The Last Human Returns.

The Last Human Returns.
Chapter 5 - Hell!?

For the past week, everyone has only focused on stamina and physical training. They will run before sunrise in the sky and the afternoon before sunset. Ethan also did not forget to teach them to do special gymnastics to facilitate blood circulation and mana in their bodies.

"Oh. I really feel young again." Jun exclaimed in admiration because his stamina had already returned just like before the system appeared

"You sound like an old man, Jun." Silvia laughed amusedly at Jun who was acting like a rejuvenated old man.

Li Mei, Kiaa, and Nina who were extremely sensitive to the pink atmosphere, looked at the pair of love slaves who were teasing each other without knowing the place with an exasperated look.

Sitting on a boulder where he was always meditating, Ethan read the notes of every skill the Trouble Guild members had. Surprisingly, they gave all the descriptions of their skills accordingly.

Ethan closed the note. He doesn't know if they're stupid for trusting him too much or because they're pretty sure Ethan will help them get stronger. Whatever their reasons, Ethan will help everyone get to the top of their craft.

Staring at the resting Guild members, Ethan opened his mouth. "Have you guys had enough rest? Now, you're gonna start practicing with your weapons."

As soon as Ethan spoke, all the Trouble Guild members lined up neatly and firmly.

""""Yes!""""

The atmosphere on the ground felt like it was in a military place. However, Ethan does not hate the atmosphere, because that means, they are all very serious in training.

Ethan, who has traded his entire fortune into System Coin, buys several weapons that are considered compatible with the expertise and specialists of each member. Although all of them are only low-level weapons, Ethan becomes poor by buying all of them.

Ethan covered up the pain of losing so much money with his cold face. He called a few people to come forward.

"Jun, Michael, Arya, Kiaa, Li Mei, and Hu Tao, choose your weapons. I'll give you five minutes."

All those whose names are called immediately move. Of course they don't really care what weapon they will choose, because they already have the weapons they understand the most when playing VR games [Eden].

Jun, who plays the role of a tank, takes on a kite shield large enough to protect his body. Kiaa, an Archery Athlete who had won the Olympics, of course chose the bow. Li Mei's weapon was, a pair of daggers 40 CM long. Arya chose a large sword that looked like an iron rod instead of a sword. Michael on the other hand, he chose a weapon that was palin safe that is, a long sword. Everything was the same as Ethan had expected, other than Hu Tao.

Ethan looked at Hu Tao with a strange look. "Hu Tao, you picked a scythe? Not whip?"

Hu Tao picked up a different weapon compared to when in the game. In the game, Hu Tao chose the whip as the main weapon. She was so skilled that she was called the Sadistic Queen by the other Players.

Hu Tao looked at his scythe with a small smile and nodded. "Yes. Guild Master took this out not without reason, right? I feel the sickle is more compatible with the skills I have."

Ethan was shocked by Hu Tao's observation. Although sometimes he seems to think of nothing, he is very quick to understand the intent of the actions or words of others.

"If you think so, then, that's good." Ethan pretends to be unimpressed. He looked to the other members who had already chosen their weapons. "Now, I want you to make any moves while holding your weapons. I'll watch and correct your movements if you make a mistake."

"""Ready!"""

Following Ethan's direction, everyone immediately goes away and makes the basic moves Ethan has taught them during the game.

Now, Ethan looked towards the remaining ones. He pointed at Erica, Nina, and Silvia. "Three of you have a talent in magic. So, I'm gonna teach you guys to form cores."

"The core? Is it like the Dantian in Murim's story?" Nina asked the question because she was curious.

"That's a little similar. Now, you better start sitting cross-legged. I'll help you feel the presence of mana in your body for the first time."

"""understand."""

The three of them immediately sat cross-legged on the spot without fear of getting dirty. Among the three, Erica who had the best posture. His breath was not restrained and his blood flow was smooth. Silvia and Nina, they had a slight defect.

"Silvia, try a little more relaxed. You're too stiff."

"A– I understand." Silvia tried her best to improve her position.

"Nina. Straighten your back. Besides, set your breath consistently."

"Yes!"

With direction from Ethan, Nina and Silvia begin to improve their posture. Now, both of them were already not inhibiting the circulation of mana in their bodies.

They follow Ethan's instructions. However, it is not easy to adjust the rhythm of the breath manually. So, they will definitely take a long time to get used to.

While waiting for sometime, Ethan glanced at the two remaining people who were bowed with a grim expression. They were obviously very afraid of not being needed inside the Guild because Ethan did not tell them to train in magic or weapons.

"The two of you ... don't have any fighting power, do you?"

Ethan's question makes Leo and Rara lower their heads. Their facial expressions grew grim.

Ethan smiled gently and touched their shoulders. He handed over two books that had very thick leather and paper covers more than the paper sold on the market.

"Accept this and learn it well. You will be the main pillars of this Guild in the future."

"Eh?"

"What?"

Leo and Rara looked at Ethan with surprised looks. Their gazes then fell onto the book in Ethan's hands. The book is pretty thick. Just looking at it alone already knew at least over a hundred pages.

"What's wrong? Don't you want this?"

"No, we want it!"

"Thank you, Brother Ethan!"

The two quickly take the book in Ethan's hands. Their eyes sparkled and it was nice to see the book Ethan gave them. When they checked the contents of the book, they were surprised to find all the writing in it contained handwriting.

"Guild Master, this–" Rara tried to ask. However, Ethan had already gone to the members who were practicing weapons.

Leo and Rara looked at Ethan with moved gazes. They bow to Ethan's back as a thank you. Their eyes seemed to smolder with a passion to learn the text Ethan gave.

Ethan on the other hand is still very busy. He went to Hu Tao's place which looked very awkward with the weapon he had just used today.

"Does anything make you not understand, Hu Tao?"

Hu Tao stopped swinging his huge scythe and looked at Ethan with a puzzled face. "Ah, Guild Master. I don't understand my duties in a party fight. Therefore, I don't understand the way of using the sickle that I want."

Ethan nodded. That's a fundamental problem experienced by those who change their roles.

"Can you give me that scythe for a minute?"

"certain." Hu Tao handed his scythe to Ethan.

Holding a scythe, Ethan begins to make a demonstration move while providing an explanation. "Sabit has the same wide range as the whip. Moreover, he was extremely heavy and slow, his attack patterns were also more limited than whips. Even so, the damage the sickle produced was certain. With a scythe, you can control the battlefield more freely."

Ethan ended his movement with a slash that produced a tremendous gust of wind in all directions. Not only that, one leaf was cut into two perfectly right in the middle.

Everyone stops their activities just to watch Ethan. The demonstration Ethan showed wasn't just pampering the eyes. It was terrifying and perfect without any gaps. The weakness of the sickle that had many gaps was covered by movements that looked like a hurricane.

"Guild Master, have you ever used a scythe before?" The question came out spontaneously from Hu Tao's mouth who was amazed by the demonstration Ethan showed.

Ethan handed the scythe back to Hu Tao. "I have one account that I used to practice a lot of weapons in [Eden] first. So, I understand some weapon fighting styles other than swords."

Ethan is not lying. He bought two Ke-I machines and created one account to use as an alibi at times like these. Because Ethan knew such a question would arise.

"Ah, I didn't hear anything. There could be no one who could use all the weapons well just because they tried!"

"Ethan is not human, Ethan is not human. Let's ignore!"

Everyone tries not to be envious of Ethan's talent. That is understandable, getting the best results from something that is not occupied. For people who train hard, it's like poison to their hearts.

Ethan's alibi succeeds in a way that almost destroys the mental members of his own Guild.
