The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Twenty Six: See You

Today Amabel will return to her home. The entire noble princess will return to prepare herself before the engagement party. The room that Amabel lived in was neat, just like the first time she came. Hugging the music box from her brother, Amabel smiled at Kier. "Get yourself, Kier. We'll meet again at the right time."

Kier nodded then gave a salute of respect. "I will remember. Princess, take care of yourself and I pray that you are always healthy."

"thank you. See you soon." Pamit Amabel while riding her horse-drawn carriage.

After the party, no one talked about Amabel's impulsiveness. Maybe they used magic, even Kier can't remember why he cried the day before. It would be great if they could do magic on his memories as well. Especially this excruciating pain.

The look led to the outside of the window. They started to enter the city center. This road suddenly reminded Amabel of Arion. What the hell is he doing? Amabel doesn't know. He hasn't seen Arion again. Even if he saw her in the palace, Arion would instantly throw her face away. It was as if the man did not want to see it. And it feels sad.

The horse-drawn carriage began to enter the Lancaster family residence. Amabel patted both of her cheeks, preventing her from looking sad. He took a breath and let it out. No one knows about his sadness. Amabel had put on a big smile when the door of the carriage opened.

"I'm home!" Shouts cheerfully. And thank goodness everyone thinks so.

"Arion! How can you leave before the engagement party starts?" The King's voice echoed in his room. In front of him Arion was kneeling by making the sword as a focus.

Arion still lowered his head, "how can I wait for the engagement party if out there the enemy has sharpened the sword? We can't sacrifice people in the border area."

The king clenched his teeth, he was so angry and frustrated. "And you disregard the honor of the Lancaster family? You're ignoring your fiancee?"

"Before I came here, I had told Amabel everything. Don't worry, he understands well." Reply Arion in a flat tone.

Duke Lancaster finally let out his opinion. "Your Majesty, if you will allow me to give you an opinion?"

The king looked, then nodded. Duke Lancaster gave a small salute before replying, "if you are worried about the honor of our family, I am certainly very grateful. No need to worry, my daughter will be fine. If fate had tied the hands of both, there would have been nothing to separate them."

Duke Lancaster's words hit Arion's chest. The current fate might be doing a party because it managed to play tricks on him. The king sighed, "i can't help but leave you again. Before leaving, however, come to the Lancaster residence. Tie your destiny there."

Arion looked up when he heard the King's words, then he turned to Duke Lancaster who nodded. "It's an order or pull your troops to retreat."

Ario sighed, he nodded then saluted. "My Majesty's command will be carried out well. Then, excuse me."

Arion stepped out of the King's hall and met his troops. "I'll go to the Lancaster house first, you can wait outside the gates of Plodnavor."

"Yes!" Prajut and they separated. Arion has to do it fast because the longer it takes, he can change his mind.

It didn't take long for Arion to arrive at the Lancaster family mansion. "Our respect Prince. What brought you here?" A butler asked him.

Arion got off his horse, looked into his eyes so cold. "Tell the young lady that her fiance is waiting here. I don't have much time."

"The fifth prince is waiting for the miss in front. He doesn't have much time because he's leaving soon." He said with a breath.

Amabel heard this and stood up. He grabbed a small box before he left. A pink dress was attached to Amabel's body. His hair was unraveling and his steps were rushing towards the door. He took a breath before opening the door. From his place he could see Arion's back. Today he wears armor.

Slowly, Amabel approached and greeted him. "Safety to the Prince."

Hearing that Arion turned his head. She looked at Amabel who looked beautiful in her pink dress. "I came here by order of the King."

Amabel felt her breath choking when she heard that. He nodded, ignoring the feeling of tightness. "You don't have to bother, I can come if I'm told."

Arion didn't know that formalities would give them this much distance. Amabel's height is currently on her wait, when they meet how much change is in her?

"Is there anything else you want to say?" Ask Amabel.

Does Arion not have the right to see Amabel now?

"Grow your hand out." He and Amabel did it.

Before long Arion took out a silver ring with a red stone in the center. "We can't do it at the royal engagement party, so I hope you understand."

Amabel nodded, then grabbed the ring in the box and put it on Arion's finger. The red color in the stone looks like a red thread that binds the fingers of both. Amabel looked up and she drowned in Arion's eyes. What is Arion thinking? Why does it look so empty?

He lowered his head then stretched out the box that he had been carrying. "I made this bracelet and prayed that the Prince would be given salvation."

Arion nodded and accepted it. "Then I'm gone."

"Yes. I will always pray for the safety of the Prince." Amabel lowered her head, saluting Arion who was now sitting on her horse. "Return safely and whole."

Arion said nothing, just looked at Amabel's face and tried to remember every detail on her face. I don't know how many seasons will pass for them to meet again. Either they'll be able to call each other's names when they meet on the street. Either they will give a smile or a warm indentation later. But for now, the two are hoping for safety for each other.

Arion's ego wants Amabel to hold him. However, Amabel instead nodded, making Arion immediately pull the rope of his horse. Once again Amabel stared at Arion's bronze. He hugged his hand and kissed his ring. In his heart he prayed that Arion would return safely and fully.

If fate binds them, Amabel prays that the two will not hurt each other. If this fate requires Amabel to walk on a shard, she will. Being Amabel Lancaster was not easy from the beginning.

Arion leaves without a doubt and Amabel will meet Sir Alberto without a doubt. Openness in honesty will be given. And Amabel thinks that's the price she has to pay to achieve her goals.
