The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Three: Time Passed

Seven years later...

"Rosemary."

I looked, there was only one person who called me by that name. Jean Rahel Hutger, my friend. She is the daughter of Count Ziglin Karl Hutger and Jean Carolina Hutger. I hugged him at a glance.

"You looked so excited this morning Rachel. Did something happen last weekend?" I asked him to sit down.

Rachel smiled again, unable to hide her cheeks. "You know, yesterday I accidentally saw the Prince!" Rachel was now fusing her hands with sparkling eyes. "From a distance, the prince looked handsome. Tsk, I can't wait to see it in person."

I smiled, hearing Rahe's story was always fun. "You can't wait to see it in person or can you wait to come to the Prince's birthday party?"

Rachel's face was now completely red, even to the ears. "Of course both. But Rosemary, it's not because I like it that way."

"That? What'sthat?" ulaku.

His face met again until his hands moved with nervousness. "Like woman to man. I just admire him. Our talented, clever, and a revisionist prince! That's it, he's handsome! Aah, just looking at it up close is already a blessing for me."

I chuckle softly. Yes, Rachel is often overrated. "You really adore him. By the way, how's Vincent doing?"

Vincent Brian Hutger, first child and older brother of Rachel. He and my two brothers are friends, like me and Rachel. Even Vincent introduced me to Rachel when we were five years old.

Rachel now flicked her hand, "don't worry that she's still alive despite falling from that crazy horse."

"I heard his bones were broken so I couldn't go to the academy?" I asked when I remembered Eli's story last week.

Rachel kontan laughing. So tight that it got a strong dehumanization from Missa-servant Rachel. The girl instantly stopped laughing, becoming a noble child was really difficult. Trust me. We kids from noble families have to learn ethics when we are five formally. Not how to write or read, but how to use a spoon and knife is more important. It has to be this way, it can't be. There were so many rules that I often ran away from ethics classes.

Of course I didn't do it alone, but with Alec and Eli. The three of us often skipped ethics lessons and hid in the kitchen. Of course we were punished afterwards and will go back truancy when we are bored. Really, that ethics lesson is really boring.

Back to Rachel who is now telling me about Vincent. "He's totally overrated. Her legs were just sprains and her body was bruised, but as you heard of course she would exaggerate it. He's Vincent, you know."

"And that's why Vincent and Eli fit so well." I said while giggling. I think people will think so. Vincent has golden hair and blue eyes like Eli, so they are sometimes considered to be brothers compared to Alec and Eli.

Rachel nodded again, this girl in front of me is beautiful. Her hair was rosegold in color, her eyes were clear blue, and she had a charming smile. Despite being only eight and coming from the Counts' family, Rachel had already gotten many party invitations. Of course Rachel will only come to the official party when she is sixteen.

Rachel is an intelligent woman, although she often laughs too loudly. This caused Missa to frequently reprimand him. "By the way, have you determined which school you're going to attend? It doesn't feel like next year we have to take the exam." Her face looks sad, I think it's because Rachel doesn't like school.

I cut my cake and ate it. I don't know what I want to do later. "Yes, you're right. I don't know about it. I'll think about it later."

Rachel looked at me for a long time until she finally nodded. "Sure, you still have time. Don't you have dreams?"

My forehead immediately wrinkled. "No." I smiled, probably looking too happy that Rachel looked at me weirdly. "Ah, but I want to live with both my parents forever."

Rachel's mouth is wide open. I'm afraid the flies will get into his mouth. "Rahel, you need to shut the fuck up."

The girl finally came to her senses and did as I asked. He cleared his throat, this time sitting more upright than usual. "Rosemary dear, in the end a princess like us will leave home and become a wife. I don't want to ruin your dream, only if you want to make it happen the Lancaster family will definitely be underestimated."

I took a long breath. I never thought so. I wish I could only live with a family I didn't have before. Rachel probably saw the sadness in my eyes that made him grab my hand and pat her softly. "Whatever your dreams I will always support you. Even if it sounds crazy like that. I'm sorry I doubted your dream."

Rachel is a good woman. He is not only good at learning, but also seeing one's emotions. I looked up, looking straight at her beautiful blue eyes. "Thank you."
