The Marriage Tragedy Mixed
Chapters 37. Joshua Workplace.

In the middle of the night Jana wakes up, hearing a noise in the bathroom. He turned to his left side, and found Joshua not beside him. He guessed, who made the noise was Joshua who was in the bathroom.

A while later Jana heard a long breath followed by the sound of a faucet being turned on. Then, a moment later, Joshua emerged from behind the bathroom door.

"Why awake?" ask Joshua. "Am I too noisy?"

Jana shakes. "You haven't slept?"

"Not yet." Joshua opened the wardrobe and picked up the shirt and trousers. Then he grabbed the thick coat hanging behind the door.

"Where are you going?" ask Jana. It was midnight and Joshua was about to go out of nowhere.

"There's business." Joshua tied up his blond hair that had started to lengthen.

"That night?"

"I want to work!" Joshua's voice was slightly raised.

"Work nights like this?"

Joshua snorted bitterly. "Indeed my work is erratic."

"I want to come." Jana ventured to say those words.

"You're kidding me, huh? What's coming for?"

"I just want to know what you're doing, Baby."

Joshua stroked his head while looking at the ceiling of the room. Then, he stared intently at Jana. "You wanna come? Come on!" his challenge.

To be honest, Jana was worried. However, he steeled his heart to agree to the invitation; joshua's challenge. "Yes" he said.

It seems Joshua is a little sorry to challenge Jana to come with him. Joshua thought, by bullying her, Jana would undo her intention to go along with him. It's actually the opposite.

"Wear your coat" Joshua asked, throwing Jana's coat at the girl. Then he stepped out of the room. Jana follows him after he changes clothes and covers him with a thick coat.

At midnight, Jana follows Joshua on foot a few kilos to the nearest underground station. The cold air made him shiver occasionally. Because, his thick coat seemed unable to dispel the cold night in the piercing winter.

In the subway, Jana sits next to Joshua. Inside the carriage were only the two of them and two sleepy men and women.

"Where are we going?" ask Jana.

"Follow it out." Joshua chimed. "You want to come, right?"

Jana nodded. Joshua will take him out of nowhere. A few minutes later, the train stops and Jana follows Joshua and continues on foot.

They are already in front of a club that still looks crowded. The sound of music was faintly heard from inside there.

"It's discotheque?" jana asked innocently.

"Yes," replied Joshua in short. He stepped inside the club after talking to two big guards.

"You work here?" jana asked, half-screaming as her voice was immersed in the stomping music. Jana circulated the view to all corners of the crowded room by club visitors who were enjoying the night with fun. Music and alcohol, being the perfect blend in such a place.

"Hi, Pretty." The greeting of a black man makes Jana close herself to Joshua. There were even some people who wanted to touch his hands. Makes Jana's chest flutter.

"Don't be surprised, huh?" kekeh Joshua's.

"You, what, working in a gini-rich place, Baby?" ask Jana in astonishment.

"Yes, that's it." Joshua pulled the corner of his lips. He was happy to have made Jana regret having accepted his challenge.

Joshua went into a room at the end of the corridor. Inside there, a middle-aged man had been waiting for him. And Jana's eyes suddenly widened when she realized that the man wearing the neat and expensive suit was James, Atmini's husband. On the back of his right and left, stood two well-built guards.

James was no less surprised to see Jana. However, the man seemed to be trying to cover up his surprise by acting as clean as possible.

"Call, Mr. Wilson," said Joshua, shaking James' hand.

"Pulp. Why did you come with Javernic?" asked James while frowning.

"Well, I just remembered your last name as well as Javernick. Don't tell me you're his wife?"

Joshua is shocked to learn that James Wilson knows Jana. "Do you know each other?" tanyanya.

"I just met Jana this afternoon."

Joshua stroked his chin. "Where did you meet Jana, Mr. Wilson?"

"In my house." James smiled in anguish.

"Owh ...." Joshua did not want to ask further. He tells Jana to sit a little away from him and James, because he will discuss business with the man.

Jana complies with Joshua's request. He moved his seat a little away. And Jana was trying to hear what her husband was talking about with the man. However, they slow down the sound so that Jana is not so able to hear it.

He decided to sit down while waiting for Joshua to finish. Every now and then he met a glance with James who immediately threw a flirtatious smile at him.

Joshua was in a conversation with James for a long time. Every now and then, Jana looked at Joshua's tense face, as James was saying something. Either they were arguing or indeed the way they were discussing was like that.

"So, we've got a deal?" ask James. This time he made a little sound.

"Of course, Mr. Wilson." Joshua smiled as he glanced at Jana.

Once again James threw a flirtatious look at Jana, making the girl feel so uneasy. For some reason the man's gaze made his romantic fur bristle.

Finally, after almost two hours, Joshua invited Jana out of the room. However, there is one sentence James makes Jana wonder in the heart, when Joshua say goodbye to the man.

"Just calm. High value." As James said, patting Joshua on the shoulder.

Unanswered questions mill about Jana's mind. Because, James said the sentence while glancing at him, with a smile that Jana could not understand.

Joshua did not take Jana home. He takes Jana to a park behind a fairly quiet club. Although quiet, the lights in the park were quite bright.

Joshua's face looked happy. He no longer looks upset. "Can I ask you something?" ask her to Jana. Both of them are now sitting on a long bench.

"What, Josh?" Jana's chest suddenly thumped. He felt Joshua would ask for something that would not be very difficult for him to fulfill.

"That was James Wilson. He's a rich man. A few times doing business with me."

"Continue?"

James grabbed Jana's palm and grasped it tightly. "We'll have a lot of money, if we accept the offer."

"We? You mean I'm the same as you?" Jana swallowed the saliva with great difficulty.

Joshua nodded. He looked at Jana.

"What did he ask for, Josh?" ask Jana curiously.

"He asked for you."
