Joshua frowned when he found a large white envelope inside his bedroom desk drawer. He had intended to find a shaving blade for shaving, but apparently the unfamiliar-looking envelope caught his attention.
What made her so curious was, the logo on the right side of the envelope. New York Medical Center, as read by him.
He slowly opened the contents of the envelope and read it carefully. His eyes are perfectly round. Inside the piece of paper contains a description of the patient's history and receipt from a pharmacy. Risa Wahyuningtyas, the name of the patient listed there.
The date on the left corner of the paper shows that Risa to the hospital listed more than a month ago. That is, before they officially marry.
And what makes Joshua surprised instead of playing is, when reading the information in the paper. That Risa declared a miscarriage.
That is, when Joshua married Risa, the woman was no longer pregnant. The woman lied to him. He married Risa because he wanted to be responsible for the child he contained.
His chest rumbled withstanding such overflowing anger. Towards the wedding, Joshua was already struck by turmoil due to the feeling of doubt that was so great. He was forced to forget his feelings for Jana, who at that time began to grow, in order to account for his actions to Risa. However, it turns out that Risa lied to him.
Joshua waited for Risa to come home from her friend, Ningsih, to demand an explanation for this. He tried to refrain from exploding in front of his wife.
"Why do you want, anyway? How is that?" risa asked as she had just arrived at the apartment.
"Sit. I want to talk!" joshua's orders, slightly raised his tone.
"Gee! What, the hell, honey?" asked Risa who was astonished to see Joshua's sinister attitude. "Don't be fierce with pregnant women, dong," he said.
"Pregnant? You pregnant?"
Risa frowned. "Yes, get pregnant, how, anyway?"
Joshua hissing. He picked up the envelope he had hidden behind his back, then slammed it on the table. "It's yours, right? You lied to me!"
Risa is like being struck by lightning in broad daylight. The first thing he thought about was how careless he was to keep the envelope in the desk drawer. He did not think Joshua would open the drawer, because Joshua usually never opened it.
"You're not pregnant, are you?" insist Joshua.
"Mmm .. a-I, i-yes, I miscarried." Risa swallowed the saliva with great difficulty. Joshua's handsome face that had now turned sinister made him a little frightened.
"Why are you lying to me?"
"Because .. I'm afraid you won't marry me."
"But why lie?"
"I told you the reason. Besides, you married me just because I'm pregnant, is that it?" Now it was Risa's turn to demand an answer. The woman managed to turn things around. "Aren't you in love with me anymore, Josh? What if you forget?"
Joshua does not love Risa. However, Joshua took a lot of time to think about whether to marry Risa or stay with Jana. His relationship with Risa, after a few weeks the woman was in this country, was only filled with debate and also quarrels.
Risa becomes so possessive of him, wanting to have him completely, while he is still tied to marriage with Jana. At the same time, a sense of affection and comfort begins to grow in Joshua's heart for Jana.
His regret had wasted the girl as good as Jana, starting to fill his heart space every day. Joshua was still confused and needed time to think.
"Where are you going?!" risa asked as Joshua moved from his seat and walked towards the apartment door.
"I'm gonna get some fresh air."
"Would you like to meet Jana? You want to turn him back on?"
Joshua shook his hand as he opened the door and passed. He did not care about Risa's call asking him not to go.

Scott, who was sitting next to her, was astonished to see her best friend look agitated.
"Is there a problem?" ask Scott to start the conversation.
"Risa lied to me" Joshua said, pouring the contents of a whiskey bottle into his catchphrase.
"Why him?"
"He miscarried. Before we got married."
"Then why? Pregnant or not, you're going to marry her, aren't you?"
Joshua exhaled his coarse breath. "At that time I was thinking of choosing Risa or Jana. Since Risa is pregnant, I chose Risa. But, my feelings for Jana started to grow. You understand what I mean, don't you?"
Scott chuckled at Joshua's naive-sounding words. "You don't know what you got until you lost it," his chuckle mimicked an expression.
"Damn it!" maki Joshua is upset. That phrase was the most suitable for him.
"Here you go, accept whatever you choose, Josh," Scott said, pouring the contents of a whiskey bottle into their sloki.
"The problem is, Risa is always looking for material to argue."
"Don't you say he's always been like that?"
"Yeah." Joshua recognized Risa's habits from long ago. Hard-headed, happy conflict, and at will. To be honest, he wondered to himself. What made him fall in love with that woman. Although Risa is not always bad, however, her stubbornness sometimes makes her tired.
"Why did you fall in love with her?" ask Scott.
"Eitherway. He's wild in bed, maybe," brother Joshua.
Scott raised both hands in surrender. If the answer is like that, then of course almost every man likes a wild woman in bed.
"He was the first person I met in Indonesia, when I had nothing."
"Is that some kind of debt?"
Joshua raised his shoulders. "Maybe."
"Then, what are you going to do now? Stuck with? Or are you going to divorce her and chase Jana back?"
"So you hate me."
Scott laughed at his best friend's words. "Of course he hates you, Josh. There is no reason not to hate you. You deserve it."
"I know, I know." Joshua resigned. He had indeed wasted Jana. When Jana left, her heart felt empty. Sweet Jana, Jana who always complies with her requests, Jana who is willing to sacrifice to save herself, Jana who is too good for a jerk like herself.
Alcohol makes Joshua even worse at the thought of how stupid he is. Makes her miss Jana even more. Should he obey his will to meet the girl tonight.
Joshua is unable to resist his steps towards Jana's apartment in Harlem. His legs seemed to have a brain of their own, moving to bring his body to the front of the gray-painted door.
His hand slowly knocked him. There was no answer from inside for a while. However, Joshua patiently waited until the door in front of him opened and the figure of the sweet girl he longed for appeared.
His waiting was not in vain. Slowly the door opened, and the figure appeared, with a distinctive face waking up her adorable sleep.
