Chapter 8 - Finding Hera

The Flash Back On

Budi returned from the meeting room, sat behind his desk and immediately called a colleague, Adi in the Department of Digital Crime whose job is to help police investigation Z engaged in communication and visualization.

“Hai, Di... Can you help check this phone number? Numbers 081-xxx-xxx and 081-yyyy-yyy. Please provide a list of incoming and outgoing calls for this number. Please check where the number 081-xxx-xxx is now located? Let me know as soon as you've finished working on it.”

“Ready, Bud. Wait another 10 minutes and the report will be released soon" Adi replied.

“Still, Di,” says Budi.

“Bud, are the data you requested related to the murder case you're dealing with right now? Is the murder case of the Greek owner Kingdom Group?" ask Adi curious.

“This case is splashy on social media, Bud. It seems like there are journalists who know, write it down and then put it on social media. Two people died in the house, Zeus Anthony and Hefasius Anthony. Hefasius was apparently very famous on social media, Bud. His handsome face and luxurious life made him a famous Selebgram. Many people look forward to the police's performance to uncover this murder case" said Adi.

“Ouw..," said Budi again.

“Bud, I've printed the data. I'll ask my junior to drive you to your room right now" Adi said.

“Ok, thanks, Di," said Budi.

Budi hung up on her.

Budi then retrieved the files of Hefasius Anthony files on his desk. Read it again more carefully. The inscription in the file indicates that Hefasius was a handsome young man but his legs were deformed and his path was somewhat lame, because when Hefasius was a child, he had a high fever. Budi then opened his social media, typed the name Hefasius Anthony and pressed the search button. There are three names of accounts on Hefasisus Anthony social media that appear. Budi log into the first account, but everything contains a photo of the scenery.

Hefasius was indeed very great, he was good at hiding his weaknesses and deceiving many people with just a few photos. People consider him perfect, handsome and rich, even though he has a physical disability since childhood that makes him an arrogant young man, a drunkard, a gambler with an explosive temper.

Budi shook his head. Then Budi checked again the financial statements of Hefasisus. This young man has many loans and some assets provided by his parents have been used as collateral for his debt in the bank. This man had a severe financial crisis, but had not stopped fiddling and remained in a luxurious lifestyle.

A Junior Police Department Digital Crime officer walks into his room and gives Hera and Hefasisus a list of phone calls. Take it and say thank you. Then Junior Police left him. Check the list immediately.

On that list Hera doesn't have much history of incoming and outgoing phone calls. The phone number on the list is just the phone number of the restaurant. Hefasius, however, only calls out to restaurants. Then Budi checked the location of Hera's last signal, Hades Hotel, the day after the incident. And the last cell phone signal Hefasius was on at Zeus' house, after the crime.

Budi decided to go to Hades Hotel and check the whereabouts of Hera further. He took his jacket, the car keys and immediately stepped out of the room towards the car park. Driving his car to the Hades Hotel. A little while later, Budi arrived at Hades Hotel, a hotel building that had been completed renovated into a new building that was more beautiful and magnificent, towering with a very beautiful and spacious circular shaped garden at the front of the hotel. This hotel has 5 stars. Budi immediately headed to the hotel lobby after parking his car near the park.

The hotel lobby is very crowded. Several hotel guests were busy passing by in the hotel's spacious lobby decorated with luxurious interiors. Make Budi amazed and amazed. Budi then headed to the receptionist table in the middle of the lobby, showing his identity as a police officer to ask for information about Hera.

“Mrs Hera Hudiono checked out of our hotel this morning, sir," the Receptionist Staff said kindly.

They arrive in the space responsible for the Hades Hotel cctv. A room with many monitor screens lined up on the wall. I don't know how many cctv points are installed in this hotel. Budi did not ask further.

The Receptionist staff then opened the door of the room and entered, approaching the head of the team in charge of the room. Follow him from behind.

“Pak Amir, this Mr. is a Z police officer who wants to see the cctv footage in the lobby around 8 am today. Please help, Mr. Amir," said the Receptionist Staff politely.

Mr. Amir nodded and looked for the cctv video footage the Receptionist Staff had requested. Video footage of the cctv in the lobby at 8 am was immediately played.

The video shows a woman taking care of the check out process at the receptionist desk while carrying a suitcase. He wore sunglasses and a hat that was wide enough to cover half of his face.

“This is Mrs Hera, sir," said a Receptionist staff who recognized the woman on video as a VVIP Hades Hotel guest who should be well served and courteous.

"You sure?" ask the Receptionist.

"Yes, all the Receptionist Staff who work here know the face of Mrs Hera, because she is the mother of the owner of the hotel where we work, sir," replied the Receptionist Staff

And from the video, after checking out Hera immediately came out of the hotel lobby alone, not picked up or approached by others.

Mr. Amir then opened a video recording of the outside of the hotel lobby and we saw Hera coming out of the hotel on foot towards the highway. After that it disappeared. Mr. Amir was silent.

“Pak Amir, is there still a cctv video recording that shows where Hera went after from the hotel?" ask again.

Mr. Amir shook his head.

“CCTV we just got here, sir. We don't have a cctv that leads to the highway" Mr Amir said.

“Alright, thank you all. Then excuse me first," said Budi.

Budi immediately returned to the Z police station and headed to Adi's room. She asks Adi to help her show her a cctv video on the street in front of the Hades Hotel. From the video, Hera appears to walk her suitcase into a restaurant. And hasn't been out of the restaurant until now.

Budi immediately found out the name of the restaurant and headed to the restaurant as soon as possible after saying a lot of thanks to Adi.

Taklupa Budi asked Adi to keep monitoring the cctv which showed the situation of the street in front of the restaurant at this time, because of the sudden worry of Hera coming out of the restaurant while Budi was on his way to the restaurant. And asked Adi to preach it if he saw Hera out of the restaurant before Budi arrived at the restaurant. “At 8 am our restaurant is not yet operational, sir. New restaurant waiters arrive around 9am to clean up and prepare to open the restaurant. So, I'm sorry we don't know, how the lady who meant it, was able to enter our restaurant at 8 am" said the restaurant owner and was reassured by all the waiters who were there that day.
