CHAPTER 21 - The Unfortunate Ruby

Half an hour later the doctors and officers from the Arche Hospital have transferred Ruby to their ambulance and their payment is complete, Hazel, Amber and Mira just come along.

"All right away report." Syifa went and called someone to take care of her.

Hazel moves quickly as one of the doctors exits the IGD room, the doctor told her that Ruby needed surgery because of her head impact and the greatest possibility that Ruby would experience some impact from a head impact that resulted in brain injury, such as disruption of speech, coma, chronic headaches, and so on, convulsions and other.

Finally after 3 and a half hours the doctor came out and with an unpredictable face the doctor looked at Hazel who looked angry.

"Doctor how Ruby is doing." Hazel stands up and approaches the doctor after giving Amber to Morgan's lap.

"The operation was a success, but we can't be sure when Ruby will be aware, if in 2 days she is not aware, we can only pray that Ruby does not fall into a coma." The doctor and Hazel said instantly, she fell again, her legs weak. It was fortunate that Morgan quickly embraced it to keep Hazel from getting hit.

"Calm down.we pray that Ruby will soon realize, you must be strong Hazel, remember there is still Amber who needs you." Morgan and Hazel immediately stood up, braced herself and took a deep breath to incline herself.

"Yes you're right, I have to be strong. Amber and Ruby only have me and I have to be strong." Hazel said, Morgan is still embracing her.

"Tok, move Ruby to the room we used to use." Morgan and the doctor's orders nodded and re-entered the operating room, before long Ruby had been pushed out with many tools attached to her small body.

Hazel continues to follow Ruby and Morgan to help carry Amber and enter the lavish nursery. Even the bed is a luxurious bed that can be slept by 2 people. Hazel looked at Morgan who was nodding slowly towards Hazel.

"Don't worry, you can rest while keeping Ruby here and there is a sofa that can be made into a bed, there is a bathroom and a room as well." Morgan explains and Hazel still can't believe how luxurious this room is.

"Don't bewitch anything, focus on you and Ruby, Amber I'll take home, pity she must be so tired."

Hazel just let Morgan do as she pleases because she can't do anything right now, Morgan had already brought Amber home and Mira came into the room with 2 packets of food and some bottles of mineral water for the two of them, they haven't eaten anything since noon and it's past midnight.

"I think too much about Ruby, even Amber hasn't eaten." Lirih Hazel but Mira immediately comforts him.

"Don't worry Miss Amber, Mr. Morgan brought her home and Miss Lucia must have prepared everything. Now miss eat first to be strong to keep Ruby." Hazel nodded, she would still eat in order to have energy even though it was very difficult to swallow the food but she had to.
