Ch. 28:The Witch of the Gial Valley

The thick fog enveloped the area around causing the scenery that existed in the depths of the valley to be invisible.

"Are we going to be able to arrive the next day?"

"Yes. Most likely it will be a long day for us to walk."

Amidst the fog that engulfed the valley region, several figures could be seen at a glance through their respective clothes.

Those who walked in the depths of the fog were undaunted and fearful in overcoming the journey towards Lost Town that would arrive the next day.

Do you feel it, Brother Regard?

Yeah, I feel it.

Reita who was clearly looking at him made Regard nod at his gaze earlier.

Followed by [Mind Reading] who had crossed his head, Regard really knew that Reita was aware of it.

Unlike Reita, Shilphonia and the others had not realized at all what would await them behind the thick fog that could not be removed.

"Stop!"

Friya's raised hand stopped them from continuing on.

Wondering to himself, Regard believes that Friya is also aware of what is unusual in front of them behind the thick fog that exists.

"This smell..."

Looking to his side, Regard smiled at Fenrir's keen sense of smell to be able to detect the strong smell of what was in front of them.

"Friends, we'll move forward after I tell you my plan."

"Yes." Yeah."

Understanding the situation, making decisions, and acting as best as possible, it was a thought that Regard would use when meeting him later.

Overall, Regard knew what awaited him but he was unlikely to act rashly in the face of it. Instead, he will as much as possible understand certain conditions and situations in order to know how far he is able to survive.

Smiling at their answer, Regard was satisfied that he had come up with his new idea.

Continuing the journey, they endlessly continue to be vigilant behind the thick fog that most likely there are monsters and demons waiting for them to be caught off guard.

"Yes you finally arrived, man."

On top of a large tree branch, a long pink haired girl who was eating a lollipop in her mouth, jumped down to the surface and smiled at their presence.

He is really strong.

Sensing the large amount of mana before Regard, the girl simply smiled as she looked at the body of Regard from top to bottom thoroughly.

"I wonder if you are really strong or not?"

Just as the words were resolved, the girl flicked her finger.

The people around Regard, all of them were unable to move. Never mind moving, which ones in their bodies cannot be removed which means they are attacked by unexpected situations, unless Fenrir knows what happened.

He who quickly exhaled a strong wind to protect himself caused some transparent tentacles to be seen and fell to the ground into pieces of meat.

"I thought so."

In Regard's keen sense of smell, he could smell anything around him at a distance like Fenrir.

Around them, there were numerous tentacles hiding behind the mist that made them invisible. The tentacles were able to withstand the mana and magic to be unusable by them causing them to be weakly helpless.

"Are you Stahark?"

"Yes, that's right."

Biting the lollipop in her mouth, the girl stepped around Regard.

"Seeing from the expression you showed, you really hate me huh."

"Yes." Yeah."

"That's what it looks like."

Stepping away from Regard, the girl flicked her finger once more.

Buk up!

Regard's body suddenly bounced away causing himself to fall to the surface of the water in the Gial Valley.

Just now...

In his unusual shock, Regard was completely unable to estimate and sense anything as the tentacles attacking him caused him to bounce and fall to the surface of the water.

The reason Regard couldn't figure it out was that he deliberately lowered the amount of mana in him as best he could so as not to be detected by his enemy that he was a strong opponent.

That's why Regard was hit so far because he realized that showing his true self in front of the enemy was like suicide so he applied surrender and weakness, it was the best method for him.

Fenrir who was overwhelmed by anger charged straight at his enemy.

Once again, the girl flicked her finger causing Fenrir who was bound by tentacles to spew blood from within her body.

The pain from his tightly gripped arms and legs caused the inner bones to break. That was why every time the pain was felt, Fenrir vomited his blood many times.

Fenrir looked at Regard with his eyes lit up.

It was clear from the look of his eyes that looked sure signified that he was fine as long as Regard did not show his identity as a Necromancer in front of his enemy.

It could be felt by Regard through the determination in his eyes causing him to get up and walk slowly closer to Fenrir.

Bang out!

Before being able to move to the ground surface, Regard bounced strongly which caused his body to fall backwards.

Uninspiring.

According to the long pink haired girl, Regard was an attractive man. Despite the deaths of Fuzikumibaru and the man assigned to stand by in the Fairy Forest, both of them could be defeated easily by him.

But, this time it didn't seem obvious to him suspecting that he was a great person. Instead, the girl thought that Regard was weaker than humans in general.

Flicking his finger many times, the numerous tentacles crushed Regard's body repeatedly. Blood was spouted through his mouth.

The pain of the shattered bones in his body caused his internal organs to be squeezed as much as possible and then destroyed once the blows were done repeatedly.

Directing her arms towards her companions, the girl sucked some of the amount of mana they had in order to drain it out of her body.

Their skin slowly turned pale, as well as the flesh on their bodies that began to dry causing the bones in the body to be clearly seen by him.

"It's a shame. Whereas if you are able to save them, you should show me everything you have."

Mocking at Regard's helplessness, the girl kicked him with her shoes causing cracks around the water surface and an unsettled puddle of water to be mixed in by Regard's blood.

"Pathetic."

Feeling futile, the girl slowly moved away and approached the corpses of former friends of Regard who had been drained of mana in their bodies, with the exception of Fenrir who had crushed the bones in his body caused him to be dead.

"We'll see you later if fate brings us back together."

Disappearing from where she was, there was no sign of the existence that the long pink-haired girl had ever lived in the Gial Valley.

The Regard POV

Damnit.

That girl is really strong.

Holding the broken ribs many times by him, I used [Booster Health] which in an instant returned the broken bones to their original state.

Fortunately, I was able to execute this plan easily.

The plan where I deliberately told them to leave consciousness on the clone that was successfully made, was, they quietly slipped into the [Dark Dimension] that I managed to bring up on the ground with the minimum possible amount of mana to be unknown to the enemy.

The result can be seen clearly.

In front of him, my friends are gone.

Though I changed my other clones to be the same as those with consciousness and which in a certain amount were successfully placed.

Had I not been able to do it as well as I could, I did not know if they would be killed by him later or not, I was sure they would not have been able to survive after which in their bodies were drained out by him.

It will be a warning to me that Fuzikumibaru is absolutely certain that my opponent is no ordinary opponent.

He had great abilities and strength that was unmatched by anyone.

Yet...

It's not over yet.

I didn't show him anything at all. So, most likely the one who will be the one standing at the end is me, the strongest Necromancer with human consciousness.

I want to say that but I still have to be careful and careful.

Finished praying, Friya who deployed her magic wand took out a large [Fire Ball] directed towards the left side causing the entire area hit by the [Fire Ball] attack range to burn.

Outside of the Gial Valley, a girl smiled at what they were doing.

"He's really interesting."

Finished saying that to himself who was beginning to be interested in Regard, his body disappeared where it was before.
