The Hundred Thousand Woman

The Hundred Thousand Woman
The Part 38

We don't know who we're in love with.

Take Veila for example. Who would have thought that he had put his feelings on a man like Charlie? Naturally, Charlie is handsome and has a variety of charms to ensnare women, moreover he always treats women well. Veila whose heart he wanted to fill could not resist Charlie's presence in his life. If Veila can say something about the two new men who came into her life—Wilson and Leo, they both remind Veila of the ex-lover she once loved so much.

Leo is good Charlie, and Wilson is bad Charlie. As he had heard from his neighbors who suffered from mental disorders; one's kindness should not be swallowed up raw because most people are kind because there is a desire, not the nature of the original. It's just that Veila didn't listen too much to her neighbor's message and was instead lured into Charlie's false kindness. And for the time being, Veila actually somewhat doubted the kindness that Leo gave her.

Leo was a good man, always there for him when Wilson hurt him, he was like an angel without wings that God sent to take his wounds. However, it could be that Leo is actually a bad guy like Charlie, right? And also Wilson, the man is basically already evil yes still evil—mau as good as anything, Veila is suspicious. It felt like Veila really wanted all of this to be done quickly and she could be free. He has often been hurt, because for now he must be vigilant so that the pain he once felt does not recur for the umpteenth time. It is better to be sick at the beginning than to feel it at the end.

Wilson Alexander Hovers is a bad guy. If he suddenly behaves well, isn't that suspect?

Veila turned her head towards Wilson who was still closing her eyes. They both slept too close, with Wilson's hands locked, taking him overnight in warm hugs. Honestly speaking, Wilson's embrace did not make him sleep soundly but could not sleep. To him, it was disturbing, very. The sky is still blue, indicating if it is not too early to open your eyes, but given that their plane will leave at eight, Veila must immediately improve. Now all he has to do is get rid of Wilson's hand as slow as possible, trying not to wake the cruel man or his sharp mouth will pierce Veila's self-esteem.

Quite surprised because Veila initially thought, if Wilson's hand will be difficult to get rid of, but in reality it did not take long to release the stifling deck. He breathed back again, and a moment later, he immediately shifted his body to reach the side of the bed as quickly as possible. However, when his body had turned and he was just about to sit down, the body was dragged back, approached and hit Wilson's chest.

"It's still morning, don't get up in the morning," Wilson murmured, the special sound of waking up really burst into Veila's sense of hearing. His chest was pounding, not because there was a special feeling, but rather fear.

"I do wake up a lot in the morning, as you know," Veila replied with a dismissive sigh from Wilson's lips.

"Maureen never even woke up this early" Wilson sighed as he tightened his embrace.

Usually, early mornings like this all Wilson needs is the warmth of a hug. Especially if judging from his habit of always sleeping without wearing a pajama top—naked chest— is possible if Wilson does not want to lose something that makes him feel comfortable in the morning. Usually, Maureen was someone she always looked forward to her morning embrace.

Even sometimes Wilson often late to the office because he was lulled by the warmth his wife gave. If you want, Wilson stays at home all day in bed— with Maureen of course. However, because today the figure of the wife who had incised wounds on her heart was not there, Wilson had no alternative but to hold Veila.

Uh, after all Veila was no less warm and comfortable to embrace—an honesty that Wilson didn't want to admit, actually.

"And I'm not Maureen, so let me go" Veila said, removing Wilson's hand from her stomach.

Knowing that if this position—shortened from behind—it was possible for Veila to break away from him, Wilson swiftly moved himself to the left side, had overlapped Veila for a while, and ended up holding Veila even stronger, putting her chin on the top of her head. It's closer than the first position.

If Maureen's hair emits a cedarwood scent, Veila's hair emits a refreshing green apple scent instead. Although the actual smell of Maureen hair is better, but it cannot be denied if the aroma that is now piercing the kiss managed to make Wilson crazy—so want to eat apples.

"Hey a hundred thousand dollars, if you obey me then I will be a good man to you. So, behave like a dog who obeys his master. You always complain of pain every time you're hurt, but actually the pain you get is the result of your own disobedience" Wilson chirped, his eyes still closed with a nose that continued to inhale the scent of green apples strongly.

"Cih, turn the facts around," Veila murmured softly. What disobedience? Obviously Wilson was violent with her at all times for reasons Veila did not understand.

"What did say—" Wilson stopped as the phone in the middle of two pillows rang. Her lips pulled out a subtle crack of dislike, then immediately grabbed her phone. His eyes narrowed when he saw Maureen's name plastered real on his phone screen, and upon second thought, he had to immediately involve Maureen in his game.

