The Marriage Tragedy Mixed
Chapter 32. Crazy Idea Joshua.

"Sorry, ma'am, can I get in touch, right?" The young man looked towards Jana.

Mira elbowed softly at Jana's stupefied arm. "The message asked for acquaintance, Jan," he whispered.

Jana gasps. "I?" tanyanya.

"Yes, Ma'am," the young man chuckled as he reached out and asked Jana to shake him. "The other brother, too." He took turns shaking Mira's hand. "Jovan" he said, introducing himself.

"I'm Mira. This is my friend, Jana. Mas Jovan, how come you're gonna come back here? Where was his girlfriend left?" tanyanya while chuckling.

"Owh, have come home with his friends. Not a girlfriend, actually. Deket aja," said Jovan as she glanced towards Jana.

The girl was serving the buyer who had just arrived.

"Boyfriend is also not papa, loh, Mas," seduced Mira. He was quite surprised why Jovan had to explain his status to the girl he had brought in just a moment ago.

"Where do you live?" ask Jovan to Jana who has finished serving the buyer.

"Harlem, Mom." Jana covered her smile.

"Ohh." Jovan. "Safe but, right?" he asked with a slightly anxious face. Anyone in Manhattan knows what kind of place Harlem is. The abode of the lower classes, most of whom were immigrants. The area is also famous for many gangster groups who like to make trouble.

"Aman, anyway. Most sometimes bothered by children who like to hang out on the side of the road."

Jana had a pretty warm conversation with Jovan. The young man was friendly and quite pleasant. He even helped Jana and Mira sell.

"Aren't you going to be a dancer, Jan?" asked Jovan while pointing at some dancers who were dancing Balinese dance not far from them.

"I can't dance" Jana replied innocently.

"Masa, anyway? I think your posture and the gurgling movement fit really well into a dancer." Jovan scans Jana's body from head to toe, making the girl a little nervous.

Jana tidied up the kebaya she was wearing because she felt careless to be noticed in such a way by Jovan. Mira who was standing beside him smiled knotfully. Anyone would have guessed that Jovan liked Jana.

"You're from Jogja, huh?" guess Jovan.

"Kok, you know?" Jana wonder. He had not told the young man where he came from.

"Can, there's a little bit of medoknya when you say," jovan cheered. "How many lumps, Auntie?" He said to a buyer who was choosing snacks.

The buyer - a middle-aged woman with a bun high on her head, thawed. "Do you know where Auntie wants to pick spring rolls?"

Jovan scratched his head. "The others don't know his name, Auntie."

"How come you don't know the name of the item being sold, how about, anyway, you?"

Jovan chuckles. "I'm just helping this Sweet Miss, you know," he said, glancing at Jana.

It seems like the two people already know each other. "Just you, Jo," the woman's boyfriend.

"His name was also effort, Auntie," jovan cheered wrongly.

"It's ten, yeah, Jo."

"Well, which apem, huh, Jan?" jovan asked with a pale face.

Jana giggles at Jovan's funny-looking behavior. "This one," pointed it at the brown round cake.

"No use of banana leaves, yes, unfortunately," slurried the middle-aged woman.

"Yes, Mom, nothing." Jana chimed in while helping Jovan wrap the apem in paper.

"Cicipin one, Aunt. Tasty, you know," jovan chirped.

The woman followed Jovan's advice and tasted the chocolate cake. He nodded, a sign of agreeing with what the young man said.

"Where, Jan? I'm a good fit, right, so your marketing?" jovan asked with a chuckle, as soon as the buyer had passed.

Jana also chuckled. "But I can't afford it."

"Pay for dinner, will you?"

"You, no?" repeat Jovan.

"Enmmm ...." Jana stroked his nape. He was confused how to refuse.

Looking at the hesitant Jana, Jovan could already guess that the girl was about to reject him. "Yes, no, deh. Pay your number, how?" He took the phone in his trouser pocket. Tinkering with it for a while, then thrusting it at Jana.

"May, deh," said Jana while taking the phone from Jovan's hand and writing down her phone number. Counting increases the relation. Who knows, it will be useful, Jana thought.

"Thank you, yes," said Jovan happily. He glanced at Jana's shady face just a moment ago; the first he saw it, attracted him.

Until late afternoon, Jovan was still at home helping Jana and Mira spend her merchandise. And Jana felt, Jovan is a very pleasant person. Friendly, well, though he is convinced, Jovan comes from a wealthy family.

Evidently, after the event, Jovan offered Jana and Mira to drive them home, with a car that was classified as luxurious and expensive for the size of Manhattan. However, Jana refused. It is impossible for her to be ushered in by a man, even if it is just an ordinary friend.

Joshua sat in the living room that was fused with the kitchen and was only limited by a small buffet, while smoking his cigarette. He had been waiting for Jana's return two hours ago.

The girl finally showed up, carrying two boxes of food. The girl's smile flinched as she looked at Joshua. "Sorry, I'm a little late coming home. It was to stop by where Mira used to be," he said as he put food on the table.

"It's okay." Joshua replied in a flat tone of voice.

"I bought you dinner."

Joshua nodded as he grabbed the food box given by Jana. "Clearly talk? You got any luck?" tanyakanya.

"Yes, smoothly. Fortunately good. There was even a new friend who helped with the sale."

"I know."

Jana frowned. "meaning?"

"Yes, I know you have a new acquaintance. Looks like he's pretty good."

"W-you're coming, Baby?" tanya Jana stamped.

Joshua pulled the corner of his lips. "Just for a minute."

"Why not see me?"

"I don't want to disturb. Later, you can't chat freely with your new friend?"

"M-sorry, Baby. I'm just being friendly."

Joshua chewed on the burito pieces greedily. "I don't mind."

"You mean, don't mind me having a boy friend?"

Joshua raised his hand and said, "Yes. You're acquainted with men."

"Friends only, really, Baby. I have no intention. To add to the relationship," explained Jana. He could not guess what Joshua thought of his familiarity with Jovan. However, he felt a little worried. He was afraid that Joshua was thinking things to him.

"I told you I don't mind" Joshua said. "I want to say something to you too."

"What, Baby?" ask Jana curiously.

"I want to make it clear that our relationship is an open relationship."

Jana frowned again. "Open relationships? I don't know what that means."

Joshua pulled the corner of his lips. "That means you can have a special relationship with other men, as well as with me."

Jana rounded her eyes. He was really surprised to hear the words of Joshua that he never thought.

"And I can also have a special relationship with any woman I want," said Joshua, further surprising Jana.
