Eps. 5: Searching for System

Li Anlan asked Xie Roulan to bring a bucket of cold water. The servant immediately obeyed the orders of his master without asking any more. Li Anlan then closed the door of her room tightly.

"Kc.. Is this guy practicing death?"

Li Anlan looked at the man in white clothes lying on his bed. As he heard a strange sound from his roof, Li Anlan immediately rushed out to see what object dared to damage the roof of his small palace. He was shocked when someone's body suddenly fell down before Li Anlan reached the stairs out.

A little while later, Li Anlan heard Xie Roulan yell to tell him that the water he asked for was ready. The woman then asked Xie Roulan to keep the bucket of cold water in front of the door.

After making sure Xie Roulan left, Li Anlan took the bucket of water. Without thinking anything more, he directly splashed it at the white man who had been lying down for quite a while on his bed.

"What are you doing?"

"Why is your name like a girl?"

Since his parents in this world were already dead, then Li Afan was his only family. Li Anlan had to accept Li Afan so that her brother could be useful in the future. Li Afan was forced to accept Li Anlan's clothes doubtfully. His heart cursed Li Anlan loudly for watering him and playing tricks on him. If she was not his sister and not his only family left, Li Afan would not have bothered to come to this deserted palace just to find out and make sure Li Anlan was doing well.

The two split up in a quiet park. Li Afan jumped over the guardrail after hugging his sister. He also said that he would visit often to see Li Anlan's situation and accompany him to play. Li Anlan let go of her brother with a smile. He has a family that loves him so much.

Since he was outside Xingyue Palace, Li Anlan decided to surround the park around Houchi Lake. In the time-traveling novels he has read, the main character is often accompanied by a system that guides him to survive or complete missions. Li Anlan wanted to know whether his arrival to this world was also accompanied by such a system or not.

Houchi Lake was the place where it was first discovered. So, the first place he will explore is Lake Houchi and the surrounding park. Li Anlan searched the system in the surrounding park first because the woman would create trouble if she jumped into Lake Houchi on a still bright day like this.

Li Anlan had been circling for almost three hours. But the system he was looking for was not found. Li Anlan occasionally cursed when his steps were exhausted while his level was not finished. One by one his life was lost until he was left. Li Anlan switched to a lifeless mode so that he could play as much as he could without worrying about his steps or his opportunity running out. Finished with the game Candy Crush, Li Anlan switched to the game Buble Jump. In this game, his account level is higher because the game is easier.

The woman was too late in the game. He forgot his purpose of staying silent in this desolate place. If calculated in time on earth, Li Anlan had already spent four hours playing the game. The night is really late.

Li Anlan did not realize that someone was watching him from the bridge over Lake Houchi. The bright radiance from the brightness of Li Anlan's phone caught the person's attention. In his heart, the man asked what light exceeded the brightest candlelight in Dongling.

Li Anlan snatched his phone from the eunuch who helped him last night. In order not to attract any more attention, Li Anlan pressed the off button and put her phone back into her shirt. The eunuch then sat down before him.

"I'm looking for something."
