"Truly, Pharaoh had done mischief in the earth and divided its people, he oppressed a section of them (Bani Israel), he slaughtered their sons and let their daughters live," the Word of Allah in Al-Qasas 4.
The mother of Moses, Yukabad, kept her pregnancy a secret from the royal soldiers. After giving birth, Yukabad also hid little Moses in unknown places.
One day, God commanded Yukabad to send Moses to the Nile. God promised to restore Moses and make him an apostle.
Downstream of the river, Pharaoh's wife found Moses clean and radiant. Moses was taken by the Pharaoh's family.
"(He) is an eye-cooler to me and to you. Do not kill him, may he benefit us or we take him as a son" said Pharaoh's wife.

God also showed Moses in his miracle that he could turn the staff into a serpent and a glowing chest.
"Put your hands around your neck, she will come out white (light) without blemish, and put your hands on your chest when frightened. These are the two miracles of your Lord (to which you will show) to Pharaoh and his princes" the Quran says in verse 32.

By Allah's permission, Moses met Aaron who was also made a prophet. Moses and Aaron began to warn Pharaoh and his followers.
However, no one believed in Moses and his miracles as a sign of God's power. Pharaohs called Moses a game of magic.
"This is just fabricated magic, and we have never heard (which is like) this of our ancestors" the pagans said.
Pharaoh then challenged Moses and Aaron against the sorcerers of his kingdom. When all the sorcerers gathered, Moses asked them to bring out all the skills they had.
They threw sticks that turned into snakes. Moses threw the rod he had. The wand turned into a huge snake that ate the magi's snakes.
All the sorcerers then submitted and acknowledged the truth of the Prophet Moses AS. However, Pharaoh still did not believe and became even more angry with Moses.
"Why did you believe him before I gave you permission? Verily this is a ruse which you have planned in this city, to drive out its inhabitants. Later you will know (due to this action). I will certainly cut off your hands and legs crossed (right hand and left foot or vice versa), then I will crucify you all," said Pharaoh, according to Al-Araf 123-124.
God inflicted various punishments on Pharaoh such as a long dry season that caused famine. God also poured typhoons, locusts, fleas, frogs, and blood on Pharaoh.

When Moses came to the land and Pharaoh was still in the sea, God restored the sea as it was. Pharaoh and his soldiers drowned at the bottom of the sea.
"Then We tortured him (Pharaoh) and his army, and threw them into the sea. Then see how the end of the unjust will be" says Allah's letter of Al-Qasas verse 40.
When Pharaoh almost drowned, he said that he was among those who believed in God. However, confession at the end of life is not accepted by God.
