The gatotkaca 2050
Srikandi Tanding

Without feeling Bharatayuda has entered the tenth day, not a few soldiers and knights both from Pandawa and Kaurawa were killed on the battlefield. One of the most striking of the Pandavas was the death of Abhimanyu, the son of Arjuna, the result of his marriage to Dewi Subadra which was very tragic

The fall of Abhimanyu itself is arguably a very severe blow for the Pandavas. His head was crushed by a mace from the son of Dursasana, when he wanted to destroy the fire wheel formation owned by Kaurawa. Unwittingly by Abhimanyu, the formation turned out to be a trap for him.

Krishna again turned his brain to find a strategy to face the powerful Kaurawa in terms of defense and attack. It was all evident from the many Pandavas soldiers and knights who died in the war.

“We will face directly Resi Bisma,” cetus Kresna firmly. He could no longer allow the lives of many of his troops to be lost.

“But, Kangmas?” Arjuna protested, he disagreed with Krishna's plan to fight his beloved grandfather.

“We have no choice, Arjuna. Our troops are getting less and less, our knights have also been many who died.”

“But is there no other way but to go head-to-head with Eyeang Bisma?”

“For now, no.” Kresna. “As we know, during this time the Resi Bhishma himself became the commander of the Kaurava. The strategy they use also every day is always changing.”

Yudhishthira patted Arjuna on the shoulder, trying to strengthen his heart. “Maybe this is the best, Arjuna. How many more soldiers will be killed if the eyes of Bhishma are not stopped?”

Arjuna was silent with a sigh while calming his emotions, even though Bhishma was his grandfather, but his presence in the Kaurava camp had triggered that he was also an opponent for him and the Pandavas. “How do we fight the eyes of Bisma?”

There was a smile rising from Krishna's lips, a smile of spirit that had been lost. “Some years ago Resi Bisma once promised that he would never fight women.” Krishna walked away from his seat and approached Srikandi.

Ayu Srikandi's face looks confused with Krishna's attitude who walked up to him, then held his shoulder.

“Tomorrow, you will face the Resi Bisma. Don't hesitate, because your husband will help.”

“Hah? Me? Why should I?” Srikandi still did not understand what Krishna meant.

“A long time ago, after killing Goddess Amba, Bhishma promised not to marry and would not fight women. Then this is your chance to fight Bhishma.”

“Ta—But why me, Kangmas?” Srikandi was confused by Krishna's words.

Krishna walked back to his chair, he sat down while his eyes could not be seen staring at Srikandi. “Before Dewi Amba fell in the hands of Bhishma, he promised that Bhishma would fall in his hands.”

“Then, what does this have to do with me?” cut Srikandi.

Despite being overwhelmed by a sense of disbelief in what Krishna had said, Srikandi granted also what Krishna had commanded.

“Don't be afraid, my wife. I'll help you fight the eyes of Bisma.” Arjuna embraced his wife's shoulder, trying to give her strength and confidence.

The next morning, the drums of war had been shot. As Krishna had ordered, the troops were ready for his position. This time they used a defensive formation, all this was done because the troops belonging to the Pandavas were getting less and less.

Srikandi is ready to stand on a hilltop that is as arid as the surface of the land in the Kurusetra field. Behind him stood Arjuna who was also no less ready to help his wife, while Krishna looked at the war net from the horse-drawn carriage from a little distance from the two of them.

There was not a single arrow that was pushed by Srikandi, he waited for the moment of the emergence of the Sage Devils who were protected by the Kaurava soldiers.

The middle of the day has arrived, but the signs of the emergence of the Resi Bisma have not yet existed, this makes Krishna a little more frustrated.

The King of Dwarawati drove his horse to the defensive line to meet Bima who was there. “Bima, you come forward. Fishing line so that Bisma receipt out!” kresna said loudly.

Without waiting for the second command, Bima immediately pushed forward, he hit an army of Kaurava soldiers who were at the front. His large body did not inhibit his speed and force of attack.

The sound of the clang of the sword clashing with other sword metals or with the shield, now changed with the sound of booms and explosions coming out of the mace belonging to Bima. Every time the large weapon hit the body or head of the opponent, there was a thunderous sound followed by the destruction of the body part of the opponent.

It did not take long for Bima to overrun the Kaurava army which now looks very overwhelmed. But apparently Krishna's stratagem told Bima to come out, apparently succeeded. Bisma was lured, he came out of the defense that protected him to see what happened to his troops.

Srikandi immediately shot his arrow that pointed at Bhishma, at first he was so hesitant that the arrow he was pushing was slow. Fortunately Arjuna helped by slashing his arrows to push Srikandi's arrow so that it penetrated the body of Bhishma

Knowing there is an arrow that penetrates his skin, Bisma looking for who is able to hurt him, but how surprised he was when he knew that the person was Dewi Amba —At the end of the eyes of Bhishma, who was the only one who could hurt him, she saw Srikandi as the Goddess of Amba—.

Arjuna untied his hair and let his long hair unravel. With a handsome and delicate face and long hair, he disguised himself as a woman in order to trick the eyes of Bhishma.

An arrow shot again struck Bhishma's body and instantly lodged in her chest. There was not the slightest bit of resistance from the white-haired man who was once such a powerful knight, he was completely terrified at what he saw. The goddess Amba, who once died at his hands, now appears for revenge.

Although Bhishma himself had the knowledge of being immune to all kinds of weapons, but he had one weakness. The weapon will easily hurt him if the one who controls it is a woman. On that basis he also chose not to marry and avoid women.

This time Arjuna shot his arrow at high speed. Unmitigated, he punched five arrows at once which directly hit the chest, stomach, legs, arms and shoulders of Bhishma. Arjuna's determination was unanimous, he no longer wanted to sacrifice the Pandavas. He would rather lose the eyes of Bhishma than the lives of thousands of soldiers.

Amidst the wounds and arrows on his body, Resi Bisma tried to resist. But not by retaliating on Srikandi or Arjuna, he massacred the Pandavas who were nearby. But the more he tried to slaughter the Pandavas, the more arrows pierced his body. The wound is getting out of control again.
