Chapter 22. Taking Joshua's Heart.

"I smell good" Joshua said, opening his eyes and sniffing the pleasant aroma around him.

Jana covered her smile. He then took the plate on the nightstand and gave it to Joshua. "May you like it" he said.

"Hmmm ... This is the first time, yes, I see there is western cuisine in this house," Joshua chuckled while scooping potatoes sprinkled with grated cheese.

"Watch up on western cuisine. Sorry if it's not good. I've only tried for the first time."

"It's delicious" Joshua said as he nodded, savoring the taste in his tongue. He chews while looking at Jana. Inwardly he wondered, this girl's attitude was a little strange, however, making his feelings warm up. His heart also felt happy.

He was having a painful breakup. When looking with her own eyes, the woman she loves sleeps with another man.

"Thank you, Jana. It's really delicious. I like it." Joshua gave Jana an empty plate.

"It's nice that you like my cooking" said Jana satisfied. More accurately, the girl was moved.

Her first attempt at cooking for her husband, was a success. "From tomorrow you can request the food you want, Baby."

Jana answered Joshua's words with a steady nod. His smile continued to linger on his thin lips.

"Here" Joshua asked as he opened his hands. He allowed Jana to come into his arms.

Jana coyly crawled into the middle of the bed and sat on Joshua's lap while burying her face in her husband's chest.

"Because you have made my stomach full with good food, I give you hugs, and ...." Joshua lifted Jana's head from his chest, then cupped the girls cheeks together. "A kiss" he continued, kissing Jana's lips.

Jana felt her body float. Treated so gently by Joshua, making her the happiest woman in the village of Jeruk Purut.

"You sick, Baby?" jana asked as the two sat facing each other. But Jana's position is still in Joshua's lap.

"Yes, I'm sick," Joshua replied lying. Not the physical pain he felt, but the pain. However, a little bit of Jana had managed to console him.

"Yes, take a break" said Jana, descending from Joshua's lap. However, the man hurriedly held her back.

"You're my medicine, Jana," joshua continued, revealing his sparkling eyes.

Jana chuckles. "You're good at seducing, yeah, now."

"Wooing?" Joshua frowned. Jana uttered a new-sounding word in her ear.

"Yes, seduce. Well, I don't know English." Jana scratched her head.

Joshua let go of his laughter. "Tomorrow I'm looking in the language dictionary" he said.

Jana's lips are throbbing. The girl put the back of her hand on Joshua's forehead, feeling the body temperature of the husband being quite hot. Joshua had a little fever.

"Want to take medicine, Baby? I bought some hot medicine in the stall, huh?" tawar Jana's.

"No need. You stay here, accompany me," stop Joshua while putting Jana's body on the bed. From beside the girl, he looked at her. A sweet face that sank his heart.

"Do you want anything?" ask Jana shyly.

"Something? What's the example like?" Joshua raised his eyebrows.

"As ...." Jana covered her mouth with her palm to hide her coldness.

Jana was sure that both of her cheeks had been reddened like a boiled crab. She confidently offered her body to Joshua, but in fact her husband just wanted to be accompanied.

"Would you like to take a trip to New York?" joshua asked suddenly, making Jana's eyes widen in shock.

"Seriously?"

"Yes. If you want to." Joshua commented a thin smile. It should be Risa whom he invited to visit his home country. However, his relationship with his girlfriend is already on the edge.

Joshua stroked Jana's cheek. The idea of coming home to America was suddenly in his head. Although his past was bad there, however, the heartbreak in the land of people was much more painful. That afternoon, just returning from work, Jana was shocked by the arrival of two policemen who were looking for Joshua. The two policemen had a very difficult conversation with Joshua and his parents. Especially Bu Galuh who put up the body to defend his favorite son-in-law.

Just now that Jana was feeling happy because Joshua was starting to get so attentive with her, her happiness had already been broken back.

"I'll explain later." So Joshua said when the two police officers took her husband forcibly.

"So, Joshua has another woman?" ask Mr. Yanto to Jana who can only sit still without being able to think of anything.
