Not Mature Enough

Just as Anggita came out of Kevin's room, he was shocked when Alan suddenly pulled his hand.

“You talked to him?” ask Alan.

Anggita looked down at Alan's hand that grasped his wrist. Realizing that he was still holding the hand of a woman who had not been his wife, Alan gave up his grip.

“Iya, I spoke to him earlier. I hope he reflects on my words. Please don't get mad or hit him again yes,” Anggita replied with a look of hope.

Although they are fellow men, and the fistfight is common to them, Anggita cannot accept it all. What else are they brothers, and he knows if his lover's actions are not true.

“Phone he heard you talk earlier how?”

Alan was really scared if his sister's attitude towards Anggita was far from friendly. Remembering his sister had a thoughtless talk, when telling him to marry his girlfriend without thinking about the feelings of Anggita who will be his sister-in-law.

The girl nodded slowly, with a smile on her lips.

“He must be very scared now, Alan. We are the adults of him, still not thinking about marriage. Is he still a teenager? It all makes him unable to think clearly, and talk to his own little heart,” Anggita explained telling Kevin's grief to his brother.

“But still he was wrong, Aggita,” Alan said the same thing.

“Iya, I know. But, what with you and your family is wrong and nyudutin him, this problem will be finished? No, Alan. And one more thing, why don't you tell me?” tanya Anggita makes Alan silent a thousand languages.

“My answer is Alan. You don't believe me?” sue Anggita because he did not hear this news from the beginning.

“Sorry, I just found out last night. I am embarrassed and confused how to explain this to you, Anggita,” Alan replied. His gaze is full of guilt, while Anggita actually does not dispute it, because he also already knows it. What disappointed him a little was just how Alan's attitude as a big brother handled all of this.

“Yes already, after this let him be alone first. Later if he has decided everything, I am sure he must talk to his family,” Anggita said while rubbing Alan's shoulders so that his lover is calmer.

“Thank you you have been attentive, and understanding with me and my family,” said Alan was so grateful to have Anggita as his lover.

His mother was not wrong in choosing a woman to be a daughter-in-law. Although Anggita's education is not high, but his attitude and way of dealing with problems is very mature.

A few days back, Anggita felt that the atmosphere in the place where he worked was getting quieter, until he got word from Alan if Kevin was in the hospital.

“I—iya, I will take mom there,” Anggita replied stammered.

“What's up, Anggita? Why is your face so tense?" ask Ratih when he finds Anggita receiving a call from someone.

“Kevin, Mom. Kevin is in the hospital,” Anggita replied.

“Innalallahi.” Ms. Ratih instantly lost her balance, if Anggita did not quickly hold the woman's weight, and asked her to stay sober.

“Alan and Mr. Galih have taken him to the hospital, Mom. He asked us to go there,”, Anggita said hoping that Ratih bu remained unconscious, even though they were both surprised to hear the news.

How not! A few days ago the boy looked very moody, with wounds still adorning his body, and now they got more heartbreaking news.

“What happened to Kevin, Anggita? How could he be in the hospital?” tanya Ratih has shed tears.

A person who does not know the chronology of the incident, can only shake their head and ask the family's personal driver to speed up the car, so they will arrive at the hospital immediately.

Arriving at the hospital, Anggita immediately asked the receptionist about Kevin's whereabouts. After finding out if the man was still in the IGD, they rushed to get there.

“Alaaan!” call Mrs Ratih sounds so sad.

Alan immediately grabbed his mother who was crying. His heart was so sore that the woman he loved had shed tears lately, because his sister was now lying unconscious inside.

“How is your sister? Why is he here, Alan? Should your sister is still in school,” berdong bu Ratih continues to urge his eldest son to explain everything that happened.

Mr. Galih who could not bear to see his wife continued to cry, led the woman to sit on a waiting chair near the IGD room.

“We don't know what happened to Kevin. We just pray nothing bad happens with him,” said Pak Galih trying to calm his wife.

Not long after, the doctor who handled Kevin finally came out of the room.

“How is my sister, Doc?” ask Alan first.

“Alhamdulillah the wound experienced by the patient is not too severe, and no sharp objects that injure the patient's body. The patient is also conscious, but do not talk much,” replied the doctor.

“Can I log in, Doc?” alan's permission could not wait to see his sister's situation firsthand.

“Boleh, but two people only, so as not to disturb the comfort of patients,” said the doctor invited them in.

Finally Alan and Ratih ma'am who first entered to see Kevin. The woman's cry broke again looking at her son's face that was covered in wounds. The wounds from Alan's slaps and punches have not dried up, and he has now received new wounds.

Kevin's eyes were swollen, only opened a little and it was very difficult for him to see. However, he was still grateful to be able to see his family even though it was a little and looked blurry.

“Mother,” call Kevin raise his hand.

Madam Ratih grabbed Kevin's hand and kissed him.

“Yes, this is mom, son,” replied bu Ratih gently rubbing his son's cheek.

“Sorry Kevin, Mom,” said Kevin was full of regret for making his mother cry.

He no longer blamed Alan or was angry at his brother, because now he himself felt hurt to see the tears of the woman who had given birth to him.

“So, I'm sorry,” said Kevin staring at Alan standing next to the hospital bed he was sleeping in.

“Sister who apologizes to you,” replied Alan.

Although he was angry at Kevin, but Alan still did not accept to see his brother injured.

He wanted to ask Kevin immediately, who and how he could be injured to this extent. Seeing his brother who was originally bathed in blood, Alan was so afraid that his life could not be saved..
