The Necromancers

The Necromancers
Ch. 39.2: Leave It to Us! (2)

In the depths of the forest, entire monsters were seen in every place.

"It looks like it's going to be a complicated matter."

A black fog began to envelop his right arm which turned into a shiny black sword at night.

"You go, let me fight them!"

"Good."

"We leave it to you, Regard!"

"Be careful, Arhen!"

"Yes." Yeah."

Those who left left the short white-haired man made him smile at their departure.

A smile adorned his face that made him satisfied with the solitude he managed to have. No one saw him or bothered him, that was the opportunity he had.

"alright. Time to get serious."

Surrounding his body was a pitch-black aura that gushed out enveloping his body emitting high pressure onto every monster that surrounded him.

"This is the end for you!"

With his bright red eyes lit up in the darkness, all four figures emerged from the rapidly landing ceiling.

The four figures were girls who had abilities and strength that were far above average. They have different looks. There was an elf woman, a demon woman, a vampire woman, and an ordinary woman, all four of whom were in front of the man.

"I leave it to you!"

On the fingers of his hand which contained a thin thread, the man moved it which made them move quickly towards the monsters around him.

Starting from the elf girl, Friya who used some elements of fire and lightning to finish off and destroy the ranks of monsters on the north side in an instant. Ordinary girl, Reita who used the [Arm Golem] that hit the entire army of monsters that were on the south side.

As for the rest of the demon girls, Sakigawa used her ability to make the rocks around drift and dart quickly to finish off the enemies that were blocking her by punching holes in her body, grabbing some of their bodies that were not hit by the stone throw from him, and scorching the entire area on the east side.

Vampire girl who uses a whole herd of bats swarming monsters around, all around, killing and splitting some of them using her beautiful and stunning appearance behind the darkness of the night managed to overcome all the monsters on the west side.

Perfect.

Returning them nearby, the man obliterated their figure in an instant with no one left.

According to him, they were much more effective to use than using the entire members of The Necromancer which would be troublesome if he were to exert all his mana for his fight so he deliberately chose the usual means rather than the flashy ways in order to avoid being drained of mana in excessive amounts.

Now it's time to go.

Piles of corpses of various kinds of monsters were not clearly visible along the way the man walked. Starting from his body split in two in the middle, his head was severed, his limbs severed, and his, as well as its torn-up internal organs can be seen directly which makes the feel of the forest feel scary and creepy to see.

There are three more people.

In the distance that he was looking at using special eyes, the man sensed that there were three figures inhabiting the depths of the cave that had a large amount of mana that could not be underestimated.

"alright. I think it's better if I have fun first."

At the end of his black coat, an animal formed from fast-moving darkness with a transparent body entered into the depths of the cave.

Stopping to continue the journey, the man sat down on one of the trees. He leaned his back against the tree trunk and faced his face towards the night ceiling.

I hope they can do it.

Even though the man wanted to interfere in their problems, he still realized that he would only hinder their desire to solve problems that they could not solve.

A moment ago.

"Regard, can I talk to you?"

"Yes." Yeah."

In the room, inn, a man enjoying his blood-red drink placed his glass on the table and delayed his meal time on the meat he cooked himself to be diverted towards the girl who entered his room.

"What's up, Shilph?"

"It's about the problems we'll face later."

"So, are you planning to do something?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Shilph who stood up sighed and exhaled to calm himself first so as not to fidget as he explained to the man who was looking at him, Regard.

"I want you to hand it over to us."

"Eh..."

"Give it to you?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Not understanding Shilphonia's words, Regard pondered for a moment to draw a conclusion.

As far as he was concerned, Shilphonia was from an Angel which meant that she now had the status of a Fallen Angel, just like her enemy. In short, Shilphonia will do something about her own problems without needing any help from her in order to get it done easily and quickly.

"Can you let us do it alone?"

"All right."

Because Regard was not interested in meddling in their affairs, he agreed because he knew it was the right choice to trust them that they could do it.

"And so..."

"Is there anything else you want to talk about?"

"Yes. As for Veru, the man who saved you, I suggest he solve his own problems."

He's correct.

According to Regard, the problems faced by Veru are quite complicated.

Starting from him who lost consciousness because of darkness, was killed by his friend first, used by the devil to attack humans, all of that was a sin that he had to have all this time.

"You're right."

