond said he was going to the city market and buy groceries? Is it buying?

Ah exchange activity yes. Damn, why would I know that? The process of synchronizing with the human body feels really strange. No, it's good I think. As before, any information could be useful to restore my life energy.

“Hei layond, you still remember what Sven said about the gold lion coin, right? Are you going to use that to buy groceries at the market? Also, are there any types of coins other than gold lion coins?”

“Hm? Yeah, that's true. In the market, we use various types of coins to buy a good or service. The coins that are valid here are quite a lot. Of the ones with the smallest value are bronze bear coins, silver wolf coins, gold lion coins, platinum tiger coins, and black dragon scales coins,” explains Layond.

”So yes.” I retaliated. Layond's horses continued to walk and Noa still looked a little pale. Oh, my God, this is no fun anymore.

“Hey boy, are you still thinking about that incident? Turns out you're more timid than I imagined.” I smiled quite cynically.

“A-what?! Of course not fucking uncle! Just look, when that crazy monster comes back, I'll finish it off with my great sword.”

“Hm? Blue sword from Sven yes, you really like it turns out,” reply me.

“Ha! Sure didn't. I just kind of liked it. The wooden sword my father made was even more powerful I guess.” The naughty girl kept on blabbing while turning her face away from me. It seems his fear is starting to subside. Good though. Whahuh? I care about her? No, no. I owe him my life. I should have paid for it. Layond's train suddenly stopped. I looked around and saw a crowded place.

“Come!” Sven got down the train and started walking towards the crowd. Noa and I immediately followed the dark brown-haired man. The people do not just sell food. They also sell clothes, animal horns, some potions, rocks, herbs, jewelry, and other strange objects whose names I do not yet know.

The people who saw us looked a little surprised and whispered something to each other.

“See, isn't that the former high soldier of the kingdom, Layond Emilton? I didn't expect to see it up close.”

“Jeez, it really is Layond Emilton, the former famous warrior.”

“His ability is great! In fact, people say his chariot has a guardian spirit that will kill anyone who intends to steal its contents.”

“Huhh? Former soldier? Who is he?”

“Hei view! That's the great Mr Emilton! Jeez, I'm so lucky to see it this close!”

People keep talking about Layond. Uninspiring. What would happen if they saw this man's stupid act when he lost his daughter? maybe they will draw their own words. Noa himself seemed to be quite upset to hear the words of the people.

“Aaah unfortunately .. uhuk, uhuk!” The sound of an old woman sitting on a thick carpet between a broom seller and a magic stone seller made me a little interested. His old carpet was decorated with various shiny objects that did not know what his name was. A dangerous looking purple ball was located right in front of him. A long-tailed white cat continued to rub his head against the grandmother's arm. The blue-clothed old woman stopped coughing and stroked her old staff. What's he gonna do?

“In fact, a fly can kill a wolf who is always asleep,” he continued quite slowly. Huh uh? Whatdoes thatmean? What it means to have found a new type of fly that can

“Hahahah is it grandma, until when are you going to continue to stretch like this? You better stop!” A man whose age seemed a little older than my human age, laughed cynically at the old grandmother. Surprisingly, the grandmother just smiled as if she had released all the burdens of her life. Humans are confusing.

I ignored the grandmother and was quite surprised to learn that Noa and Layond were no longer near me. Ah dammit..
