Chapter 33 - Stampede 4th Floor

The Earth is really nervous right now. The stampede, which occurred in the next few hours, alarmed the public. The nightmare of a few months ago was still etched clearly in the minds of the crowd.

The Government of the State with the Tower, in his country, has declared martial law and evacuated the general public. The United States and the Netherlands even made fortifications to prevent the Monsters from escaping and rioting in areas other than around the Tower.

The Trouble Guild had gotten so many calls from several countries. However, its limited members made the Trouble Guild would only fly to three Countries by dividing it into three appropriate groups.

Ethan decides to come to the United States alone. The reason was simple, because the power of the United States was already strong enough. There was no reason to send another Trouble Guild member other than Ethan there.

"So, this is what you call science." Alice, who sat by Ethan's side, was impressed to see the plane flying without using magic.

Another reason why Ethan dared to come alone was of course, it was because of Alice. Alice who was slowly starting to form her physical body, had more helpful abilities than most A or S Rank Hunters.

The boring trip took 7 hours on the plane before the plane finally landed at George Bush International Airport.

Getting off the plane, Ethan takes Alice by the hand and leaves the International Airport. Ethan's arrival was not made public. No reporters are waiting.

Ethan and Alice take a taxi to downtown Houston, Texas. Along the way, the city is still quite crowded. There's only 28 hours left before Stampede happens. Society is so relaxed.

The taxi stopped in front of a Canaries Corporation hotel. Of course the reason for Ethan's arrival here is so the two are easy to meet Gordon, not because he wants a free room.

Ethan signed up for five days. As soon as he gets the key with the number 208, Ethan and Alice immediately go up to the 11th Floor.

As soon as she reached the very spacious room, Alice looked at Ethan with an angry look as she pointed to the only mattress in the room.

"Then, what about me?"

"What do you mean!? I also want to sleep on a soft bed!" Alice sulks in annoyance.

Alice's cheeks immediately reddened after she knew how severe Ethan's misunderstanding was. "Ap– What do you mean!? We just slept together! Don't say it like we're doing something else!"

"Another thing? Is there anything else you can do in the room?" Ethan plays dumb and makes Alice blush even more because she is filled with shame.

Alice was really frustrated. He desperately wants to strangle Ethan's neck until his soul leaves his body.

Alice turned away with bulging cheeks. "Hmphs. Basic teaser. I'll complain about your behavior to Erica when I return."

"What am I doing? Allowing the Queen's desire to sleep together?"

"Already! Just shut up, Pembully!"

Ethan laughed amusedly at how innocent the response Alice gave was. Who would have thought Alice was over two centuries old with her innocence.

"So, each fort will be occupied by 300 Hunter Rank C or higher? That's a pretty solid plan." Ethan stroked his chin while reading the plans of the American Hunter Association.

There will be several witches in each Fortress. In addition, traps and claymores were installed around the Fort. With this, of course, stampede should be detained. But that's temporary. When the Claymore runs out, the burden for the Hunter will increase draining their stamina and mana. When that happens, defeat is only a matter of time.

"Is there a problem?" Gordon asked because he saw Ethan's agitated expression.

Ethan closed his eyes. He can't tell Gordon. So, Ethan just shook his head. "No. Let's do this plan. Although it will be very tiring, this is still a solid plan."

Ethan is convinced Kiaa and Li Mei who are currently in the Tower will complete the 4th Floor. So, until then, Ethan only needs to hold Stampede with all his own strength. This could also be Ethan's public show off.

Gordon was still feeling uneasy because of Ethan's restless expression earlier. He wanted to ask further but, he paused his intention and took back the documents about tomorrow's plan.

"If so, I'll be back. Your place tomorrow is, Fortress 3. Please don't get up too late because it's too excited tonight, okay?" Gordon grinned and his eyes glanced at Alice who slept first in the bed.

"I understand. If so, go." Ethan drives Gordon away to leave because he's already very sleepy.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has not fully recovered. Today, Kuala Lumpur is filled with thousands of Hunters. The expressions of tension were engraved clearly on the faces of all of them. They do not believe they have to face the same nightmare as 6 months ago.

Jun's shout resuscitated everyone from fear. No, their bodies are still shaking. However, their eyes were now filled with fighting spirit. They held up their weapons and shouted loudly.

"Yes! This is our land, right! Don't fear!"

"Kill! Kill it! Kill it!"

The loud screams from the two sides intimidated each other. However, the war was not determined with who shouted the loudest.

Silvia casts her strongest AoE spell for now. "!"

A blast of wind that was as sharp as a blade lunged and stopped the momentum of the Monsters. With the attack as the beginning, the fight between humans and Monsters begins.