"Tell Maureen if I'm still sleeping" Wilson said. Veila certainly did not want to and had a chance to shake her head, but Wilson immediately picked up the phone and placed it in Veila's right ear. Maureen's voice across there can be caught, making the salivary swallowed quite difficult and his eyes glanced at Wilson who again closed both eyes.

"Will?"

"Ah, it's me Veila," she replied, she could catch Maureen a little surprised to hear that the voice was not her husband.

"A-ah, Veila huh? Wilson, where is he?"

Veila glanced at Wilson for a moment then immediately replied, "Wilson's still asleep."

"You ... sleep together? The basket?"

Veila was a little awkward to reply to Maureen's question. However, Veila knew very well the feelings of a wife when she heard the news that her husband slept with the other person despite being part of their family as well.

Maureen was silent for longer than her first silence. Then Veila could faintly hear a small ruckus sound from across it. Is Maureen really okay with all this?

"Not to be confused. Besides, now you and Wilson are officially married. Ah, if Wilson wakes up, tell him I called him."

"He's even awake" Veila said in her heart.

And after that Veila just replied to him with a nod and said 'yes'. Feeling a little annoyed that Wilson tricked Maureen and instead told her to talk to his wife. Didn't this make Maureen feel hurt?

"See you," Maureen replied across the street.

The sound of a phone connection being cut off instantly made Wilson keep his phone away from Veila's ears, put it again between the two head pillows then open both eyes slowly. Wilson deliberately amplified his phone so that he could hear what Maureen was talking about.

"You can go now" said Wilson, letting go of his arms and turning back to Veila.

Veila immediately sat in bed, breathing a sigh of relief as Wilson did not hold her back. The woman immediately opened the curtains and windows, making Wilson curse because the coldness hit her skin. There was no choice but to pull the blanket, and shortly after, her left eye opened, seeing Veila walk into the bathroom. A thin smile etched sweetly on his lips, now Wilson felt victorious. Maureen just needs to be made aware, Wilson believes.

***

As this was her last morning on the island of xxx, after finishing the repairs, Veila immediately took herself to the front yard of the villa. He smiled as he watched the seagulls begin to gather, then immediately sat himself on the brown bench that was right behind him. Unfortunately, he did not have a mobile phone to capture the charming birds. The only phone disappeared somewhere, when he woke up from his stupor at that time, he never saw his sophisticated object.

Veila gasped when she felt that someone's hand was tucking her long hair behind her ear, making Veila turn and find Leo who was now putting something in her ear. The man smiled after successfully tucking the flower in Veila's right ear.

"You're beautiful, Miss Amor. I don't think I'm wrong to steal a flower in front of you to tuck it in your ear" said Leo with eyes that didn't escape Veila's face.

Seeing Veila who was silent and did not reply to his words, Leo chuckled softly and immediately sat down beside Veila. "Why? You should've said thank you for praising you, right?" leo asked, looking over and smiling.

"Then, thank you for the compliment," Veila replied awkwardly. Veila was embarrassed because Leo praised her in the morning like this.

Leo who could not take his eyes off Veila also opened his voice. "Is there something wrong with my words? Oh, aren't you used to receiving compliments and feeling uneasy about what I said?"

Hearing Leo's words, Veila immediately shook her head. "I've never been praised by anyone other than my mother, so I feel very awkward when you compliment me" she said. Even her ex never said she was beautiful. It could be said that Leo was the first.

"really?" Leo's eyes look sparkling. He was very excited to be the first. It's weird for Leo, but it feels too hard to distance yourself from things like this. He likes to be the first.

Veila nodded for a moment. "Yes. You're the first—" Veila's words came to a halt as a burly hand pulled her chin, looking down at her face to see someone who seemed to want to be seen as well.

"You're beautiful, beautiful, and beautiful, even without this flower even if you're still pretty."

It was Wilson Alexander Hovers, with the lips that passed the unexpected sentence and also the hand that threw the Leo flower from Veila's ear. The woman had no idea since when Wilson had been sitting next to her.

After being satisfied to look at Veila's face and kick the flowers that he had thrown into the grass, his gaze was now turned towards Leo. For a while they looked at each other, before Wilson finally said.

"Why is it still here? Don't you have to heat the car?" Questions that really make Leo floated his fake smile, upset because Wilson who always ruled him in moments like this. Leo nodded, then immediately left, deliberately taking his step because he was not willing to let it all end just like that. You Wilson, you can't guess!

Wilson Alexander Hovers' main goal was ; first, make Maureen return to him. Second, make Leo always behind him. And the third, has offspring. If all of his goals are achieved, Wilson believes he will be the happiest man in the world.

Veila Amor is not on Wilson's list of top goals.
