The House of Jennifer

The House of Jennifer
Jonathan's Approach to Velly

Jonathan's after Jennifer. "Wait.I'm not done yet."

Jennifer stopped and turned her body. "What?"

"I'm still mad at you." Jonathan said. "How I'm not angry, I missed a few months of your pregnancy and also her birth, now I'm like a stranger to Velly."

"I don't think you're ready to have a child." Jennifer is frustrated.

"He's there, ready or not!" snapped Jonathan.

"I didn't know you felt this way."

"Before I knew about Velly, I didn't know." Jonathan's getting rough. "But he remains Carlos' descendant, he is my responsibility and I must bear it."

Jennifer doesn't believe what Jonathan said just now, she says responsibility. While his initial confession was completely distrusted, but Jennifer did not want to argue anymore, she knew the man was overcoming his heart after knowing the results of the DNA test. Suddenly he is now a father, further complicating things.

"Bring me to my son." Jonathan commanded.

Jennifer shows Velly's whereabouts, opens the door to the room, Jonathan tells his servant to leave his son. Jonathan approached Velly, who was playing with various toys on the carpeted floor. Jonathan leaned over and lifted his son. Surprised that the rapture had arrived, Velly screamed an angry and rebellious scream asking to be taken down.

"He behaves strangely when he is uncomfortable with strangers." Jennifer tells.

An awkward Jonathan brings her closer, and that's when his crying voice explodes for release, his hand calling for Jennifer's help.

Jennifer welcomed her son's hand, and tried to calm him down. "You can be more patient, try playing with him slowly."

"My whole life, I've never played with children" Jonathan said in a flat tone. "He's always this nervous or just with me."

"Babies are more sensitive to the atmosphere of people around them" replied Jennifer. "And he also knows there's tension between us."

Jennifer started putting her baby on the carpet, getting her to play again. Jonathan watched his son carefully, it was fitting that he did not look at all like Jennifer's family, he noticed the color of his hair, the color of his eyes and his face. He only realized his daughter's resemblance to him, how he might not realize it from the beginning frustrating Jonathan. How could she not suspect Jennifer during her months of sick leave which turned out to be the holidays when her pregnancy was getting bigger and at the birth of her daughter.

Jonathan has no memory of the night together. Many times he tried to remember, but not a single piece of his memory saw the events of that night.

Jennifer picks up a picture book between her toys and presents it to Jonathan. "Read this book, it's Velly's favorite. I'll put him in the baby chair. You read it and show him the picture."

"He was always interested and calmer as I read it. He will be comfortable with the habits he knows." Jennifer tells.

With an apparent reluctance Jonathan took the book and sat down beside his son. "You get out, I don't need an audience for any of this."

Jennifer actually wanted to stay longer, she was afraid her daughter would cry and rebel back. But Jonathan is also right, he will give the two time to get to know each other. Jennifer stepped out. And there was the sound of crying as Velly watched her come out leaving her.

Jonathan begins to approach his daughter again, gives her some toys, and begins to read the story by showing the picture enthusiastically, Velly begins to calm down and stops her crying. He actually laughed when Jonathan once followed the sound of animals in the picture.

Jonathan began to venture again to lift his daughter from the infant seat and sit her in Jonathan's lap. The treatment was not rejected at all, instead he was more happy to turn the picture book around. Jonathan saw his smiling and laughing daughter, his heart was so happy, whether since when he liked children. Jonathan held her up and stood by the window, a view of the grass and some sheep.

Jonathan introduced the scene one by one until his daughter followed his finger to point enthusiastically, his daughter's laughter once rang out, upon seeing the sheep walking on the prairie. A new happiness was created in his heart, this morning he was still not ready to be a father, but now he was very proud of what happened now.

An hour had passed, Jennifer tried to listen to the voice behind the door, no sound was created there. He opened the door slowly. Jonathan lifted his finger to the lips so that Jennifer would not make a sound. Her beautiful daughter was asleep in her father's arms, so soundly as if she had known her father from birth. Jennifer smiles at the sight, somehow Jonathan can calm her son and win his heart. Jennifer took her daughter to put in bed.

"I'm so grateful you were pregnant." as the two began to step out of the room. "But she's entitled to your notice in the early days of your pregnancy."

"Maybe" replied Jennifer unconcerned.

Jonathan's face hardened. "You know it's Jenni." The man took his breath. "I have a job before dinner." Jonathan left her to his study.

Humble indeed is not Jonathan's nature, Jennifer realized sadly about it. He entered the main room to decide what clothes he would wear at dinner. Jonathan is still angry with her and rejects Jennifer's reason why she kept it a secret. Jonathan's momentary amnesia and the presence of Francisca make things even more complicated. Jennifer gives birth to her daughter without Jonathan's help, her solitude and grief are deep as she goes through months of pregnancy alone. The thought of that thought made him even more chaotic. He decided to take a nap before he attended dinner with Jonathan.
