Adam broke down the front door of his house.

“AYAH! MOM!” Adam Shouted.

“There's what Adam. Why did you break down the door of his house?” Irene from the kitchen.

“MOTHER, YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS.” Adam said with a fiery spirit.

“I PASSED MA'AM. I PASSED THE SPECIAL ACADEMY.”

“HAAH!?” Shouted Irene who was extremely shocked and in disbelief.

“Anything early in the morning gini already noisily.” Said Jason who just came out of the bathroom.

Adam then showed the letter he had just gotten to his parents.

“INI WELL, I PASSED THE ENTRANCE TO THE SPECIAL ACADEMY.” Adam Say.

Adam is very happy, as well as his mother (Irene) who always berTO’a for the graduation of her Son.

Irene then hugged Adam very tightly. “Selmat nak.” Irene.

Jason approached Adam and Irene, then he took the letter and read the contents of the letter.

Jason's face was very serious when reading the contents of the announcement letter, like really want no words missed.

“declares Adam Gritz PASS” a sentence piece that Jason keeps reading over and over again.

Seeing his father, Adam became a little confused, why he looked unhappy like Mom and herself.

Jason then turned to Adam with a very serious face. “Adam, are you sure you want to be a magician?” Jason.

Instantly Adam and Irene's happy faces instantly faded. “Dad?” Said Irene who was surprised to hear the words of her husband (Jason.).

“A-What does father mean?” Ask Adam back.

Jason then thrust his wounds at Adam, including his right hand that had been lost. “You know the wound father got this.” Jason began to raise his voice.

Adam was confused by what happened.

“Dad already.” Said Irene trying to calm Jason down.

“As a result you should not dream of becoming a magician.” Jason.

Jason then entered his room, which Irene followed. “Dad, wait..” Say Irene.

Adam, still shocked by what his father said, could only be silent in the living room, along with his announcement letter that had been scraped and thrown to the floor by Jason.

It was heard from the living room, Jason and Irene were chatting, but it was not very clear what they were talking about.

Adam was pensive for a few moments in the guest room. Before long Irene came out of Jason's room as if crying, which then approached Adam in the living room.

“Adam, this is your decision. If you want to continue, you have to convince your father.” Irene said with a sniffle.

Adam then pondered what had really happened. “Does this have anything to do with the assault that dad experienced?” Think Adam.

After that he tried to find an excuse to convince his father so that Adam could go to a special academy. “Do I have to tell him?” Adam is back.

But Adam immediately threw away the thought, which was possible if he told Jason, the problem would become more and more complicated.

Adam waited for Jason to come out of his room in the living room, but Jason did not come out of his room at all.

It was late afternoon, Adam took the initiative to feed his horse which was already dinner time for his horse. (Pet horse Adam is fed 2 times a day, which is morning and evening.)

Adam's horse snorted when he saw Adam bringing dry straw.

Adam's horse again snorted.

“Eat a lot well.” Adam said as he stroked the back of his horse.

But not for long.

“Crek*

There was the sound of his outer door being opened by someone, who turned out to be Jason who was going to feed his horse, but Adam had already fed him first.

Seeing his horse had been fed by Adam, Jason immediately turned his body, and wanted to go back into the house.

“Dad wait!” Adam Shouted.

Jason immediately stopped his steps. “Why?” Jason asked without staring and turned his body to Adam.

But even though Jason had stopped, Adam could not even put out the words in his mouth. It was as if his mouth was too heavy to move.

Adam and Jason stayed there for a while, and Jason stepped back in and went into the house.

“Dad I want to go to a special academy!” Adam shouted a little loudly.

Hearing that, Jason again stopped his steps, and then he turned his body to Adam.

“I don't care if dad forbid it, I will still go to the special academy and become a sorcerer.” Adam with his serious face.

Jason then, approached Adam, with an annoyed face. “Adam, you don't know anything about magic.” Jason.

“Magic is a deadly weapon that can kill people. No matter how great your magic is, because there must be people out there who don't like you, and you could have been killed by it.”

“AND AGAIN, YOU HAVE NO MAGIC TALENT!” Shouted Jason.

Hearing that, as soon as Adam's chest felt tight, he did not hurt the words out of his own father.

But Adam tried not to be consumed by his father's words, and tried to move his mouth and bring out all that Adam had thought.

“Dad I don't care what you say, but this is a once in my life opportunity to go further to achieve what I want.” Reply Adam.

“My magic is very weak and I may not be talented at all. Even my magic cannot defeat Antonio, but with my magic like this, I was instead accepted into a special academy, isn't this my destiny?” Adam continued with a slight raise of his voice.

Jason's emotions are overflowing. “Destiny? KNOW WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT DESTINY?”

Jason didn't notice that Adam was going to hurt him this hard, Jason looked Adam in the eye, this is the first time Jason has seen the seriousness of Adam's eyes.

Seeing the seriousness in Adam's eyes, Jason instantly became angry. “Adam, dad did this for your good.” Jason's tears began to grow.

And then her tears started to wet her cheeks. “You can still continue living in this village, you do not need to meet strange people who have magic beyond reason.” Jason said with a little bit of a sigh.

“Dad has some acquaintances who can make you work right away, and you can continue your life here, with your father and mother.” Jason continues.

Jason's attack, which left a deep wound, was not just a physical injury but Jason's mental one as well.

Jason didn't want his son to be as lucky as the guards killed as Jason saw him.

Adam was a little jolted, Adam was very understanding of the circumstances of his father who wanted to protect him, of which Adam was his only son.

Adam then reached out to Jason's hand, and clasped it firmly. “Dad, if you want me to live in peace, then you must allow me to proceed to the special academy and achieve what I want.” Adam said with a serious face.

“I promise, if I have managed to become a sorcerer later, I will return and live together with my father and mother here.” Adam Obviously. “I won't go anywhere anymore.”

“But, what if someone wants to harm you?” Ask Jason.

Adampun smile. “damaged me? What am I saying, but someone wants to harm me? I went to a special academy just to study.” Answer Adam.

Hearing that, Jason's mind slowly began to change. “Do you promise you just want to study there?” Ask Jason to make Adam's promise clear.

“Yes well, I just want to learn.” Answer Adam.

Jason wiped his tears with his left hand. “Alright then.” Reply Jason with a faint smile on his face.
