The gatotkaca 2050

The gatotkaca 2050
The Village that Burned

The night soon changed in the morning, the sun had not shown the power of its rays. In the distance was a reddish glow, followed by a puff of black smoke with dozens of embers soaring high into space.

A black-clothed man with a head covering spurred his horse quickly after successfully setting fire to the village outside the Alasjiwo forest. Not only did it burn, but it also killed whoever the villagers were trying to fight or stop.

Gatotkaca awoke from his sleep disturbed by cries for help from a distance. His body floated in the air shortly after coming out of Semar's hut, quite high he raised his body to look for the source of the sound he heard. As soon as he saw a puff of smoke with a smoldering color, he immediately descended.

“Uncle, wake. There's a puff of smoke in the distance.” Gatotkaca tried to wake the Eagle by shaking his body.

The eagle just squirmed a little.

“Build, Uncle. Fast!” This time he shook the Eagle's body even harder.

Slowly the Eagle opened his eyes, looking around until his gaze was fixed on Gatotkaca. “Still dark, Tot. What the hell is it?” his weakness.

“There was a fire, far away there, Uncle. Looks like they need help.”

The eagle-eyed man who came from the future was surprised, because during his stay in this age he never saw any fire.

“You're not coming, Uncle?” gatotkaca again.

“Come!” The eagle then put on the shirt given by the Antarija some time ago, draping the sword on his back. Then he ran outside the hut without saying goodbye to his three teachers and Semar.

Like a bird of prey carrying prey, the heavy hand of Gatotkaca holds tightly the shoulder of the Eagle so that he does not fall. Although slightly slowing down the speed of flight, but this method is considered the most effective.

The wind that blows on the face of the Eagle makes it a little difficult to see the scenery around him, he slightly squinted his eyes so that not many winds that disturb his view. In the distance he saw black smoke with burning embers soaring high into space.

Gatotkaca lowered his speed and swooped down as soon as they reached the burning village, he released the Eagle two meters above the ground, then he landed a few meters in front of the Eagle. Hot air directly hit their faces and bodies, the houses there were almost entirely burned.

“Gatotkaca, find water source. Bring and flush water from a height!” pekik Eagles while trying to help the people who are still alive.

Not far in front of him lay some helpless bodies of the villagers who were killed for trying to dispel the people who burned their village.

Unwittingly the Eagle, some of the royal soldiers surrounded himself from behind in a position ready to capture him. They thought that the Eagle was the perpetrator of the village's arson.

The eagle only learned of their whereabouts after his back sensed a slight stab of sharp iron on his back. One of the soldiers pulled his spear from behind.

Slowly the Eagle stood up, his hands raised to the back of his head while shaking his head. “It was not me who burned, instead I came here to help extinguish the fire,” replied the Eagle firmly.

“Lying!” Without hearing the next explanation from the Eagle, the soldier who pointed his spear launched an attack to stab. But the Eagle was more sprightly, he avoided the spear thrust by rolling forward.

The eagle immediately put up the horses, preparing to receive the next attack. He could have pulled out a sword for a weapon, but he was stopped because the disheveled-haired man knew that his sword should only be used when he got a heavier opponent than him. Not an enemy that he himself doesn't know which side they're on.

An attack came from the right of the Eagle through the thrust of the spear which he immediately avoided by rewinding his body slightly, both hands are used to catch the opponent's spear and then pulled it until the owner of the spear dimbung and forward following the spear direction. So close, the Eagle immediately launched a kick right into the chest of the soldier who attacked him.

Armed with a spear that was successfully captured from his opponent, Eagle took advantage of the long range of weapons whose handles are made of flexible wood with spear eyes sharpened from bronze. Although he had never learned to use a spear during his training by his three teachers, he often saw the movements of spear warriors in some of his favorite action films.

The attack came again this time not just one, but four soldiers directly attacked the Eagle. With a single swing the Eagle turned his spear so that his enemy retreated slightly, giving room for him to prepare an attack as well as defense. Installed horses with the left foot in front, he deftly attacked an opponent who was in front of him.

His long spear was thrust beside the face of the soldier he was about to attack, but did not hit the face. Once aligned in front of his face, the Eagle swung the spear so that the wide side of the bronze spear eyes slapped his enemy's face unconscious.

The remaining three soldiers that the Eagle had to face, this time they used a defensive formation by being close to each other and ready to attack if the opponent was caught off guard.

Amidst the heat of the morning air mixed with the heat of the burning fire, the Eagle's gaze could not be separated from the three opponents who were in front of him. Once there was a move from them, the Eagle was ready to launch an attack. But without realizing it, a soldier who was kicked first by him attacked from behind by knocking a wooden block on the Eagle's back until he fainted.

Gatotkaca just returned while carrying river water in a bag made of buffalo skin, his eyes saw the body of a helpless Eagle being dragged by some royal soldiers. His emotions peaked, he immediately swooped down sharply and pounded the ground around the soldiers until they bounced.

“Si—Who are you?” said one of the soldiers with a voice trembling in fear.

The sharp gaze of Gatotkaca made the soldiers tremble, only this time they met an opponent who made some people bounce with only one blow.

“My name is Gatotkaca, my intention is to come here to help you. But why did you attack my uncle?” His voice sounded thunderous, shrinking the guts of the soldiers before him.

The body of the Eagle that had been dragged away, was immediately left behind by the soldiers. With pain from hitting objects and trees due to being hit by Gatotkaca, they hurriedly fled from that place.

Gatotkaca then moved the Eagle to a safe place, after which he poured water around the village so that the red boy who devoured most of the houses there was extinguished.

The eagle itself only woke up after the sun shone and the fire that burned the village was gone. His heart was sliced at the heartbreaking sight before him. It turns out that not a few citizens are victims committed by the arsonist.
