The Heart You Injured

The Heart You Injured
Chapters 19. Shit Carrier

"Oh my God ... Why is this all happening Mom? Why was I fooled by Angelica?"

The wood sits on the floor, leaning its head against the surface of the wall. Many times he ruffled his hair and let out a rough breath. From the look on his face it was clear that the man was frustrated.

"Mom doesn't understand Bay either ... The Angelica I know isn't like that. She was a close friend of Mom in High School. The war is so good, and I don't think he's heartbroken if he does this. But the truth is he's gonna cheat on Mom."

Not much different from Bayu, Sonya also looks so frustrated. I don't know how many times he has been kneading his temple which feels so painful. The two bad tidings he got today were heartbreaking. The woman had no desire to live in the world anymore. Everything within his grasp was detached and it would be impossible to return again.

While Dinda, the woman was also just sitting languidly on a chair made of wood. I do not know what is wrong in this family, so he and his family must feel the trials and misfortunes of life that are endless.

O Allah .. I only ask, please give me strength so that I can be strong in living all the decrees You have outlined.

Dinda relentlessly chanted prayers in her heart. The prayer he prayed to ask the Divine Rabbi for strength so that he would remain on the straight path and in the ridhoi. He believes that he is able to face and live.

Bayu got up from his sitting position on the floor. He walked towards his mother and sat on the edge of the bed. "Have you tried to find Angelica in her house? You know where Angelica lives, don't you? Did you look there? Maybe Angelica's still hiding at home!"

Bayu tried desperately to find a gap to be able to get out of the problems faced by the mother. The man questioned Angelica's residence, which he might get a way out of.

Sonya shook her head slowly. "Can't Bay .. Angelica hasn't lived in the city for a long time. He lives out of town."

Bayu was increasingly stunned and aghast half to death. Her mother's words were enough to be a small premonition that Angelica's whereabouts would be difficult to trace. Suddenly, he remembered one thing.

"Or maybe you have Angelica ID scan sent via WhatsApp? From there we might be able to find Angelica's whereabouts?"

Again, Bayu tried to ask any loopholes that might be an opportunity to find the existence of Angelica. But alas a thousand dear, the middle-aged woman again just shook her head.

"No Bay, Mother has absolutely no data of Angelica's self, including her ID card, Mother does not have."

"Jeez Ms. ... Then how can you easily trust Angelica if she doesn't dare to give any guarantees? Assurance that he is not a fraud. Even the money deposited is not money in a small nominal, you should ask for personal data owned by the mother's best friend," asked Bayu with a slightly high intonation.

"Mom doesn't know Bay either. I feel like I trust Angelica. Therefore, I feel no need to bother asking for her ID." Sonya replied in a soft voice. Apparently, the middle-aged woman was also afraid to see the water on the son's face that changed like someone who was holding back the anger.

"Or maybe, you have a letter of agreement with Angelica? A letter of agreement stating that Angelica is not a fraud and will be ready to take full responsibility if things happen that are not desirable like this?"

Sonya shook her head again. "No Bay, I don't have any covenant at all."

"Geez, so all this time Mom and Angelica were communicating in what way?"

"Mom and Angelica only communicate via chat and video call through whatsapp, Bay..."

"Oh my God..," said Bayu with a massage of his temple. "If it's like this it'll be hard to find Angelica's whereabouts, ma'am. Besides why are you so easy to trust Angelica without asking for any guarantees? Even though he is a close friend of Mother, but it does not rule out the possibility that he can deceive Mother. Especially in a difficult life like this. Anyone can turn into a bad person because of the increasingly complicated circumstances like this," continued Bayu also who from his tone sounded like someone who was heavily disappointed.

"You must not be like that Bay, where your words seem to focus all the blame on Mother, but not necessarily the situation we experience because of Mother's fault," said Sonya who did not want to be entirely blamed for what happened to her.

Bayu's head that had previously lowered, now he stood up. His gaze was also crossed with the net belongs to the mother. "If it's not Mom's fault then whose fault is it, Mom? The one involved here is Mother herself who is easily deceived by someone whom I consider to be her own best friend who in the end she becomes someone who is most willing to deceive Mother."

Sonya's gaze that was straight ahead, now she slightly shifted to the side where Dinda was. The middle-aged woman seemed to be sinisterly staring at this face of her daughter-in-law. For a few minutes Sonya looked at Dinda, then she looked back at her son. While Dinda can only narrow her eyes, do not understand what the intention implied through the gaze of the mother-in-law.

"It could be all this misfortune that befell our family because of your wife Bay. It could be your wife who is at the root of the pettiness of life we experience."

The words that were thrown from Sonya's lips, successfully made Dinda and Bayu surprised. Dinda almost made a sound to ask what the mother-in-law meant by this. But he said when the husband opened his voice first.

"Because Dinda? What does this have to do with Dinda Ma'am? Here Dinda is not involved in anything, how can you blame Dinda?" ask Bayu with a squeak on the forehead. The mother's words really made her even more clueless as to what this all meant.

Sonya turned back to Dinda. This time, a flash of hatred, anger was evident from the middle-aged woman's eyes. "It could be that your wife is the unlucky bearer for our life Bay. She's the fucking carrier's wife!"
