Veila did not know what to do on this island. Lately he was too much daydreaming, even had time to be unconscious if it had been emptying his mind for hours and just looking at the blue sea that stretched in front of him.
Just as tonight, as if moved by itself, he went towards the front yard of the villa, sat on an empty brown bench, sat there and looked at the sea devoured by the darkness of night.
The sound of waves and night animals greeted his hearing, occasionally a sigh he exhaled. The island is beautiful, but the beauty is lost because he only enjoyed it himself. As if he were used to it, the night wind and darkness were like friends to him. There is no coldness in the wind, no fear of the silent night. What Veila felt was a speck of calmness. If his life could be as peaceful as the darkness of the night, maybe he could touch the word 'happy' for a while.
Veila turned her face to the left, finding the figure of Leo who had just sat next to her while carrying a thick jacket that looked warm when used.
"Not cold?" leo asked, Stale bases at the beginning are something that is ingrained for him. It would look brazen if he immediately spoke a lot without uttering a 'stale base' to melt the atmosphere.
There was no reply from Veila, but Leo was quite satisfied when the woman next to him shook her head, saying through body movements if not cold.
A few seconds silent and also looking at the darkness, Leo finally stood up, making Veila glance for a moment and think if Leo would leave. However, his conjecture is not at all precise, as if Leo is a man he cannot guess at.
Leos casually positioned themselves in front of Veila, smiled knots, and then draped the jacket he carried on Veila's shoulders. The fudge that Veila did made their two views meet, long enough, before Veila finally broke eye contact first.
Veila was quite shocked when Leo's palm was already stuck to her forehead, channeling a chill that made her whole body shiver. Leo's hand was too cold, either because of the night wind or because of something else.
Leo lowered his face, positioning his handsome face so that it could be aligned with other masterpieces of God. "You sick? Your forehead is hot." The tone sounded worried, and this was not a mere temple click. The man was really worried about the woman's condition because he remembered the incident two days ago, where they both hugged each other under heavy rain.
"Because I asked you to stand in the rain when you got a fever, Miss Amor. You'd better go inside and get some rest" said Leo, giving Veila a signal to get the woman off this wooden bench.
"I'm not sick, believe me," Veila replied with the net still locked in the ocean ahead. If he entered the villa, then the calmness of heart would be lost. Veila did not want to lose that feeling, now she needs a sense of calm to get rid of the restless feeling when she thinks about her life or events that will happen to her in the future.
Not good if you have to force Veila in, Leo immediately returned to sit next to him, followed by looking at the ocean even though all he saw was darkness.
"You better get in Miss Amor. There was nothing to see at night, only the cold from the wind. In the morning, there will be a lot of seagulls resting on the rocks, if you want you can come back again at dawn." Leo continued to persuade as he was still shrouded in worry.
While Veila felt mediocre despite the unpleasant taste that stopped by. "Darkness makes me calm. If you tell me to come in, it's the same way you make me lose my sense of calm" Veila said, giving Leo a head.
He noticed Veila's perfect side face, too bad, this woman already belonged to Wilson. However, the desire to make Veila as an outlet for the pain of love will never be left behind. The woman even though it looks sniffy on him, but always successful in making Leo feel treated. At least, the club lady tonight is not bad to approach.
"In that case, I will sit here as well and look at the ocean ahead. Yesterday you accompanied me to see the twilight, now I will accompany you to see the darkness. Mutual relations, it seems we both need each other, Miss Amor," Leo said with a big smile, his dimples coming out of hiding, makes him look more like a sweet man who never hoards sins.
Veila smiled at a glance, so thin and faint that it was difficult to be caught by empty eyes. He wanted to say it, but his words were blocked when someone from his right began to clutch his hand, forcing him to move away from the warming bench.
