The Heart You Injured

The Heart You Injured
Chapter 26. The Jakarta City Hemisphere

The morning sun began to rise to the throne. Replacing the weary goddess of the night after last night's vigil. Children of golden yellow light that emanated, as if to become a new spirit for the inhabitants of the earth to start their activities. The parents of sparrows also begin to come out of the nest. Flying freely in search of food for their children.

A tall, well-built man appears to be standing on the border between the kitchen and the living room. From where he stood, he could see the figure of a woman aged approximately sixty years who was busy with his activities in the kitchen. Although the age of the woman is fairly advanced, but still looks so fit.

The sixty-year-old woman turned around after the cooking she made had matured. He was a little surprised when he saw the figure of a man standing nailed not far from his place. The woman's forehead was slightly wrinkled, astonished at what this man was actually doing.

"Den Erlan?" greet the elderly woman who immediately made the man named Erlan gasp.

Erlan blinked her eyes. "Eh, mbok Surti?"

"Den Erlan what are you doing there? Why is it so dumb? Beware, later the devil's stove!"

Erlan just chuckled softly. With steady footsteps, he walked towards the mini bar chair to then he landed his butt there.

"Mbok Surti is serious about quitting his job?"

The elderly woman named Surti, at first glance just smiled knot. Before the end, he also sat down beside Erlan.

"This stand is old Den. It's time to go back to the village to enjoy the old days of Simbok with the family. After all, Den Erlan is an adult, twenty-seven years old, so Simbok feels no need for foster guidance anymore."

There was a slight sense of tightness that filled the chest cavities belonging to Surti when saying this. Ever since Erlan was a red baby, Surti had been nurturing her. And now, after twenty-seven years had passed, it felt so hard to leave Erlan. For Surti, Erlan already considered like his own biological child.

"But, after this I have to how Mbok? Who will be with me to live in this apartment? Simbok knows for myself that I have not only been living with Mbok Surti?"

A soft look was clearly drawn on Erlan's eyes. The memory of his childhood where he was always under the care of Surti suddenly returned to spin which made the man feel heavy if he had to part with Surti. It felt like he could not afford to let this nanny go from his life.

Seeing Erlan's gaze so sad, also made Surti's heart also throbbing pain. But how else, every time there is a beginning there must be an end. Every meeting will have a farewell. And now it's time to let go of all.

"Den Erlan is big and will soon be married. After marriage, Den Erlan will no longer live alone. Someone will accompany. So Simbok think, it's time for Simbok to go back to the village."

"But Mbok, this Mbok Surti I have considered like my own mother. If Mbok Surti is no longer with me, I will definitely be lonely. Mbok Surti stays here, right? Or put it this way, I will still look for a replacement for Mbok Surti to take care of all the homework, but Simbok remains here. Want to go Mbok?"

So unfortunately with the figure of Surti, Erlan to offer a variety of ways so that this elderly woman remains nearby. He seems unwilling if he has to separate from a woman who is so he loves who can replace the position of the mother who has died.

Surti gave a slight smile on his lips. He grabbed Erlan's palm and he clasped it tightly. "Again a call to apologize Den. This time Simbok must really go home. Because Simbok wants to spend the old days of Simbok with a large family in the village. Simbok is really sorry."

A drop of clear crystal glided free from the heart frame belonging to the elderly woman. He remembered the moment Erlan was left forever by his mother since the young man was four years old. Those days of bitterness were passed by little children who did not even understand about life. Even after the mother died, the figure of the man who had the title as a father also left Erlan. Erlan's father chose to go out of town to run his business. From that day on he lived alone with Erlan.

"I asked you again, Mommy. Is Simbok really going to go home?" erlan asked to make sure while in his heart he said a prayer so that Surti would undo his intentions.

Surti nodded steadily. "True Den, Simbok will go home. But den Erlan do not worry because Simbok has been trying to find a replacement for Simbok working here. Simbok find Simbok neighbors in the village who need a job. Simbok believes whoever that person is can definitely work well here."

Surti seemed to think for a moment. He wondered what Erlan had said. He felt there was no harm if he granted Erlan's request because two weeks later the marriage of his employer will be held.

"Well Den, Simbok will return home after the wedding den Erlan finished held."

There is nothing happier for Erlan than being able to invite Surti to witness his happy day in releasing his single life. For Erlan, Surti was like a second mother where he had to be in the moments of his happy days.

"Thank you Mbok, thank you."

"The Same Den."

"Darling...!!!"

Erlan and Surti's chatter was interrupted when they heard the familiar voice of a woman in their sense of hearing. The two turned to the source of the voice and saw the figure of Jenica walking towards Erlan and also Surti who was sitting in this mini bar.

"Hi Jen's. Tumben early in the morning like this have you come here? It's usually noon, you just got to the apartment?"

Erlan welcomed Jenica with happiness. The figure of a beautiful woman with a posture that is so perfect and which will soon be her life companion. Still like a dream, finally the relationship that he has knitted with the lover for five years, will soon lead to marriage. Sometimes Erlan was still hard to believe.

Jenica who was wearing the mini dress was walking closer towards Erlan. He wrestled spoiled on Erlan's lap by draping his arm around her neck.

"I'll soon be your wife Lan, so I should get used to getting up early. Yes, a wife wakes up in the afternoon? What does the world say?"

Erlan just laughed softly at Jeni's words. This woman really looks adorable. "Hmmmm .. You can finally wake up early too Jen. I would be so happy to have a wife who always wakes up early."

"That's for sure, so I always have to get up early" said the woman with slightly blond hair. "Oh yes, today you accompany me to the spa, baby. In two weeks we're getting married, so I have to take care of my body every day. I don't want my skin to be dull by day H."

Erlan nodded her head. "Alright Jen, but after that we went to papa's house. I haven't told Papa at all about our marriage. And it's Sunday so papa's gotta be home."

"Okay, darling."

Surti stared intensely at the scene full of affection that was in front of him. His heart warmed up as he saw that Erlan had been happy with his choice.

Simbok also feel happy Den. Hopefully the presence of Jenica neng can be a way of happiness for den Erlan. From today, tomorrow and beyond. Aamiins.
