The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Section Thirteen: The Palace

Amabel now knew why so many people wanted to go to the palace. The building in front of him was so beautiful. It is made of crystal and surrounded by a flower garden. "It's so pretty." He was carrying a suitcase in both hands.

Duke Lancaster smiled then rubbed the top of Amabel's head. "Many are fascinated by its beauty, like roses. Interesting yet dangerous."

Amabel looked up, looking at her papa. He thought his father would continue the conversation, but he did not. Duke Lancaster instead held onto his shoulder and looked at him straight. "There'll be a waiter coming to pick you up. Papa can't get you inside."

Oddity rang out from Amabel's mouth, "even if I may reject it, papa. Don't worry, I'll be a strong girl!"

Duke Lancaster nodded then kissed the top of his daughter's head warmly. "May safety and happiness never leave you."

"And may papa always be given strength." Reply Amabel with a deep smile.

"Darang palace, Kier saluted Duke Lancaster and the princess." A woman approached them, making Amabel put her suitcase and return the greeting.

"Are you in charge of me at the palace, Kier?" Ask Amabel gently. Both hands were piled up in front.

Kier nodded, then let the two male servants carry Amabel's suitcase. "Come, princess, I'll take you to your room."

Amabel nodded then turned to Duke Lancaster. "I'm saying goodbye, papa. May happiness and salvation never go from my side."

Duke Lancaster gave him the box he had been holding. Gift box from Alec and Eli. Amabel accepted with a smile, "see you, papa."

Duke Lancaster nodded and stared at his daughter's departure. "May salvation never leave you, Amabel."

Amabel followed Kier from behind. The palace is really pretty. The floor is decorated with jewels and diamonds, really beautiful. But also sad. If they can decorate the palace as luxurious as this they should be able to provide free education to people who cannot afford it.

Until now even though Comma is a public school for ordinary people, but the education obtained is still far from feasible. Luckily in Plodnavor, Comma was given a large allowance so that ordinary people could enjoy a level education bench with a special school of nobility. Unfortunately, this is not the case in other areas.

"Mr. Princess, this is your room." Kier opened the golden door in front of Amabel and let the girl in.

His suitcase was placed next to a white closet. The room is equipped with a living room. There are two doors on the right side that are likely to be bedrooms and study rooms. It was more or less the same as his room at home.

"Mr princess can rest first. I'll go to prepare lunch." Kier said, his eyes were as jet black as his hair. Since then, Kier has always been staring at the floor when talking. "Is there anything the princess needs?"

Amabel shook her head, "no Kier this is enough. You can finish your business. Thank you." Thank you."

Kier's eyes moved quickly and lowered. A thank you from Amabel surprised him. "No need to thank you, princess. This is my job."

Amabel even chuckled at her, "just keep helping me and in the future will help me. So, thank you and help."

Kier was even more shocked when Amabel bowed. The young woman immediately calmed down, the action of course followed by two male servants behind her. "I will try to help the princess in the future."

"Hm, thank you again. You can go now." Amabel waved her hand at Kier who only looked down in return. The maid in the palace wanted him when she first met Pita. That day too Pita acted like Kier.

To be honest, Amabel did not like when someone was standing before her, she felt bad. They are both human, why should they respect it to such an extent?

"Ah, I haven't had time to say goodbye to Sir Reginald." Mumbled Amabel. He began to take out his personal belongings and tidied them up.

Amabel did not bring much dress because of course the palace will provide a dress for her. The suitcase is filled with books and paper. When she was done, Amabel stuffed her empty suitcase into a cupboard under the seat. The girl then stepped towards the study table.

Amabel not only wrote letters to Sir Reginald, but also to the people at home. To Alec, Eli, mama, Pita, and Elle. The girl smiled as she wrote the letters.

After everything was done, Amabel stuffed each one into an envelope of a different color. For Sir Arnold is white because he knows his teacher doesn't like anything excessive. For the silver-colored mama. For Alec and Eli it's blue. Pita and Elle are pink. When she was done, Amabel closed it with the Lancaster family stamp.

"I'll leave it to Kier later." He muttered while tidying up the letters that had been arranged.

Ah, Amabel is curious, where is Rachel? That girl should have entered the palace as well. Amabel will find him later.

"Sir, your lunch is ready." Kier knocked on the door. "I'm going in."

Amabel stood up and walked over to Kier. "Kier, has the other Prince's future wife arrived yet?" Ask the girl as she opens the door of the study room.

Kier was ordering two servants to make lunch for him. "If you're looking for the daughter of Count Hutger, I haven't heard from her yet."

Amabel immediately narrowed her eyes. "How did you know about that?"

Kier lowered his head, "of course I have to find information about the princess before becoming your servant."

Amabel grabbed the dry bread and dipped it in the soup. "Hm, this is delicious. Tell the cook that I like this food."

"certain."

It feels so lonely. I usually eat lunch with Pita. Of course Pita will reject her because of their differences in status, but Amabel is a stubborn girl. "Where will the princess Rachel stay? What's next to my room?"

Kier was silent for a moment before answering. "Each of the Prince's future wives is placed in a different location."

Bizarrely. Something suspicious here. "And where will princess Rachel be?"

Kier looked down, apologizing. "That's not something I know, princess. However, it is likely that young lady Hutger was in the southern palace."

"Oh, I'd like to ask you to send me a letter on my desk." Amabel tried to stare at Kier, but again she looked down. The girl pushed her empty plate. "Kier, why are you looking down so far? Is there anything interesting about the floors?"

Kier quickly shook his head, "none, princess."

"Then look me in the eye when I talk to you." Reply Amabel firmly.

"How can I do that?" Kier said as he shook his head.

Amabel sighed, "just take this as an order for you."

I don't want Kier to nod. Amabel refuted her chin with a hand while smiling. "Now look me in the eye."

Kier hesitantly raised his head and looked at Amabel. "Good, now please send me a letter-surar on my study desk huh. I'll take a shower after this and you won't have to call another waitress to help me."

Kier nodded and Amabel stepped lightly towards her bedroom. He wanted to soak in the cold water so that his head could think clearly. Why did Kier mention the princess to her while Rachel was called miss. Something is strange here.
