The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Twenty-Nine: Rezenevor

The sky was already orange when Alberto's horse-drawn carriage entered Rezenavor territory. The horse carriage stopped in front of a simple inn by the roadside. Alberto did not extend his hand to Amabel, so the girl chose to jump from the horse-drawn carriage. A habit that of course he can not do because it is not polite. Usually he would have to wait for someone to stretch out his hand to help get off the horse carriage, but at the moment no one cared.

Alberto was carrying two suitcases in his hand while the horse-drawn carriage moved away. "Where does the train go, Alberto?" Amabel asked as she followed Alberto from behind.

"Back to Plodnavor." Reply Alberto and settle administrative affairs.

Amabel smiled at the innkeeper. "If the train goes back to Plodnavor how will we go to Iliya?"

Alberto sighed, this little lady asked so much. "By foot and if lucky we can hitch a ride on the merchants."

Amabel nodded then left Alberto at the reception desk. He observed this inn. The waiting room is quite spacious with two brown sofas lined with long wooden tables. The windows are wide open with chrysanthemum flowers as decoration. On the wall there is no painting like in his house, but many small pots decorated with certain patterns. As Amabel took one step back, she could read the writing of the Crisandum. This inn owner really likes chrysanthemums.

There are three floors in the inn with wooden stairs on the right side. Alberto returns while giving Amabel the room key. "You rest first, we'll meet at dinner."

Amabel nodded and followed Alberto. Their room is on the right side of the stairs. It belongs to Amabel number 10 and Alberto is opposite number 11. "Oh, I'll be late for having to write a letter to the kingdom. So, you can look around before dinner."

Amabel nodded, her eyes shining. "Good! Have a good rest, Alberto."

Hearing that made Alberto smile. "Good break, Amabel."

Then the door closed. Amabel immediately laid her body on the bed. It felt so comfortable after sitting for hours in the horse carriage. The girl then sat down, took off her coat and removed her hair braids. This is more comfortable. After this he will take a bath first and look around Rezenavor.

Amabel came out with her hair one-pointed. The girl knocked on Alberto's door, "Alberto, I'll go have a look. See you at dinner."

"Yes." Yeah." That was Alberto's only reply. The silver-haired girl frowned, but not for long as she immediately smiled after. Amabel came down from the second floor and saw the empty reception desk. Amabel had wanted to ask for advice on the place she should go, if it was like this she would just go follow her feet.

Amabel stopped at the last staircase of the inn, weighing the direction she wanted to take. Let's think simply, it came from the right now it will choose the left to look around. Rezenavor is just a town, or rather it is said to be a village. Along the way that Amabel passed by the sight of a florist, it was no wonder that Rezenavor produced the best flowers in the Kingdom.

There are street lamps decorated with vines. The streets are not too crowded, but large enough for two horse-drawn carriages. A bookstore on the left side made Amabel turn and enter. "Good night" said Amabel.

No one answered, but the girl went in and looked around. There was a special rack of magic books that caught Amabel's attention. The book is brown with plant tendrils as decoration. In front of him was only the writing of the Moon as the title. "How do I buy this?" Mumbled.

"Well, there's a guest turned out." The words made Amabel turn around. In front of her stood a beautiful woman in a golden colored dress. On his head was a jewel ornament, "you want to buy it?"

Amabel nodded, "how much is it?"

The woman smiled, seemingly judging Amabel by her tilted head. "depends."

"Yes?" Amabel doesn't understand, what depends? Is this book very expensive?

"How well you deserve it." The woman smiled, passed Amabel and walked towards the entrance. "Hm, looks like you're quite decent. So, give me five strands of your hair."

"Huh?" Amabel still does not understand but her hair has been removed by force. "Hey! What's that for?"

She smiled, "how lucky I am. Thanks customer, don't come again."

After that, Amabel was already outside the store. When he turned around, the bookstore was gone. "What was that?" The question doesn't understand.

Amabel was still standing while hugging the book she had bought. He already had the book, but the shop was gone. The girl turned her head, looking back at the empty building behind her. There are walls, not shops. Amabel shook her head slowly and decided to return to the inn. When he arrived at the reception desk there was a woman who Amabel had met in the store.

"Th-you?" Amabel's words were only answered with an innocent smile.

Amabel massaged the trunk of her nose, "how can you be here?"

His smile was still created, "because I work here. Does the customer need anything?"

"But just now, you're a bookstore? My hair? My hair!" Scream Amabel while holding her head.

The woman tilted her head, looking at Amabel who did not understand. "Did the lady's head just stumble on something?" Ask with a worried look.

Amabel sighed, giving up. "We'll talk later. Where's the dining room?"

"In the left hallway. Please enjoy dinner." The woman smiled sweetly.

Amabel stopped her steps, looking into the woman's eyes. "Your name?"

"Rain." Reply with the same smile.

"I'm Amabel." Amabel said, the girl smiled sweetly. "I'm sorry for my insolence."

"No problem."

Amabel just stared at the woman for a while then she turned around and walked towards the dining room. There's something strange here. Also, what little thing has Amabel seen on Rain's shoulder?

When he opened the door, Alberto was waiting. Seeing that, Amabel immediately ran over a small. "Sorry, I'm taking too long?"

Alberto shook his head while shaking his hand. "I just arrived. It just so happened, so what did you meet?"

Amabel shows Alberto the book she bought. Looking at the book made Alberto's eyebrows rise, "I don't know if you're interested in chrysanthemums."

"Yes?" Reply Amabel did not understand. He immediately turned his body, staring at the book with the title Moon now becoming a Chrysanthemum. Even the contents change. Amabel immediately put her head on the table. "Alberto, it looks like I've been deceived."

Alberto laughed at hearing that. If it's like this he sees Amabel as a child. His hands were breaking Amabel's hair, "just take this as a lesson. You have to make sure many times before you buy something. Just like when looking for answers to a question, you have to keep questioning the answers you write. When there's no more questions, then you've found the answers you're looking for."

Amabel straightened her body, "if you're still not sure?"

"That means you're on the right path, only you still have doubts. Doubt can backfire on researchers. The doubt of right and wrong ultimately makes you give up. You are not unsure, but not confident. It is true, but your faith wavers only by one or two things. Don't be like that. In this journey neither right nor wrong is sought, but faith." Alberto smiled at the waiter who brought their food. After that he continued, "remember that well. Truth in science is abstract. You can be sure it's right now, but in the future you can be declared wrong. So, just believe your thoughts right now. That's enough."

Amabel nodded and the dinner was filled with long chatter between the two. "Tomorrow we'll go to school, so prepare yourself. You can read the book I gave you just now in preparation for tomorrow."

Amabel nodded, "good."

"Then we rest tonight." After that, the two walked back to their rooms.

Amabel immediately dropped her body on the bed. He grabbed the book he bought, now it's back to being the Moon. What the fuck?

The girl brought the book she bought to the study table and opened it. It was about magic and spells that he could use. Then why did it turn into a book about chrysanthemums? Again, Amabel put her head on the table. He's tricked.
