The Legendary Farmer's

The Legendary Farmer's
Chapter 11 - Shelter

Four wheels turned tirelessly down the city streets, moving the carriage filled with piles of wooden crates, following a human figure who was also tirelessly swinging a step. Hour after hour has passed. Tiredness for the sake of fatigue has accumulated all over the body. Sweat dripping accompanied the roar of breath gasping violently.

Despite the tired body, Paijo's gaze remained focused and sharp. More than a hundred kilometers of Paijo have sailed the city streets. Tired up? Of course Paijo felt that. Surrender? Nah! Never once had Paijo thought such a thing. Whatever happens, Paijo is determined to finish his training menu this time.

"Finally there." A smile on Paijo's lips. His eyes sparkled happily because his struggle for the night produced sweet results.

A field half the size of a football field was seen in the distance. The blue flag with the symbol of rice and wheat plants that cross each other in the middle is fluttering gently in the corners of the land. Inside stood a sturdy two-story building that was not too big. A similar flag fluttered at the top of his roof. Hundreds of figures filled the land, and dozens more unaccounted for stood in the streets.

Paijo sped up his pace, exerting his remaining power to get to the front of the building faster. As the wheels rolled closer to the ground, condescending gazes and disgust sprang to stab Paijo.

"What the fuck is that man? Do they work like animals?"

"The weak are weak!"

"The human race should never have existed in this world."

"You are better suited to be slaves!"

Various insults were hurled at Paijo, and more and more as his cart entered the field. Everyone looked down on Paijo. Words that continue to underestimate humans continue to be simple to make things complicated. All compact. All have one thought in common, that is, humans are only a weak and useless race in the entire Gedhetenan Land.

Paijo kept walking steadily. Not one bit Paijo listened to those useless rants. Only silence could Paijo respond to them. After all there is nothing to be denied from the painful utterances that pass through Paijo's eardrum. Everything that comes out of their mouth is true. The human race is weak.

"Hi! Don't you have any shame?" suddenly someone spoke in a loud voice. His words boomed to every corner of the land, instantly forcing everyone to shut up tightly. "Basic doesn't know himself! You should thank him. If it wasn't for that you wouldn't be eating today." continued the voice that turned out to be from a humanoid bear.

Hearing someone defending, Paijo could only respond with a wide smile and a respectful nod to the figure who had just exited the only building in this place.

"Are you from Safe Farm?"

"Yes!" his reply was brief with breathless breathing. At first glance Paijo observed the figure whose body was wrapped in brown armor. On his back was a great sword. Although the equipment attached to his body seemed heavy, the figure approached with quite agile and fast.

"Don't hear their foul words! They know nothing of real life" said the humanoid bear, with sympathy, and pushed Paijo's cart in front of the building.

Paijo is confused what to behave to the figure he thinks is not narrow-minded. Actually, the bullying experienced by Paijo in this place was also experienced in nineteen other shipping places. The different ones there were none defending like the humanoid figure of a bear. There were even some of them pelting Paijo with trash. What a very unexciting act.

Found this unpleasant attitude Paijo always kept quiet and did not respond. He thinks what happened is ironic. Indeed, the place that became the delivery point is a shelter. A place that provides food for Zerenians who cannot afford to make money. In other words, all who come to the place are like bums. Because they are already consumed by the reality, they never look at themselves and prefer to vent their inability to live life in humans. Though of all the shelters that Paijo came to, there was not a single human there.

"Thank you for the defense, sir!" paijo said sincerely.

The humanoid bear's figure replied with a smile. "Did you get a delivery quest from Safe Farm?" Ask to divert the conversation.

Paijo's expression turned confused. Not understanding the question asked of him. "Quest?" Paijo asked back. He deliberately did so because he did not understand the true intentions of the figure before him. Actually Paijo knew what a quest was, just a little surprised because what he was doing was considered a quest.

A quest is a request from someone to do something. In other words a job for anyone who takes it. That also means there will be a certain amount of money gained after completing the quest.

"You know? This is unusual. This was the first time Safe Farm gave me a quest."

"really?"

The humanoid bear nodded. "Usually Safe Farm always uses creatures from Creation skills to send the crates here" he explained. There was enthusiasm and curiosity that wrapped up his every word. "So-did you get a quest from the notice board in front of Safe Farm? If it's true, I'd like to take the quest once in a while as well."

"Sorry sir! But actually… "

"I don't really care about the pay." the humanoid bear figure cut in, thinking Paijo was having a fuss over the amount of pay from the quest. "Originally you know. Even if I don't pay a dime, I'll keep working on it. Yep. I will do it with all my heart. So is there a special trick in order to get the quest?"

Paijo scratched his head. Confused how to explain what really happened to the figure who had already misunderstood it.

"Actually I'm not running a quest, sir" said Paijo quickly so that his words were not cut a second time.

The expression of the humanoid bear figure turned serious. His gaze sharpened, observing every corner of Paijo's face closely. In fact he approached a few steps to find a streak of lies around Paijo's eyes.

"Not running a quest?" the humanoid bear figure repeated Paijo's statement. "Whatchu mean? You can explain it in simpler words!"

Paijo gulped, feeling that there was a threat that accompanied the words of the figure in front of him. Not only that, Paijo also felt like he was being intimidated by a power that he could not withstand.

