Eps. 93: Absolute Victory

Long Ji Yu began to realize that these two people were stalling for time. Long Ji Yu drew his sword closer to Li Anlan's neck. But, without her guessing, there was a commotion out there. The sound of clashing weapons echoing filled the air. He turned his eyes outside. Some of his secret subordinates seemed to be fighting with some strangers.

While being off guard, Li Anlan elbowed Long Ji Yu's stomach until the man grimaced and released his sword. Such a good opportunity he used to break away. Li Anlan ran towards Long Ji Man, then stood behind the burly body of the man while peeking forward.

Long Ji Yu growled in annoyance. He was careless as his attention was distracted for a moment. Now, the only option he could make was to go head-to-head with his nephew, fighting each other. Long Ji Yu raised his sword, so did Long Ji Man. This fight will no longer be avoided. Once it happens, it happens. One of the two must either die or surrender.

“Huang An, run!”

“How can? Your Highness, I don't want to run away anymore!”

“Sister, can you fight? Who are they?”

“Ah, it doesn't matter. They are the special forces of the Li.” Nobles family

Li Anlan really did not expect that he had such a strong family army. Her beautiful and graceful sister like a woman turned out to have a great hidden power. This is a good miracle! With the help of the Li Nobles' army, this battle would definitely be won by the king!

Li Anlan was suffocated as Long Ji Yu's body was thrown out from within the room of the Feiyun Mountain Guesthouse. His bowstring was stretched out, then three sharp arrows shot through the air. The sharp arrow hit the assailant's back. Realizing that something was wrong, Long Ji Man turned around. The assailant was already lifelessly sprawled with three arrows stuck in his body.

He glanced at Li Anlan with a hunting breath. The woman saved him once again. Now, he must win this fight. Long Ji Man attacked Long Ji Yu. The two men who are both dashing back to fight against ability.

Right at the moment when Long Ji Yu was about to unsheathe sword into Long Ji Man's chest, an arrow shot out piercing his leg. Long Ji Yu sat down, the sword in his hand just fell down. Seeing the leader kneeling down, Long Ji Yu's army immediately panicked. They ran away to save themselves. The chance to win is gone. It would be useless if they continued to waste energy against the powerful Li Nobles family army.

The Li Nobles' family army then enveloped Long Ji Yu while directing the tip of their sword. The criminal was already surrounded, his wiggle room was already very narrow. Long Ji Man and Li Afan instantly caught Li Anlan's collapsed body. The incision wounds on the woman's body were numerous. His head drooped, his eyes closed tightly. Long Ji Man held his wife's head in his hands. His dirty face turned frantic. The battle was over, but this woman had even lost consciousness.

Not long after, the main army of the kingdom that was ordered scattered by Long Ji Man came. They're late. Long Ji Yu's remaining troops were under the confinement of the Li Nobles family's forces. The soldiers were sorry that they could not help their king fight and had to make the Li Nobles' family army intervene.

“Hold them! The rest follow me back to the palace!”

Long Ji Man carried Li Anlan's body. After riding on the horse, he immediately whipped his horse until it ran down Feiyun Mountain. Li Afan caught up with him from behind. Meanwhile, Long Ji Yu was herded into the palace prison in a wounded state and the entire body was tied to a rope. The army of the Li Nobles family who had no more business immediately dispersed. The remnants of the former chaos of the fight were cleared up by the main forces of the kingdom.

In the backyard of Hongwu Palace, Xiao Biqi, Xie Roulan, Empress Dowager Han Yuemei and her servants were already waiting anxiously. It was almost nightfall, but the king and the noble Empress did not return. Their faces began to display a hint of color as the back gate of the courtyard opened.

Long Ji Man put Li Anlan's weak body on his bed. After having Xie Roulan bring a change of clothes, Long Ji Man changed Li Anlan's clothes with his own hands, just like when the woman had just been lifted in an unconscious state from inside Lake Houchi.
