Chapter 5 - Ares

Police Station Z

The police station room for the Criminal Crimes Murder Case looks tense today.

Mr. Hendra, the bespectacled police officer who is the team leader of the Criminal Crimes Case Murder department is leading the meeting on the murder case of Zues Anthony and Hefasius Antony.

Mr. Hendra, who is a senior and has a lot of experience, has assigned his men, Mr. Budi, Mr. Hari and Ms. Linda to find information about Anthony's family and all the servants who work in the family.

They have even printed photos of every member and waiter. Sticking it to the blackboard and writing alibi captions that some people have whose photos are plastered on the board.

“How did the fingerprint report result on the gun that the suspect used?” ask Mr. Hendra.

“Forensic results for fingerprints, the type of gun and bullet that are still in the gun and the bullet in the body of the victim, will come out at the earliest in a week, no later than two weeks, Sir. The forensic department is now again busy once, so all cases must queue one by one,” replied Mr. Budi.

“Good. While waiting for the results, please complete the alibi description for some people who still have not given information. Ares Anthony, Hera Hudiono, driver and waiter in Batu city,”, said Mr. Hendra.

“Ares Anthony is on his way back to Indonesia, sir. While Hera Hudiono has not been able to contact us until now. We are still trying to find his whereabouts,” said Mr. Budi.

“Good. Budi, you take care of Ares Anthony and Hera Hudiono. Hari and Linda go to Batu city and collect all the information that helps the investigation.”

“Siap, sir,” said the three of them compactly, then disperse and immediately work on their superior orders.

Ares Anthony, 27 years old, has arrived at the Surabaya city airport with his Secretary who works at the M state branch, Robert. Robert had already gotten all of Ares's briefcase and hers, then immediately placed it on the trolley and pushed it, walking following Mr. Ares out of the S city airport.

A car driven by Hades Group's main secretary, Secretary David, has come to pick up his master. Ares Anthony and Robert immediately headed to the car after seeing a wave of David's hand from a distance. Ares got straight into a comfortable car, while two of his secretaries stuffed the suitcase into the trunk of the car. After a while, David and Robert got into the car.

“Welcome, Mr. Ares. Where are our next goals, sir? Home to Hades Mansion or to Hades Hotel?” ask David.

“Where is Papa Zeus' funeral?” ask Ares.

“Your grandfather, Mr. Mark (Grandfather Ares of Papa Zeus' side) decided to immerse Mr. Zeus and Mr. Hefasius together in the Pagoda in the Hospital complex. Then we immediately slide there,” said David immediately forward his car.

Ares closed his eyes and tried to set his heart. The beautiful memories and warmth of Papa Zeus appeared in his mind. Papa Zeus loved her more than his mother, Mama Hera. It is also very different from the affection of his Grandfather, Papa Hades.

While the memory of Hefasius, his brother, was empty altogether. Ares knew nothing of Hefasius, for they hardly met until death. Ares lived with Papa Hades since Hefasius was born, and Mama Heralah took care of Hefasius in Canada, not in Indonesia.  

Ares breathed heavily.

Ares still remembers the promise of Papa Zeus who had not been kept when he was 8 years old, which was to immediately pick him up, take him home and live together in the house of Papa Zeus, who was the father of Zeus, if he's always been a good boy to his birth father, Papa Hades.

As a child, he never knew what Papa Hades had done to take himself out of the hands of Papa Zeus.

Papa Hades pressured Papa Zeus, bought a large share in the Greek Kingdom Group at a high price, then threatened Papa Zeus to remove him from the position of the Chairman of the Greek Kingdom group, if Papa Zeus kept Ares to stay at Papa Zeus' house.

At first, Papa Zeus did not care about the threat of Papa Hades, but when Opa Julius (his grandfather from the side of Mama) was dying and begged Papa Zeus to release Ares and give it to Papa Hades, finally, Papa Zeus obeyed the wishes of Opa Julius.

Ares also finally finds out that Papa Zeus is not his real father. Papa Zeus is only Papa in Ares' birth certificate, but not a drop of blood and a lump of Papa Zeus' flesh is in Ares. Little Ares could not understand everything, but with the passage of time and his age increased, over time Ares can understand it.

Actually Papa Hades is also not a cruel and evil papa, only he is too cold and shows less love in front of his biological son. In contrast to Papa Zeus who is always friendly, warm and gives many gifts to encourage him to study or when he inscribes his proud achievements.

Papa Zeus, now I'm the one who's gonna come visit you because you're a no-place to come get me home. Rest in peace and may the Lord receive you by His side.

The car stopped at the Pagoda security station. The entrance area is commonly used for a nursery in the Hospital complex. This area does not have a high-rise pagoda building, but more like a row of white Roman-style pavilions with large pillars in front of the door, has an assortment of building size, and, there are small, medium and very large. Separated by beautiful gardens and very fine paved roads.

“Pavilion where is Lord Zeus Anthony, sir?" david asked the security guard.

“Nomer seven, Sir. The big white building in the middle of it" said the security guard, pointing to a pavilion.

“Good, thank you, Sir,” said David.

The car moved back and then parked near Pavilion number seven.

“You guys just wait here. I will enter,” said Ares firmly.

“Good, Sir,” says two Ares Secretaries compact.

Ares got out of the car and went into the building. The building was crowded with mourners, all dressed in black, and in line to pray in front of the coffins of Papa Zeus and His brother Hefasius. The room pavilion number seven is also decorated with many attractive flowers, candles and decorative lights, so the atmosphere of the room is not grim and sad. Wreaths also appear neatly lined up along the road from where his car is parked towards the pavilion.

Ares is looking for Opa Mark. Opa Mark, who has begun to age in his 70s, is replying to the respect of mourners who come. Ares does not see Oma Cleo (her grandmother on the side of Papa Zeus) next to Opa Mark, meaning Oma Cleo is still in the hospital, it has not been allowed to come to the nursery of his son and grandson because he has just had surgery.

And hey... Who's the girl in the wheelchair next to Opa Mark? I seem to know the girl, even though she has swollen eyes and my eyes are sad like that. Ares is trying to remember what the girl's name is. The girl was once in his heart, having beautiful memories with him.

Sister Pearl...

Isn't that girl Pearl? His legion playmate when he was at the villa, when he was 6 years old? How did 10-year-old Kak Mutiara above me look so young and sit in a wheelchair?

Ares then approached Opa Mark, hugged him, said condolences and continued to watch the girl after she sat down on the chair with the other mourners.
