The gatotkaca 2050
The Arena of Archers

The fact that being the second participant to return after a mission in the first round made Karna become angry, especially after knowing that the one who defeated him was a stranger he had never known. Throughout the day he and Sengkuni investigated who Bambang Sumantri really was who had defeated him.

“This cannot be allowed, Uncle Sengkuni. I wonder, who is this Sumantri?” Karna's eyes could not be seen the streets of the capital Panchala in the form of wet soil after heavy rain from the door of his tent, which was rained down, while Sengkuni just sat down with a sly smile inside the tent filled with comfortable seating pads and fresh fruits and also meat*** the forest hunted by Karna after the mission.

“Tomorrow you will find out who he is, my son. Now, enjoy this dish first.” Sengkuni said softly, his voice hoarse yet firm.

Turning a little towards his uncle, a little nodding and then the upright man entered the dry and cool tent.

The rain that poured Panchala into the Alasjiwo forest made the land around the bivouac made by Arjuna and his entourage wet and muddy. Fortunately the Eagles design their bivouacs safe from wet soil. With little knowledge he ever got while watching adventure videos on youtube, he made a bivouac with a stage model that basically does not touch the ground.

After the rain, there was no more dry wood to be used to make campfires, but the fish in the river near the bivouac were more and more. Eagles spear some large fish, then processed so that it can be burned and eaten.

“Sadewa, can you borrow your sword?” hatch the Eagle while collecting the wet firewood.

“For what?” Sadewa pulled out his sword, then passed it to the Eagle.

“We need firewood. Your sword can dry these woods.” The eagle lit a fire on Sadewa's sword, for a moment the wood in front of him dried and lit up.

Secretly, Arjuna was amazed at the ability of the man who came from that future. The eagle who when he first saw as a person full of boasting because of the story about the absurd, today he saw a lot of abilities he had.

After dinner, they rest in peace. Arjuna is preparing for the morning game.

* * *

The sound of trumpets back up in the kingdom of Panchala, the capital square that was once quiet, began to be crowded by the participants of the competition who successfully completed the mission on the first day. While those who failed, directly returned to their respective kingdoms.

Arjuna stood in the back of the crowd, deliberately avoiding the crowd so that no one would notice him, including Karna.

“Good morning knights. Today we will see who the knight who will marry my daughter, as well as being the successor to the throne of the kingdom of Panchala in my place.”

The knights who managed to escape cheered happily.

“Today, the match will take place here, in the square of the city of Panchala. Each participant is required to shoot a moving target to be able to win this competition.” Drupada's right hand pointed to a field that had been formed as a match arena.

The haystacks arranged in such a way on the field near the square became the arena of the match. Reminds the Eagle of a place called a shooting field, a shooting game arena using bullets made of balls containing paint that will break if hit the target.

It's just that here, the target will be shot with an arrow.

After taking the lottery numbers, Arjuna got tenth, while Karna got fourth out of the fifteen remaining participants.

The other three participants before Karna mostly failed when it came to shooting moving targets.

Arjuna's turn to the arena. All eyes looked at him, because from the way he was dressed he was neither a knight nor a prince. The man who introduced himself as Bambang Sumantri became the subject of everyone's conversation because of his speed in completing the mission on the first day.

The calmness and accuracy of the Arjuna arrow thrusts all participants into him. Because he continued to watch the movements of Bambang Sumantri while squinting, he suddenly saw a hand movement when taking an arrow and installing it on the bow strings that are very familiar.

“Uncle, I know who Bambang Sumantri.” is Leaning his body to Setyaki, he whispered softly.

“Who?”

“He is Arjuna. View his movements when picking up and installing arrows.”

Sengkuni nodded slowly, on his face was a grinning smile like hiding a devious plan. “Quiet My son, it's time we will unload who he is in front of the crowd.”

Arjuna got a perfect score, from all his shots no one missed. There was a smile back on Drupada's face when he found out that the young man who yesterday made him full with respect managed to pass the second test.

Srikandi who happened to be there glanced at Arjuna, their eyes clashing again, like splashing a feeling from two separate hearts.

The journey finally ended at noon. Because there were only two participants who managed to achieve perfect scores, finally held the final match that brought together Arjuna and also his distant cousin, Karna.

The next fight is a bit difficult, as both participants are required to shoot the target precisely from a distance.

Because he got his first turn, he shot his arrow from a distance of 500 meters. The small-looking target was successfully struck by his arrow.

Arjuna retreated a hundred meters back, pushing his arrow successfully split his cousin's arrow that had first stuck there.

Not to be outdone, Karna retreated two hundred meters, pushed back his arrows, thus splitting Arjuna's arrows.

Seeing the two participants competing with their abilities, Srikandi did not want to stay silent. The beautiful woman stood in the middle of the distance between the target and the two knights who were ready to shoot. Shrugging his hair, he screamed loudly. “HAI THE KNIGHTS, I KNOW HOW TO KNOW WHO THE WINNER IS!” The atmosphere was silent for a moment. “WE TOOK OFF THE ARROWS TOGETHER. ANY OF YOU WHOSE ARROWS HIT MY ARROWS, HE'S THE WINNER!” concluded Srikandi while preparing an arrow in his bow.

After the flag was hoisted, all three arrows shot out quickly. Because the distance between Srikandi and the target was closer, his arrow hit the target first. Soon the arrows belonging to the two feuding brothers followed. One of the arrows hit the target in the middle, while the other shot down Srikandi's arrow which shifted slightly to the right of the target.

Sayup-sayup heard the sound of cheers of villagers watching long-range arrow fights, not to miss the knights who failed to go to the next round also became witnesses.

“WE HAVE THE WINNER!” The voice of King Drupada was heard. Bliss is implied in him, although he does not know who hit his daughter's arrow.
