"Kier, let's go to the palace library." Take Amabel. It's the third day he's in the palace, but there's nothing he's done.
Kier nodded, "well, princess."
The two then left the room. There was a rule that forbade any of the Prince's future wives to meet, so Amabel could not meet with Rachel. He thought when at the palace meeting Rachel would be easier. The library was near the exam room yesterday.
The white door opened when Amabel was in front of her. His eyes are fleshy, shining so happy to see the contents of the library. The palace library is three-story, the floor is made of marble, the walls are decorated with beautiful carvings in the form of flowers, and the most Amabel likes is the silver bookshelf. Well-favoured.
"Kier, I'll be here a long time. You can come back later in the afternoon," said Amabel, staring at the division of books on each floor.
Kier nodded then narrowed his eyes, "mister princess, you can't leave like yesterday okay? I'll wait here again before sunset."
Amabel did not turn her head when she replied, "okay, okay! See you later!"
Kier chuckled at Amabel who was currently walking towards the bookshelf. The young woman then walked out of the library, leaving Amabel who stepped into the magic passageway. Amabel wanted to know about magic, the beginning, and if anything she wanted to learn a little.
Amabel stepped towards the first hallway, saw some titles then passed by. He continued walking until he reached the last hallway. A book with woodcuts caught his attention. Amabel was only up to four bookshelves tall, while the book was on the seventh shelf.
Amabel looked, to the right, but there was no one. He sighed, finally Amabel took off her shoes, and began to climb up the shelf. Amabel's heart was pounding, between fear of falling and the pleasure of trying new things. The book he finally got hold of, but Amabel's problem could not go down. His hand could not hold the shelf to hold the balance because it had to hold the book he was holding. Amabel looked down, "astaga, very high."
Amabel finally just stayed in her place. Her hands were starting to ache, Amabel wanted to go down. Amabel began to think of jumping or throwing away the book she had picked up, but it would create a noise. The girl finally took a breath and chose to jump, "i'm scared." Mumbled.
Amabel shouldn't have climbed this shelf. He should have called the guards or whoever. Just then he felt someone holding his waist, "uh?"
It didn't take long until Amabel finally stepped on the floor again. "Unfilling, thank you."
Amabel was still silent, looking down while hiding her legs. Why would he have to take off his shoes and be found by a foreign man like this? The man in front of Amabel stared at Amabel's feet, then picked up Amabel's shoes. "If you're so embarrassed why did you get out of the beginning?"
Amabel was still looking down with a reddened face, if there was Elena, Amabel would have been scolded all day. "I intend to take this book, so-um, that's it."
The man finally lowered his head, grabbed Amabel's feet and put on his shoes. "So, you climbed up the bookshelf and didn't know how to get off?"
As the man looked up, Amabel could see his green eyes with golden hair. "Yes." Yeah."
This situation is so strange for Amabel. A foreign man helped her down and put her shoes on. I don't know why Amabel was embarrassed. "Again thanks."
"No need." There was a long gap there until Amabel wanted to leave. However, he felt it was impolite to leave now. "You who? I've never seen you before. There's no way you're a waitress in this fancy dress."
Amabel immediately pulled both ends of her dress and saluted. "Amabel Lancaster said hello. Thank you for your help and sorry for this."
It was so embarrassing that Amabel could not lift her face. The man in front of Amabel chuckled softly then extended his hand. It was accepted by Amabel. Amabel's hand was grabbed and gently slammed. "Ryu Dominic, greet Lady Lancaster."
His name is foreign. Where did Amabel ever hear of it? It took a while until he finally realized. Amabel immediately saluted, "sorry for my lassitude Prince."
Hearing that made Ryu again chuckle. "You didn't do anything wrong, why should you apologize?"
Ryu nodded, grabbed one book, and opened it briefly. "No problem, you don't know who I really am. Want to come to the reading room?"
The offer was immediately accepted Amabel because her intention was indeed so. "You're interested in magic too?"
Ryu did not turn his head, just looked straight ahead. "Hm, rather than being interested I think magic is my responsibility."
Amabel doesn't understand, "why is that?" Amabel added, "of course, if I may know."
Ryu opens the door to the reading room and lets Amabel enter first. The room was so bright because the ceiling was made of glass. "I'm the leader of the sorcerer's society in the kingdom."
"Woah," said the admiration could not be held by Amabel. "It's cool. You are young and already the leader of the witches. Does that mean you live in a witch's tower?"
"Suddenly you're so curious, miss." Reply Ryu flat.
Amabel immediately felt bad and looked down, "sorry."
Ryu simply nodded then continued his reading. Amabel did the same. In the book he took there is an explanation of Celine's power. It turned out that Celine could summon a spirit of the sacred element. Said during the war, Celine summoned the spirits of the four elements. The water spirit is named Aora, the fire spirit is named Pier, the earth spirit is named Sila, and the air spirit is named Ro.
How to call it stay focused on the spirit that wants to be called and mention the name of the caller. "I, Amabel Lancaster called Ro the owner of the air element."
Amabel just muttered and when that strong wind passed through her. "Whoa."
"What are you doing?" Reprimanded Ryu while staring at Amabel, as sharp as the sword on Amabel's neck.
"A-I, just trying to call Ro. I mean the spirit of the air element." Amabel's voice was made as calm as possible despite her fear.
The sword on Amabel's neck was sharp enough to leave a wound. "I'm sorry for making the Prince feel threatened. However, never have I had the intention to injure the Prince."
Amabel could feel her blood flowing slowly. Ryu had not intended to lower his sword, his eyes were so cold. The eyes were assessing whether Amabel could be trusted or not. After a long while he finally lowered his sword, "go and treat your wounds."
Amabel sighed, relieved. She is terrified, but Amabel can still pay her respects to Ryu. "Thank you for the Prince's generosity. Excuse me."
Ryu remained silent until the sound of the door closing he heard. For a person who was even new to learning magic, summoning an element spirit was impossible. Amabel had not had time to interact with the spirit of the summoned element, but the wind was no ordinary wind. Ryu was sure it was Ro, the air element spirit who was greeting Amabel.
How could Amabel call Ro so easily? While Ryu could only summon Ro when he was ten, it was with thousands of experiments. Ryu turned his face away, staring at the door. This ability is too dear if only left.
While Amabel was so grateful when she saw Kier on the first floor. Amabel hugged Kier, "Kier I'm so happy to see you."
Kier said Amabel didn't understand, and then his eyes caught a cut on Amabel's neck. "Oh my god, your princess is hurt! Come on, let's go back to the room and treat your wounds."
Even Kier's babble can make Amabel feel safe. Amabel had never felt fear for the sword that injured her but the aura of Prince Ryu was so dark and terrifying. Even Amabel was sure, the Prince would not hesitate to slash her neck. Thinking about it made Amabel come back terrified.
