Ch. 40:Shackling and Freedom

The entire cave seemed to be completely destroyed.

Around the two of them, dust scattered that made their views blocked each other in knowing the condition of their enemies.

"Get out! I'm sure you're not gone yet."

Behind the thick fog, a man with [Black Sword] in his right hand was swung to the man standing with his body covered in bloody scratches.

The man swiftly repelled him using one of his wings and amplified his pressure on the wing holding him back making the short white-haired man bounce some distance from his previous place.

Although bounced, the man did not hit the surface or the wall of the ruins of the cave they destroyed but he continued to tread without falling or losing balance.

"I admit you're really great."

On one of his arms was a bright red magic circle like a flame burning in a small size, the man quickly continued his words which he had deliberately put off.

"But you can't beat everything I have."

Raising his hand to the ceiling then hitting the surface of the palm onto the ground surface, the magic circle that originally looked small in his hand began to enlarge stretching widely around him.

Behind the bright magic circle, appeared a large figure that came out from within the circle.

The figure looked like a bird on its head, its round body that had no legs, a pair of hands with long claws, and its, accompanied by the threads that bound her body can be clearly seen that it is a doll that looks like Marionette.

Finish him!

Giving a cue through his gaze towards the man who was a little away from him, the man who called the figure made the figure of a stuffed bird or could be called as Marionette Bird move quickly towards Regard.

Trang!

The stalk is done as the claws begin to be directed from the ceiling.

The strong grip from the impact of his claws made it difficult for Regard to hold it in so he quickly twisted his body to create an air shockwave that caused him to disappear in an instant.

In both of Marionette Bird's hands, her five claws from each finger were thrown towards the Regard making her lung straight at him.

Around Regard's body, blood surrounded him which turned into numerous jagged needles that had a large size were able to fend off a few claws from him easily.

Really weak.

One of her legs that hit the surface made a mound of dirt lead to Marionette Bird quickly. Marionette Bird dodged the mound of land that began to grow towards her and flew on the ceiling that was difficult to reach by the mound of land earlier.

"Sad...."

Activating [Acceleration], Regard disappeared and started to drift away again.

Throughout his escape, he and the people in the members of The Necromancer passed each other and looked at each other before Regard finally left immediately.

"That ought...."

"Yes. No mistake, he's fighting."

"But who's the opponent?"

Just when they were talking like that to each other about the whereabouts of the distant Regard, the figure of Marionette Bird passed by them without attacking the existence of those who were walking towards where her master was.

In Fenrir's mouth there is a light colored red to orange shaped small balls slowly enlarged. The ball was bitten by it and opened its mouth causing a brightly lit orange laser to burn the entire surrounding area and then explode within a wide range.

After the explosion, a small crater formed on the ground surface caused by the explosion from the Fenrir laser.

Really sad yeah.

On the ground surface in the middle of the crater made earlier by the Fenrir explosion, Regard was lying on top with his body filled with pools of blood. His pair of eyes and mouth that were still spitting out blood, some of his missing limbs spitting out large amounts of blood causing pools of blood on the surface that soaked his back and clothes.

In the end, the success of Regard really looks successful.

No matter how much sacrifice was required, he finally finished to end the fight alongside the monster. Even though he lost a lot of blood and all his strength, he still smiled at his success.