"alright. I leave this business to you and Uncle Veru."

"Yes. Leave everything to us, Regard!"

Smiling at the approval of the Regard, Shilphonia left her room to tell the rest of The Necromancer about what they were going to do.

That's all Regard can remember from a moment ago.

All in all, the conversation was between him and Shilphonia in secret which meant that none of them knew that their enemy was the Fallen Angel, the person Shilphonia had known all along.

The reason Regard hasn't told him yet is that allowing Shilphonia, the person who has a problem explaining it to them in its entirety rather than herself explaining it to them can make Shilphonia angry and resentful towards him.

With a smile of hope directed towards the cave entrance, Regard's heart was confident they could do well without the need for any help.

If there is a problem, sooner or later he will face another problem that awaits them so it is safe for them not to focus on other fights.

•••••

"I didn't expect that the entire monster was wiped out and wiped out in an instant."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Sad. They were only weak monsters so it was only natural that they lost so easily."

In the depths of the cave, the three figures were talking about a horde of monsters that they believed to be strong and great easily vanished none of them were able to survive.

The reason why they could know was thanks to the ability possessed by one of them, he said, the bespectacled girl who was seen in the depths of the cave was along with those who told her that the entire monster had been wiped out easily by humans.

"What should we do?"

"We'll welcome them immediately."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Without lingering again settled in the depths of the cave, one of the men walked forward first while the other two fell silent while looking at the man who was walking some distance from them.

"Is this a good idea?"

"Eitherway. We'll just follow what we want."

"All right."

As they both did not want to be left behind, one of the women told him to come with her even though they did not know whether welcoming them was the right choice or not, they did not care about her at all.

As long as they could be by her side, the woman would feel happy to be able to protect herself.

"Where are you going, Devil?"

"....."

The purplish light shone brightly in the darkness.

The light came from a small animal that transformed into a human being covered by the black robe it was wearing.

Feel this!

The explosion sounded loud which made the entire area echo out of the cave.

"What's that sound?"

"Is there someone who is fighting?"

"No, that's not possible."

"....."

This smell...

Unlike the three people who were tracing at the beginning of the cave entrance, one of the little girls smelled a familiar existence that he had just passed by a moment ago.

Existence itself passed through him without anyone realizing it, including himself.

"He's fighting."

"Him?"

"Don't tell me..."

"Yes, Regard Arthen is fighting."

Their footsteps halted for a moment when they found out that Regard started the fight first without their knowledge.

They thought that by handing over this matter to them, Regard would not interfere, but their estimation had been completely wrong. Regard who had first entered the cave unnoticed by them and started the fight, were all deliberate actions for him to do so.

Though in retrospect, Shilphonia felt completely confident that Regard would not interfere. That was why the moment he found out that Regard started the fight, his heart became upset and angry at his actions that started first without any of them starting the fight.

"What's wrong? Did you guys really forget how to fight?"

"....."

The black-colored edgy arch pitted continuously by the black feathers flying made sparks in the darkness.

On one hand, it was Regard who deployed his entire sword, [Imitation Sword] against one of them was easily fended off by the man with black wings who threw his feathers into the air to protect themselves.

"Slow!"

Not missing the opportunity, he easily disappeared and appeared right behind one of the men wearing silver armor between them.

On one of his arms was a dark red needle as blood was directed directly at the ground surface causing pools of blood to appear on the surface and then turn into a long jagged spear that filled the surrounding area.

"Truly useless."

"Yes." Yeah."

Chuckle at the words they give you, Regard quickly used [Acceleration] on him making him faster towards them and kicking one of them forcefully made the man with silver-colored armor bounce against the cave wall.

"Hows it? Does it taste good or..."

Not only did it bleed through his mouth, the man with silver armor was also strangled by Regard so strongly that his entire consciousness was almost gone from him.

"Keep away from her!"

Just as the words were being shouted, a long black-coloured needle made the hand of Regard clutching his neck be released to avoid an attack from them.

"You seem annoyed huh."

"You're not self-conscious either."

"really?"

"Yes." Yeah."

The two of them looked at each other in great distance carefully followed by a smile on their lips.

"God!"

"Death!"

As the two clashed against each other, the powerful waves caused by the air around them created shock waves that caused the entire area to explode within a wide range.

A woman who approached the man in silver armor took him away to avoid the powerful explosion caused by their attack.
