The Hundred Thousand Woman

The Hundred Thousand Woman
Part 5's

Veila didn't order coffee, but why did God give her americano?

Born with no idea who his father was, left forever by his mother when he still needed a backrest, treated harshly by his stepfather, tricked by Charlie's love of jerkiness, until finally he was trapped in this luxurious house and soon 'will' become a printer of the descendants of the Hovers family. Why americano? Why not something a little sweeter, some kind of macchiato? Oh God, Veila's fed up with her life.

Once, in one day, where at that time he had not been met with a handsome man, but the heart of the devil—Charlie—himself had thought of ending life by plunging into the river. Just say he was about to jump off a bridge to submerge himself into the bottom of a cold, rippling river. He thought that way because he was really fed up with his life. Especially when he just finished SHS, was in unstable times.

His stepfather was completely useless. No, Veila did not at all mean that her stepfather was someone who did not deserve to be given life, but she said that because indeed the nature of her stepfather really describes a futile life. Supposedly, since her mother died, the father should take full responsibility for Veila, such as taking care of her, taking good care of her, and giving her the cost of living. Even if only given a plate of rice in a day, Veila was already very grateful.

However, there, his stepfather even more acting late. Slapping, thumping, pulling, Veila's life is completely filled with physical violence as well as blackmail. If you can, Veila wants to turn back the clock and not allow her mother to marry her stepfather. But that is how life is. Scenario is unpredictable because what we do is a reply to life choices. Yes, we live surrounded by choices and urged by decisions. Therefore, every human being must be careful in making decisions and circling his life scenario because it will certainly affect in the future.

Like Veila, he was wrong in making the choice. Uh, not wrong, he's just wrong. He just wanted to see his mother happy by holding a life partner, but the choice of mother and herself was completely wrong. The stepfather, is not a superhero who is too good. His stepfather was a monster hidden behind a mask of his false hospitality. Just like Charlie, the devil who hides behind the angel mask.

Veila looked back at the ten contract points listed on the stamped paper. Why is his life story like a fictional world created by best-seller novel writers? Look, even if Veila was born as one of the novel characters whose life is destitute, then she will beg the author to give a piece of happiness in her life—like a love story that ends happy ending.

For his entire life, it was the first time his heart was racing as their gazes looked at each other. However, it was a pity that the man was just playing with his feelings, making him stop to fall in love and not be fooled by the handsome face.

The visuals can be said to be good, very good in fact, but it does not necessarily affect its nature. Who knows its nature is opposite to the visual, now Veila thinks like that.

A handsome person is not necessarily his heart is also handsome, as is a person with a mediocre look who is not necessarily his heart says the same as the visual.

Once, before going to bed and only armed with lighting from a candle, his mother always told a fairy tale. Without books, his mother has been poulted with hereditary stories that will always be remembered and watched by young children. Snow white, little mermaid, Cinderella, up to Beauty and The Beast her mother had told her about.

Veila is happy and says if big someday he wants his life story like one of the fairy tales, meet the prince and end happy ending.

However, reality? He is framed by a man he already considers his own prince, leading him into an increasingly difficult lifehole, causing Veila to be utterly frustrated.

Not wanting to put too much hope into this bitter life, all Veila wanted was one, which was a little happiness. At least Veila just wanted to laugh carelessly, continue to live casually, and die in peace. But apparently, he will never get happiness again because of this crazy contract.

As the rain stopped, the door to his room opened. Veila turned her head, finding a man in a black suit formally walking over. It wasn't the guy who gave the contract, but the other guy with the light brown hair. Before stopping right behind Veila, the man had first placed the paper bag branded on the King-size mattress.

"Prepare, in an hour you'll have to go with Wilson to his parents' house." Leo, the man opens his voice, sees Veila at a glance and waits for the poor woman's reply.

A little surprised, Veila asked without seeing Leo. "For what?" Short questions that make Leo answer quickly.

"Introducing you to his parents."

That was Leo's answer, successfully making Veila think hard. Why did the hereditary printing machine seem to be introduced to the Hovers family?

"Wait, I don't understand what you're saying. Introduce me to her parents? For what reason? I don't think I have anything to do with it." Veila's successful questions were raised with her head now fixed and her eyes locked on Leo completely.

"Wilson hasn't said it yet? Or are you pretending to be stupid in front of me? Aren't you two getting married?" leo asked, now it was his turn to be confused. This woman should have known about Wilson's plan. Ah, Leo guess, Wilson Alexander Hovers is reluctant to say that because he feels heavy with this unwanted marriage. Naturally, Wilson Hover loved Maureen Cruz more than anything else, so Wilson did not dare to say the word 'married' until this moment. He can't really beat up Maureen.

Veila's eyes grew perfectly. Both eyes almost came out of his eyes. Shocked by Leo's words that he could not fully believe. If you have to get married, why isn't it on the contract?

"Don't lie. I didn't find that word at all in his contract," hiss Veila still didn't trust Leo.

Hearing that, Leo sighed for a moment. Veila did not believe his words because Wilson did not include them in the contract points.

"I'm Wilson's accomplice, how could I lie? If you lie, what's in it for me?" cerca Leo and Veila instantly fell silent.

True, what good is Leo doing a lie in broad daylight like this? After all, lying will not add to his income.

Leo raised his right hand, glancing at his watch at a glance. It was three past ten minutes, Veila must immediately prepare if she does not want to be scolded by Wilson because of his discipline.

"Hurry and clean yourself and change your clothes. One of the waiters will help make your appearance later." That was Leo's last sentence before Veila was left alone in this spacious room.