"So-I did all this because of the commandments of my teachers." several times Paijo was crushed for fear of igniting the flames of contention. Just a little wrong throwing words can be ascertained interlocutor it will not hesitate to hit Paijo.

Paijo nodded. "Truly Sir. My teacher asked me to take these crates to the designated location. There are twenty places. So it's like a rehearsal menu from her."

"Are you serious?"

Once again Paijo nodded. Seeing the seriousness of Paijo when answering his question, the humanoid bear figure even mute a thousand languages. For a moment he observed Paijo from top to bottom while putting on a thoughtful expression.

The light brown hairy figure was confused. On the one hand he was doubtful of Paijo's statement. While on the other hand he did not find a trace of lies on the human face of the teenager. In addition he also considered the rumors that had become a secret among the elite of Astrois City. Rumor has it that the owner of Aman Farm is not just anyone and is very secretive.

Aman Farm will not allow anyone to enter its land. Even if someone accidentally breaks in without permission, it is certain that their lives will be lost. For that reason, no one dared to claim to be part of the farm. Especially declaring yourself a student there.

Actually the humanoid figure bears firm on its stance. But after seeing Paijo's current condition subconsciously changed his gaze a little. If someone is trying to make himself seen by people or looking for a loophole from a lie about Aman's farm there's no way they'll look as chaotic as Paijo.

Judging from any angle, Paijo's state did look like one who had just undergone extreme training. His body looks very tired, sweat pouring profusely until it continues to drip to the ground. Coupled with Paijo's clothes that have a lot of used holes burning increasingly makes Paijo's statement sound right. For anyone who has often been on the battlefield will certainly immediately believe if what wrapped the body of the teenager is not something deliberately made to get the sympathy of people.

"We better get those crates down." once again the humanoid bear figure switched the conversation. "Kids quickly help get these crates down!" he continued to give orders to a group of humanoid bear figures who were relaxing next to the door of the building.

With a quick glance the five figures approached the wagon. Their steps are quick and agile. Without waiting for the cue to directly lift the crate in the cart and bring it to the right side of the building that has been filled with piles of crates.

"Hi! I'm Errie!" greet the humanoid figure of the female bear who had just caught up with Paijo and walked beside him. The two stepped slowly while carrying a chest in each other's hands.

"Hi! You can call me Paijo." Paijo replied with a smile on his lips.

"I'm so sorry for what happened to your race" Errie said sympathetically. His expression turned grim. "Hopefully your hard times will soon pass."

"Thanks." reply Paijo briefly. His smile returned with unexpected things like Errie had just done.

What the figure who had a height of not more than one hundred and seventy centimeters made it flood Paijo's mind. Just from hearing every word that slid from his mouth anyone would definitely feel what Paijo felt. A pure sincerity gushed out from within the heart.

"What if next time we hunt together? You joined my party. No need to worry. We're not a bigot like them. Right guys?" Errie threw a glance at the four humanoid bears behind her who were also busy carrying crates.

"Yes. You're right, boss. We're not as stodgy as they are" Errie's four friends said simultaneously. How to talk the four figures of the girl like a bunch of robots. Then chuckle together before nodding and smiling full of friendship at Paijo.

Being treated warmly by the figures of the Bebearus race made Paijo feel comfortable and calm. "Thank you for the offer. But for now I don't want to trouble anyone. I don't want to be a burden."

"Well if that's your decision! But if you need help, you can call me." Errie replied while sending a friend request to Paijo.

Paijo immediately accepted Errie's friend request. Then put the crate next to another pile of crates that had piled up high before returning the cart and arranging the remaining crates in the designated place.

Paijo knows that Errie and her friends never mind Paijo's status. Even if they knew if Paijo was still level one and had not allocated a single base point, it could be ensured that they would still receive Paijo. For that reason, this time Paijo's steps felt lighter as he left the shelter. He just found a bond of friendship.

...-----@@-----...

In a room that was neither too big nor too small, a male figure was standing by the window on the second floor. The figure has pointed ears. Her slender body was clad in silk clothes. His long silver hair looks very harmonious with white skin all over his body. His sharp and calculating gaze was thrown out the window, fixated on a wagon that was moving slowly in the middle of the crowd.

Not for long a knock raced loudly. After the pointy-eared figure let in, a humanoid bear with a large sword on its back and wearing a full brown armor entered the room.

"Is Mr Solomon looking for me?" ask the humanoid figure of the bear when he gets to the center of the room.

"Who was the man talking to you? Then why did he bring the crates here?" Solomon, who was still observing the only wagon, asked.

"That's." the humanoid bear figure hesitated to answer what. Whether to explain what is appropriate what he heard, or look for safety with a little discussion of the shipping crate and immediately switch the conversation to something else. But before he could decide, Solomon spoke again.

"Tell me!"

"Okay Sir! I don't really know who that man is. But he claimed to be carrying out the duties of his teacher. Ha-that's all I know, sir."

"All right!" reply figure named Solomon flat. "Now you can go. Return to duty!"

After returning alone in his room decorated only with a table and a wooden chair, Solomon picked up a glass filled with red liquid on the table, then sip it a little until the entire oral cavity and throat is flooded with delicious sweetness. His lips then revealed a smile filled with enthusiasm.

"It's fascinating. It seems like soon this world will undergo a great change."
