Chapters 12. A Challenge

Roberto began to prepare himself, steadfast in his decision to change. He knew that this journey would be full of challenges, but he also felt confident that this was the right move.

"I know this journey won't be easy. I may face obstacles and temptations from the past. But I have to be strong and stick to this decision" he murmured alone.

"I have to tell Ella and Reo about my decision. I have to be honest with them and talk openly about the circumstances before, and apologize for Isabella."

Roberto felt it was important to share his plans and good intentions with Ella and Reo. He knows that they are an important part of his life, now. And he wanted to face this change together with both of them.

Roberto's phone shook, as a sign someone had contacted him.

"Hello?"

Roberto receives a call from someone unknown, because the phone number is without an ID.

"What are you planning, Roberto? Trying to get out of the black world?" ask someone with a Mysterious Voice. His tone was like cynical-humbling.

"Who is this? Why do you know about my plan?" asked Roberto in surprise.

"Haha ... I know everything, Roberto. I have information about you that could ruin everything" the Mysterious Voice said with a malicious laugh.

"Whoever you are, I'm not afraid of your threats!" Roberto responded with a firm tone.

"Hemmm, you're right. I won't threaten you, but I'll make you an offer." A Mysterious Voice sighed, offering a plan.

"What's the offer?" ask Roberto suspiciously.

"You want to get out of the black world, don't you? All right, but on condition." Mysterious Voice gave a relaxed answer.

"What condition, what condition?" ask Roberto again, with caution.

"I have a job you need to do. If you refuse, then I will tell Ella and Reo about your darker past than they thought!" Mysterious Voice sneered cunningly.

"You, you can't touch them! I won't let you hurt them!" shouted Roberto furiously.

"Hehehe ... So, what's your decision, Roberto? Are you willing to do as I tell you?" The Mysterious Voice chuckled with mocking intent.

"I'll do your job."

Roberto immediately gives an answer, thinking that he must protect Ella and Reo from the bad people around him.

"alright. I'll give you further instructions. Never forget who has control, Roberto. Hahaha ..." Mysterious Voice laughed in satisfaction, having managed to suppress his interlocutor.

Roberto felt trapped in a complicated trap. He must choose between betraying his own decisions or protecting Ella and Reo by facing a threat that might destroy everything.

This conflict risked his integrity and put him in a difficult and stressful situation.

Roberto is still not convinced by the information provided by the man. He finally asked again to convince himself.

"Where are you following the car?" ask her with a serious tone. He does not want to be helped anymore by the disappearance of the existence of Reo and Ella.

"Yes, and I knew it was the doctor's house from one of the merchants who was around the house."

Robert nodded in understanding. He understood that spying on someone must be complete, just like he usually does in the dark world.

"All right, thanks for the information. Your payment, I'm transferring now."

After he finished his business with the man, Roberto got ready to come to the house of one of the doctors who helped Reo with his surgery yesterday.

"I hope my arrival doesn't make a fuss in that house."

Soon, Roberto was on the road to large housing estates in South Jakarta. He continued to the street of the residential alley that was wide like a highway, according to the address obtained.

After being close to the house, Roberto's heart seemed to run. It was faster than usual, making him have to stop first.

"I-I .. I don't know if my decision is right or wrong. W-But, I have to straighten things out so Ella and Reo don't get me wrong."

After convincing himself and stopping for a while, Roberto continued on his way.

Convinced that the house is correct according to the address, Roberto stops his car. He got out of the car, then approached the gate of the mansion.

So it's true, if the gate was open using a remote control instead of being shifted by someone.
