The Fruit of the Affair

The Fruit of the Affair
Chapter 38

Andi was having breakfast with Sumi and Sisil. However, the man stirred more food on the plate, than devoured. He had no taste because he still remembered Sindi.

"Son, mom's cooking isn't good?" ask Sumi. He asked me a pleasant-nonsense question because he already knew the answer.

"Enak, Mum. Only I have no taste," replied Andi. "Mom's taste is always good, but I'm sorry, I haven't been able to eat much" she said again because she felt bad.

Sumi nodded. He turned to look at Sisil. Her daughter-in-law also looks unfeeling. "You eat a lot, Sil," said Sumi.

"Can't, Mom. My feelings right now are the same as what Mas Andi feels. I have no appetite" said Sisil, putting a spoon. He drank and then breathed. "I'm done eating" he continued.

Sumi sighed. This food though last night's menu food that is completely untouched. He heated and served as breakfast, but it turned out that the fate of this food was not good.

"Mom's food packs and divide it into the needy yes, son. If it is heated again it will be another taste," said Sumi.

Andi nodded. He stood up and walked towards the room. Sumi devoured the last two spoons on her plate, after which she stood up. As her hand held the fried chicken plate, Sisil held onto her in-laws wrist.

"Don't touch this" said Sisil.

Sumi nodded and took off the plate. His hand was directly off Sisil. The daughter-in-law immediately brought the fried chicken plate in front of her and ate it voraciously. Sumi who saw it made her think, what motive is Sisil making. In front of Andi he looks sad and weak not even appetite, but behind his son he looks ordinary, angry and his appetite is big.

"What wiry?" sisil asked Sumi who was staring at him without a blink.

Nanda was having breakfast with her husband. They shut each other up. Rudi occasionally stole a glance.

The tring!

Rudi's phone rang. The man immediately reached into his pants pocket and read a chat that turned out to be from his mother.

"Honey," he called Nanda.

"Hm." Nanda answered without staring.

"Mother, mother Rika and mbak Sifa want to have lunch with us later, in this house, can you prepare food?"

Nanda looked at Rudi. The woman knitted her eyebrows. "Tumbent kok?" tanyakanya. It is rare that his father-in-law and two brothers-in-law want to go to this house.

"You're welcome, sweetie."

Nanda nodded. "Let's get ready. Did you eat together too?" tanyakanya.

Rudi nodded.

"Yes already." Although his mind was full of questions why his in-laws and in-laws came, but he discouraged the intention to ask, choosing to get answers later in time.

After Rudi left, Nanda sat on the terrace. She was always lonely when her husband was working. If he had a child, it wouldn't be this lonely.

Nanda stroked his stomach and heaved a heavy sigh.

Sisil felt stressed to see Andi who always spent time in the glass room. He felt neglected. She is also sad to lose her child, but they should both strengthen each other even think further to have another child, but Andi instead like closing herself.

Sisil who just came out of the bathroom decided to approach her husband. Sitting on the edge of the bed and rubbing her husband's closed arms.

"Mas," he called her softly.

Andi opened her eyes.

Sisil was lying on her husband's side. Get into the man's arms.

Andi hugged Sisil tightly. His eyes immediately glazed over.

"Sindi will be sad if you see Mas as gini," said Sisil.

Andi sighed. Her tears are dripping. "Mas hasn't sincerely left, Sil. I don't feel perfect being a papa to him. Not able to be happy with him, but now he's not even with us anymore," he said.

Sisil bit his lower lip. She also felt that she was not a good mother but instead her son was gone, especially when the child claimed his life, she was gulping down pleasure with his love.

"Mas, how about we make another child as a substitute for Sindi," said Sisil as he looked up.

"Sindi will not be replaced, Sil."

"I don't mean like that, Mom. I mean, I'm pregnant again, giving birth to our child so we have another child."

Andi knew the good intentions of his wife's words. "Yes, later. For now I have no desire to do that."

Sisil nodded. She kissed her husband's lips briefly. "The sad part."

Andi nodded.

Nanda to the supermarket. He was pushing a trolley and picked up some cooking ingredients to be on his lunch menu later.

Nanda took the broccoli and put it in a trolley. When going back to walking, the lower dress is pulled.

"Mama."

Nanda looked down and found a 3-year-old boy who was a male looking at him with teary eyes.

"Mama."

The little boy again said a word that made Nanda's heart warm.

"You lost your mama?" ask Nanda while crouching.

The boy nodded.

"Auntie help find, yuk."

The boy nodded. He extended a hand. "Endong," he said.

Nanda smiled and nodded, after which he held the little boy. "Where's the break?" tanyanya pushing the trolley.

"In ana." The little boy pointed forward.

"Okay, we're going there" said Nanda.

"The coal!"

The call made the little boy in Nanda's arms look back. "Father," he said cheerfully.

Hearing that, Nanda turned around and saw a man of her husband's age walking quickly towards her.

"Father," said the little boy as he extended his hand. His smile was very wide with sparkling eyes.

"Bara, you're doing your own thing, son," said the man, taking Bara from Nanda's sling. From his tone of voice he seemed very worried. The man hugged his son, pecked his head behind him, then looked at Nanda. "Thank you, Ma'am. This is my son, Bara. I was so focused on shopping monthly, until I forgot the same child. Thanks for taking care of my son."

Nanda smiled and nodded. "Together, my mother."

"I'm Banu" said the man extending a hand.

"Mother." Nanda welcomed the man's hand.

"For my gratitude, how about I buy you lunch."

"Maybe next time, Mum. I'm shopping for lunch too. My husband wants to eat together at home."

"Eh, it's married." Banu's face flushed. Embarrassed. "Sorry, Ma'am. I guess I'm still alone."

Nanda smiled. "Alright, then excuse me first, Mas. Bye Bara." Nanda said goodbye to Banu as well as the little boy.

"Yes" replied Banu.

"Mama" said Bara stopped Nanda's intention to turn around. The woman looked at Bara with a confused look.

"Sorry, Ma'am. All the women he met must have been called Mama because he thought she was his mother. My wife died three months ago and maybe Bara hasn't forgotten her mother."

Nanda stared at Bara. He felt very sorry for the fate of the little boy. "Bye Bara" he said, after which Nanda turned and walked away.
