The Hundred Thousand Woman

The Hundred Thousand Woman
The Part 52

The sound of the car horn made Veila slightly flinch and immediately raised her head. In the last few hours she had been daydreaming a lot, her mind floating around, imagining what would happen if Wilson knew about her pregnancy. No, it wasn't Veila's intention to keep this news alone, just that she wasn't too ready to say that to Wilson and Maureen.

Veila had known for a long time about Maureen not being able to give children to the Hovers family because of problems in her womb, making Veila feel bad to say that she was now pregnant with her son Wilson. Too diabolical? That's what Veila thought if this news he delivered in a quick and sudden time. Moreover, there was one thing that he was afraid of when he had said about the great news.

he was afraid Wilson would scold him. Like, like Veila who can't keep Maureen's feelings. In fact, if Veila thought further, then she would remember the point of agreement that made them both involved in a marriage, namely children.

The car horn sounded once again, this time longer than the first, making Veila immediately reach for her small sling bag which she accidentally placed on the porch seat of the house, draping it on the right shoulder, and holding it on the right shoulder, and then rushed towards the familiar black car, Leo's car.

This morning, Leo did whisper about the appointment time to go to the hospital to check on her pregnancy. At one o'clock in the afternoon, after lunchtime is over, that's the time Leo promised. And now, the man came a little earlier, twenty minutes ahead of the appointment time. While Veila, the woman was deliberately waiting in front of the porch of the house first of the appointment so that Leo did not have to bother waiting for him.

Veila got into the car quickly, without even turning to the driver's seat she thought Leo was there, because Leo was a kind man who always spoke meekly to women, ignoring Leo is one thing Veila doesn't need to worry about.

After all, the man was often himself ignored, because Veila had absolutely no good things to tell, her life was too bad to tell. It would be a shame if he told her the bitterness that had been on him. Let only him keep all the wounds, do not need to involve others because they are not necessarily a cure for all or part of his life wounds.

But amazingly, she had always been a weak woman in front of Leo. The man often saw Veila's sadness through tears that escaped from the dam of the eye pelukur.

"Oh yes Leo, if you get to the hospital later, you—" Veila's words automatically stopped when her head was pulled to the side right into the steering chair.

Seeing who was driving now actually managed to make his eyes grow bigger and his mouth immediately closed tightly. The car horn should be rung loudly, because the man who was driving this is the figure of her own husband, Wilson Alexander Hovers.

"What do you want to say? Quickly continue!" Wilson's jolt when he realized that the words Veila uttered stopped automatically, deliberately hung up and made Wilson cursed in the heart.

Wilson's true touch with a push was forced to make Veila shake her head, there was no intention to continue because the man in the steering wheel was not Leo, the person she trusted.

As a matter of fact, Veila's trinket really pissed Wilson off. He has started a small fight with Leo in the office, putting his entire job on Leo - from checking documents to attending closed-door meetings with office employees, he also robs Leo's car outright and leaves just before lunchtime when Leo's appointment with Veila is known.

To be honest, he was still confused with himself. He made Veila as one of the characters in the life game he made, he said, creating this game after thinking about it carefully with the aim to win Maureen's heart from Leo back. Do not want to put a little feeling as the life of the character in the game he made.

But now, why does he look like he has put feelings in his game? la is not angry because Leo is the lucky guy who won a lot over the possession of two women—Veila and Maureen, but Wilson feels he is angry because of jealousy?

However, was it true that he was jealous when his heart was still filled with the figure of Maureen?

"You even refused my favor to bring Dr. Robert home so he could check on you. And now, you've accepted Leo's invitation to go to the hospital. Hey, who's your wife? Leo or me?" Wilson again jolted Veila, no stronger than before, his tone deliberately lowered a little so as not to make the woman fear him and ended in a sickening silence.

"Of course I'm your wife, it's just that now the context is different. I received Leo's offer because—"

There was no gap for Veila to continue her words because Wilson— as usual interrupted the sentence the woman said.

"Why are you so mad at me? Isn't it in the original agreement if we marry only for your son's status?" The question that Veila had just successfully made Wilson checkmate, not knowing what kind of sentence to reply again. Like a game of chess, his only remaining aim was a king that could be eaten at any time.

Instantly, Wilson cleared his throat after taking a sip of his saliva several times. "So the point is, do you like Leo?" he asked, his tone had returned to normal, not snapping or becoming higher.

Veila sighed for a moment, wanting to say no, but her tongue sprained again and so said the word 'yes' that made Leo's car that Wilson was driving stopped running.

"You—"

Wilson growled to a halt, looking at Veila through the tail of his eyes for not daring to stare directly.

"It's okay, if you want to drop me off halfway like you normally do. I'm going down now and I'm going to take a taxi to the hospital myself. As long as I still have two legs and can walk well, why ask a tempramental like you to accompany me?" veila was a big surprise for Wilson.

Wilson thought it was a threat because like previous events, Veila didn't like it when someone dropped her off in the middle of the street. Therefore, when the sentence was finished escaping from Veila's lips, all Wilson did was laugh at the woman's words, deliberately giving a trivial through a sickening laugh that was typical of hers.

However, who would have thought that Veila would actually get out of Leo's car, leaving the man who was still gawking in disbelief inside there alone? Of course, it even made Wilson curse and finally came out, intending to drag Veila into the car again.

'Good little to Veila if you don't want me to take it.' The words that Leo made as they debated came back to light as Wilson's hand grabbed the woman's arm.

Leo Zhang is a man who can break Wilson's heart through his words, as if he knows what his boss's weaknesses are now. And Wilson, he was really cursing himself for being so deeply involved in this game of feeling.

"Don't make things harder and longer! You think I'm just living and breathing to take care of you? Quickly go back in now!" furious Wilson, pulled Veila's arm with the element of coercion, but not as rough as usual.

However, the actions that Veila did instead made Wilson stunned in disbelief. The woman, courageously brushed Wilson's hand away, removed the man's hand from the area of his arm, and then, she was surprised at her own actions just now.

Wilson was angry and Veila even made the emotion even more so. Suddenly fear attacked, not wanting if Wilson slapped him and even roughed him up because of his reflex actions.

However, what Wilson did was actually approach and lift—ah no, what Wilson did now more can be said to be a sling, with his leisure, the man carried Veila, brought her back into the car, he said, making his actions as a comfort drama in broad daylight when the streets are jammed.

This made Veila freeze and unable to say or do anything. The man bravely held Veila in public, when her face could be seen by many, when in fact, Wilson was very unwilling for this second marriage to be known to the public, he said, if this is seen by many, it will be a big question.

"My atmosphere is on the rise, so, don't mess around if I don't want to be baseless, okay?" wilson asked, deliberately looking at Veila, catching the nod that the woman was doing, then drove back to the car. It was a tough day for Wilson.
