Van felt a sense of awkwardness towards her husband this late. The man often comes home late at night. Suspicion grew when she found her husband not in the office since the afternoon when he asked the receptionist over the phone. Van won't let any of that happen. Than He was bad to think He would be sure of Ladit's own activities out there.
Afternoon around 3 o'clock. Van was waiting for her husband at the coffee shop right in front of the office. She sat inside facing the glass window to find out when her husband came out.
A few minutes waiting. Seen the car in use Ladit already parked in front of the building. Shortly after, the man got out and got into the car. The van rushed. He didn't want to lose track. He followed the luxury car while keeping a distance so as not to be caught.
The car carrying Ladit stopped at a luxury European-style building. The surroundings were so quiet and the luxurious Mansion stood firmly there. The van could not enter as several armed guards stood upright on the right and left sides of the gate. He could only observe from afar without knowing the activities inside.
"You did Mas Ladit here. Try me to call." He said while grabbing a cell phone.
Van calls are connected.
"Assalamualaikum Darling."
"Waalaikumsalam Mas Hotel. Where are you again?"
"I'm in the office again. Signing some papers." Said Ladit lying making Van smile wryly.
"Honey. You want to bring something with you when I get home?"
"No. I just want to hear your voice."
"Oh. My wife misses you?"
"Yes. It was yes. You continue the work. I'm gonna take a shower first."
"Yes. Assalamualaikum Darling."
"Getishalight."
"You lied to me." Van muttered as he looked towards the front.
Ladit was discussing with some of his subordinates. The man looked resolute and authoritative. Carrying a character that is very inversely proportional when He is with his wife or family.
"Everything is ready?
"Had the Boss. Some of the less deserving ones we've replaced with new ones."
"good. Rest, you've worked hard today."
"Good Boss." The answer is to leave the man alone.
It's getting dark. Several containers came out of the Mansion followed by a car troupe behind it. Van immediately followed her husband's car which was in the middle row. He kept a long distance and mingled with other riders.
The group took the van on a pier. Dozens of burly men lined up on the right and left while the container moved onto a large ship. Van concludes that this is a shipment of goods but I don't know what it is. One of the dozen men approached her husband and handed him several black maps. The sound of a free shot directed upwards made Van a little surprised. A few seconds later accompanied by a ship that began to dock.
"You go first."
"What about the Boss?"
"I'll be here for a while. I'll call my wife."
"But the boss can't be alone."
"Go away. I'll be fine."
"Good Boss. Good night."
"Night."
They all dispersed after getting an answer from Ladit.
The car troupe one by one began to leave the dock that looked deserted. Van still clearly saw her husband standing there staring out at such a vast ocean.
"Mas." The call made Ladit's heart seem to stop beating. He twisted his body which felt very heavy and reluctant. He was not prepared for this kind of atmosphere.
"Mas." call Van again after the two manage to face each other. The woman was still standing in her place motionless.
"Dear." The word came from Ladit's mouth.
"Honey. I can explain everything. Let's go home first."
"I want to hear now. Here."
"But..."
"I waited. I won't be home if you don't explain right now."
The man walked quickly and then grabbed his wife's body.
"sorry. I lied and I hid everything from you. But when you know who I really am. Please stay by my side. Don't leave me. I love you."
"I'll listen to your explanation."
"I won't tell you the details because it's too long. I can only explain if I'm a Mafia."
"You hurt people?"
"If you need it."
"What are you doing here?"
"Sending weapons. I'm the producer."
"I want to go home."
"Honey. You don't have to be afraid. I'm not gonna hurt you."
"I want to go home now, Mom."
"alright. Give me the car keys. I'll drive." Van gave her husband the car keys. His head was so dizzy at this moment.
Along the way Van was silent while staring out the window. While Ladit only occasionally glanced at his wife. He knew Van was disappointed at the moment. He did not dare to disturb and let the woman calm down first.
Both have arrived home. Without waiting for her husband the woman went straight inside. Ladit quickly caught up with the wife who entered the room.
"Honey. I'm sorry."
"Band. I'll get the clothes ready."
"Honey. I'm mistaken. I'm sorry." He said, hugging Van from behind. Van turned to look at her husband's bead. That look Van knew was right. A look of guilt and regret.
"I need some time. Please understand. It's all so sudden and it's not easy for me."
"alright. I'm sorry."
"Band. I'll prepare clothes and dinner for you."
"Yes." Yeah." Ladit said he was not negotiating as usual.
Both are still the same when they are in bed. Van and Ladit. The two men did not open the conversation. The man turned his body to face his wife. He grabbed Van's body carrying the woman in his arms.
"Why have you lied to me so far. You have the heart." Van said suddenly crying, making Ladit feel more guilty. His heart felt in Hujam dagger exhausted hearing the roaring cry of the wife.
"Sorry Honey. I just don't want to lose you. I don't want you to leave me when you know the real me."
"Tell me the truth. No one is missing."
"Good." Ladit rubbed his wife's cheeks and then kissed both eyes and lips beautifully alternately. He brought Van's body into his lap while gently rubbing the wife's head.
"It used to belong to Daddy." He said he surprised Van.
"Daddy?"
"Yes. At first Daddy was the same as me. But Daddy resigned because at that time Mom found out. Mom threatened to leave Daddy if he didn't back down. As you know, because of so much love Daddy same Mom Daddy chose to leave the business he pioneered since zero. Daddy was so firm and merciless that everyone was bowing to him. His power ended and he entrusted it to Papa, who was his friend and right hand. Because Papa died don't want me to continue." Clearly to the wife. Van was silent. There's nothing he wants to say. Slowly the sleepiness began to fall. Van closed his eyes quietly. Ladit smiles. He allowed the wife's sleeping position to be comfortable. Ladit kissed his lips and all over Van's face then clenched his body warmly.
