Chapter 35 - Retribution

"Ck! There really is no end!" Nina complains because monsters keep coming during the night.

Hunter Malaysia was really pushed back from the Fort in Kuala Lumpur. They built a new defense base in Shah Alam. Luckily, there were not too many casualties.

"You're right .. I'm so tired of constantly using magic." Silvia had blackened eye bags and her cheeks became very sunken like a hungry mussel.

"However, the most tired person is .. Erica." Jun looked at Erica who was busy taking care of those who were heavily or lightly injured.

"He really forced himself. Even so, maybe that's why Brother likes her."

"Fixed ... Given such a bad first impression, Erica actually helped them selflessly. That's amazing."

Jun, Silvia, and Nina smiled with relief at the message. The main reason was because they were happy to find out that their two precious comrades had survived and had managed to save the 4th Floor.

Nina clenched her fists tightly and her eyes were fiery. "Now, those fucking monsters, I'm going to hunt them down until they're no longer left."

Silvia and Jun looked at each other and laughed at Nina's words. However, they agreed with Nina's words. They were very upset with the monsters that did not stop every day.

"The next time Stampede happens, it's better that the other members come to the United States, I beg you." Gordon stood beside Ethan with a bitter smile. Gordon looked at a Golden Ult Serpent that looked so domineering and powerful.

A few hours before Stampede completely ended, a snake Monster appeared from the Tower. Golden Ult Serpent, a Monster with beautiful golden scales and has a strong defense against physical and magic attacks. Normally, this Golden Serpent would stay in the 12th Floor region. This leaves Ethan shocked when he sees her appear.

"Stop blaming me. You better avoid."

"What do you mean–"

"Kieeek!"

Hundreds of golden scales flew towards Gordon and Ethan. Not only the two of them, but, the other Hunter was also hit by the attack from the golden scales of the snake.

"Kuhk!?"

"Argh! The pain!"

"F*ck!"

Some people dodged too late and they suffered fatal injuries and some even split into two just like that because of the golden scales. Gordon felt his spine goosebumps at the sight. If he was not given a warning, he would really have fared just like them.

"." Ethan muttered and a domain covering a small part of the battlefield appeared. "Gordon, Alice, you can attack him. I'll give you both support, so don't worry."

Ethan raised his hand and dozens of blood needles formed. Then, with a single swing, the blood needle began to charge towards the Golden Ult Serpent.

Sensing danger, the Golden Ult Serpent attempted to escape. Because he was a snake, his body flexibility was so high that he could dodge even if it was not perfect because it was still slightly scratched.

"Where do you want to go?" Alice appeared beside the Golden Ult Serpent's body and attacked with her scythe.

Bam!

"Kieeek!" The Golden Ult Serpent tried to attack Alice with its fangs.

Alice grinned widely fearlessly even though she was facing the snake's big mouth. Alice knew she could trust the contractor.

Five blood spears pointed directly at the mouth of the Golden Ult Serpent that was wide open. His speed was far above the speed the Golden Ult Serpent covered his mouth.

Jem!

It stuck and melted at the next moment inside the mouth of the Golden Ult Serpent. A searing pain filled the mouth of the Golden Ult Serpent and he started to craze.

"Kieeek! Shaaah!"

Slamming its tail in all directions, a cloud of dust rose. A few unlucky Hunters were crushed into mashed meat.

"It's the end." Gordon was hovering in midair, aiming for an upside-down scale on the back of the Golden Ult Serpent. "!"

An extremely hot golden lightning was thrown at Gordon's full power and speed.

Bam!

An extremely powerful explosive sound echoed around the area. Dust clouds rise and temperatures rise drastically.

Ethan, unaffected even by the flying dust, frowned at how destructive Gordon's attack was. "He really is the best in terms of the power to destroy."

"... That's what you said after splitting the two Level 2 Arenas?" Alice commented on the monologue Ethan muttered.

As soon as the dust cloud disappeared, the Golden Ult Serpent was dead with a hole in its head.

Ethan's body trembles to see where Gordon's attack is. Tears gathered in his eyes. "Dam. That crazy bastard! He completely destroyed the brains of the Golden Ult Serpent!?"

Ethan was already eyeing the brain of the Golden Ult Serpent when it first appeared. Unlike the other monsters, the Golden Ult Serpent stored energy within his brain instead of his heart. The Golden Ult Serpent contained a lot of heat energy which could reduce the side effects of the Immortal Black Peach!

Alice has no idea what makes Ethan so depressed. However, seeing her so desperately made Alice feel very happy and very relieved.

"God." Alice smiled condescendingly and turned away so as not to be caught laughing at him.

The United States was the first country to end the Stampede nightmare. Then, followed by Malaysia in number two, and the Netherlands in third.
