The Marriage Tragedy Mixed
Chapter 36. Seduced Man Husband

Jana is forced to borrow money from Mira to send her mother. Fortunately, his best friend did not mind. This month, Jana survived. Just how did he return the money to Mira.

That afternoon, Jana attends a regular meeting of Melati's group at the home of one of its members. Atmini; women in their thirties, with a mediocre appearance from Kebumen.

Atmini showed off her sizeable house in a residential complex on the outskirts of Manhattan. Atmini and her husband, James, a middle-aged man in his sixties, have no children. The house was only inhabited by two people.

Although Atmini was originally from a poor village and family, thanks to James, her husband, now the Atmini lifestyle is like a high-class woman who is always surrounded with branded goods that of course the price is exorbitant.

That makes Atmini a little cocky. He always looked down on the people around him. Especially Jana, who is still fairly new to the Melati group.

"Mbak Atmi, it should be a snack from Jana aja. He's got a message, you know." Yola, flicking her neatly dyed hair, checked the small food on the table. Everything was foreign-looking food in Jana's eyes.

"Udah knows. But, what does Jana make? Indo, right? I don't really like, anyway, Indo snacks. It does not fit on my tongue" said Atmini with lips that he moves in such a way, following the intonation of his voice that seemed demeaning. His glance at Jana looks cynical.

"Yes, Miss Atmi. Indonesian Food. Indonesian cuisine can also be ordered," said Jana.

"Where are you buying ingredients?" ask Atmini.

"There's a friend who sells materials online, Ma'am."

"Oowh, I don't think you bought it in the Korean Market. I'm going to ask, is your capital big?"

Jana grimacing. He was lazy to chimed in the arrogance of women with teeth that are a little slender.

"You don't have to buy it in Korean Market, Atmi. It could be in China Town." A woman named Ratna chimed in while chewing on a piece of Nachos.

"Dirty is China Town. Not hygienic," Atmini.

"The name also wants to make a sale, Jeng. Time yes the raw materials are expensive, anyway?" nike chirps, throwing smiles at the other women in the room.

"If the raw materials are of high quality, automatically the selling price is also expensive." Atmini does not lose.

The women were lip-splitting each other. They have memorized the arrogant character of Atmini that exorbitant. Yola whispered to Jana, asking the girl to say yes to all of Atmini's words. Let the woman be happy and fly more, he said.

The gathering moved to the back garden of the house which was quite spacious. Complete with a medium-size swimming pool, swings, and Bougenville trees whose leaves are missing and whose stems are covered in thin snow.

Jana sat on a long bench near the back door, next to a cypress tree that was also covered in thin snow. He noticed the women joking next to the pool.

He noticed those cheerful faces. They all seem to enjoy life. Without burden of course. Perhaps, all their needs have been met by husbands. They just relax.

There was envy in Jana's heart. However, he immediately brushed it off and threw it away. Whatever his circumstances, he should always be grateful.

"I just saw you in Melati's group."

The voice beside him scattered his daydream. A middle-aged man had been sitting beside him. Of course, Jana could already guess, this man was James, the husband of Atmini, whom the woman had always been proud of at every turn.

"Yes, sir." Jana answered nervously. The gaze of the man whose hair was partially bleached was so intensely scanning his entire body. Makes Jana feel careless on her own.

"Call James." The man smiled as he extended his hand asking to shake hands with Jana.

Jana welcomes James's hand. The man clasped his hand for a moment. To the extent that, Jana had trouble pulling her own hand.

"You're so young, aren't you? Well-favoured. Interesting," praised James with a sharp eye piercing Jana's heart niche.

"Thank you, Sir .. emmm ... James." Jana was completely wrongly looked at in such a way. Not because his chest was pounding like when Joshua looked at him, but he felt uncomfortable with the look of James' eyes that seemed flirtatious.

"Harlem."

"Harlems? You have no problem living there?" James showed a worried look. "The area is not very safe."

"My husband and I could only afford to rent a small apartment there. Because the rental price is still quite cheap," explained Jana.

James nodded. "What's your name?"

"Jana, Jana Javernick." There was a sense of calm in his heart, while pinning the surname Joshua behind his name.

"Jana, what a name. I like your name."

Jana gave a thin smile. He didn't know what to say to the man.

"Where do you work?"

"I have a small catering business with a friend of mine."

"Oh, can you cook?" asked James with a glowing face.

"Little bit. Still learning, Sir .. emm ... James," Jana replied as she cleared her throat once.

"It's nice to meet you, Jana. I watched you from the first time you came." James gave a big smile. Showing his neat teeth.

Jana grimacing. "It's good to see you too, James" he said.

James looked at her with an intense look. Until Atmini came to cut off James's eyes on Jana.

"Baby, why are you here?" ask Atmini in slightly messy English.

"I'm talking to Jana." James answered his wife casually.

Atmini snorted angrily while glancing cynically at Jana. "Why are you here alone?" ask her to Jana suspiciously. In her mind, Jana deliberately lured James to approach her. Which woman doesn't want to be around James. He's handsome, rich. Moreover, girls like Jana, who still have to hit the cost of his life in Manhattan.

"What the hell, Mom."

"Alah, just for some reason" said Atmini with pursed lips. She wanted to directly accuse Jana of approaching her husband, however, it was not until the heart escaped those words from her mouth.

And Jana of course can guess the contents of Atmini's head. The woman was building a fortress in front of her husband, so that no woman could come near.

Reasonable. So does Jana's reaction, if Joshua deliberately approached a woman, even if just chatting. He will protect what is his.

"Jana, do you want to take a ride with me or take the subway?" yola asked as Melati's group gathering ended a few hours later. Only Yola still thought of him as a friend in the group. Other women never considered her equal.

"I took the subway, Ma'am," Jana refused. He certainly did not want to trouble Yola. Because their homes are not in the same direction.

Just as Jana was about to pass, Atmini suddenly pulled her arm. "You don't macem with my husband, do you?!" threatening Jana, made the girl stupefied.
