Chapter 18: Efforts

Now Arsenio and Laura are in Laura's room. Because Laura was only a single woman on her team, she always got her own room without sharing it with others.

Deborah, of course she's a man who has to be one room with another man. Only, he always refused to one room with another, so he rented his own room.

Arsenio still looked at his wife with a questionable look. He was still not entirely sure of what Rendi said and also of his wife.

He felt that Rendi's words were very convincing and as he remembered Laura was in the toilet at that time. So he thought if it could all happen.

However, he did not get the proof, so he also became doubtful.

Laura felt that Arsenio was looking at her like never before. In his heart he said,

He must still be suspicious of me. I have to give back her trust in me.

Laura walked up to her husband and pulled his hand until Arsenio got up from her seat. 

"Mas, what if we take a bath together?" laura asked with a smile and rolled her eyes to tease her husband.

Arsenio could not refuse it. Which man refuses if invited by a beautiful woman to bathe with him, especially the woman is his wife.

Arsenio smiled and with a quick movement he managed to hold his wife.

Pluck up!

I heard something falling on the floor. 

Arsenio and Laura looked at the floor. Laura's eyes widened at the glass vial bottle that had fallen from her pants pocket. He was very sorry for his stupidity that did not throw the bottle and its contents in the toilet earlier.

Arsenio looked down and tried to reach the bottle. He scrunched his forehead as he looked at the bottle and said,

"What's this?"

"That mm. I'm ashamed to say it. Actually I'm setting that up for tonight. I want to satisfy you in this place" Laura replied with her handcuffs, which made an abstract pattern on her husband's chest to tease her.

Instantly Arsenio's lips curved upwards. He could not refuse what his wife was going to do to him. Then he said,

"Of course I'm very happy. But, is it harmless to wear this? We want a descent. If this has any other effect, it should not be used. Throw away this medicine."

Laura smiled and nodded her head. This time she was very proud of her husband. Her husband's decision made her very meaningful.

As if impatient, they took each other off their clothes and threw them in any direction.

Arsenio brought his wife's body into the bathroom in the room. They bathe together as was their custom in the early days of their marriage.

Laura was really following her husband's orders. He threw away the powder that was in the glass vial bottle he had taken from Ferdian's assistant's pants pocket into the closet.

As if not satisfied playing in the bathroom, they both moved to the bed. And that night they passed with passion even without drugs like that.

They also slept together with a blanket of fatigue because of their activities tonight.

Arsenio's embrace was very comfortable, so it made Laura feel calm in her arms. Until without them knowing the time passed very quickly.

After a while, Laura's phone rang. The sound of Laura's cell phone ringing was able to disturb their sleep.

"Who's calling at this hour?" arsenio asked in a heavy voice without opening her eyes.

Laura refused to open her eyes. His hand was stretched out on the table next to his bed to pick up his cell phone.

"Hello" said Laura after pressing the green button to answer the phone call.

Filming will begin soon. Come quickly to the park. Everyone gathered there.

Dani's voice came from the phone which was able to make both of Laura's eyes open perfectly.

Instantly Laura rose from her sleep and sat down with her eyes wide open. Then he said,

"Okay, I'll be there soon."

Laura's movements were able to make Arsenio open her eyes. Coupled with Laura's very loud voice, making Arsenio wonder. 

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" arsenio asked as she yawned and rubbed her two eyes.

Laura who had ended her phone call turned to her husband and said,

"They were waiting for me in the garden. I gotta get there fast. You just continue sleeping. I'll get ready and go right now."

Laura got out of bed and immediately went into the bathroom carrying her clothes. Arsenio immediately put on her clothes that were scattered on the floor because they were impatient when removing clothes before entering the bathroom.

"Wait, I'll take you, '" Arsenio said as she grabbed Laura's hand.

Laura did not refuse. She felt safer being with her husband in the early hours of the day like now.

Suddenly a notification message came from Laura's phone. He took the phone from inside his bag and immediately saw it. He was afraid that the notification was an important message from his partner.

Instantly Laura's eyes widened to see the nominal number that entered into her account. His lips curved upwards looking at the results of his labor this time.

Fourteen million rupiahs. Same with my hard work. This time the mission is over. The relief of my heart, Laura said in her heart accompanied by her happy smile.

Arsenio felt strange with his wife who was shocked when she saw the incoming message on her phone, but a second later she smiled. 

"What's wrong? Who's texting at this hour?" arsenio asked with a suspicious look.

Laura was nervous and immediately turned off her phone. Then he put the phone in his bag and said,

"No, it's nobody. They told me to be there soon."

Arsenio felt something was hidden by his wife. Instantly he remembered the words of Rendi earlier. But he immediately brushed it off and said in his heart,

No. gabe. That's not possible. Laura proved it with me. He also did not contact or text anyone. I'd better trust him. And I'll wait for him to find the truth.

Now they have arrived at the resort park. Again Anto was surprised by the presence of Arsenio who came along with Laura.

"Loh, why are you here? Did you catch your wife here because filming this time wasn't on her schedule?" ask Anto who welcomed Laura's arrival along with her husband.

Arsenio smiled and extended her hand at Anto to shake hands at him. Then he said,

"It just so happens that I'm with my team eating in the room next to yours. So we accidentally met."

Anto chuckled at Arsenio's reply. After that he said,

"It's fitting that Laura often went in and out of the room with the reason to go to the toilet, apparently because she wanted to meet you."

Instantly Arsenio turned to his wife with a suspicious look as she recalled Rendi's words.

"alright. Prepare first," said Anto while leaving the couple.

"May I ask?" arsenio asked with a suspicious look at his wife.

Laura again nervously looked at her husband's eyes which looked like she was doubting him. Then he said,

"Of course I can. What's up?"

"Did you know the other teammate from the dining room with me earlier?"

Laura's forehead frowned as if she did not understand her husband's question as she said,

"No. Wh why? Was there another team in your room?" 

Laura's acting is absolutely perfect. Even his acting skills improved because of the mission he was running.

Arsenio let out a sigh that looked like frustration. He could not think about everything continuously. Finally he asked his wife about what Rendi had told him.

"So Rendi saw you together with the men around the toilet and you guys…,"

"Oh. She asked me because she seemed to know me and didn't know exactly who I was" Laura said quickly so her husband wouldn't say anything else.

"really?" ask Arsenio back.

Laura nodded her head confidently so that Arsenio could not doubt her.

Arsenio looked at the bead in his wife's eyes and said in her heart,

What the hell is going on? Why do I feel stupid now?

"I'll get ready first. You can go back into the room or wait for me there," Laura said as she pointed at the garden chair not far from where they were standing at the moment.

After saying that, Laura immediately walked quickly towards Deborah who was already waiting for her to groom her.

However, when Deborah tidied her hair, Laura again saw the panel that always gave her a mission. In his heart he said,

Is that the sixth mission for me?
