Amabel set out for Iliyakool - the name of the school she was about to enter - after letting Rain sniff it for fifteen minutes. He didn't even know why he was allowing Rain's strange treatment. The girl stood among hundreds of participants in a green dress and a brown robe. He went into a special corridor for his dial number.
"Please come in." That's it, with no instructions.
Amabel went into the empty white room. Just a white space, he had to step on the ground and hit his wall. There's nothing. He didn't even find a clue. Amabel almost fell if she did not defy her body with the sword. The white space turned into a forest. In front of him was a ravine and a dragon.
Is this magic? Or just an illusion? However, when the dragon advanced and attacked he could feel his bloody cheeks. Whatever it is, Amabel has to stop it. He can't ask anyone for help.
He closed his eyes, focusing his magic on the sword until his sword was covered in silver. It was the manna, the source of his magic that he put on his sword. As the dragon flew towards her, Amabel prepared to run and point her sword. But that's not enough. Even scratching his body is not.
He was grieving, but his smile was created. His opponent was so strong and Amabel could not wait to defeat him. It's the same feeling he had against Ian. The girl tightened her sword, taking out more manna. This time it was enough to scratch the dragon's body. Feeling his body hurt, the dragon went on a rampage.
Amabel is backing down, she has to set the strategy. On his left right was a tree and a large stone. But not enough to hide. He quickly bit his thumb, allowing his blood to flow. Amabel doesn't know if it's gonna work or not, but there's no harm in trying.
"I'm Amabel Lancaster calling Ro, the owner of the air element and making a pact with him." The blood then he put on his sword.
From the exam room, Professor Bennett raised his eyebrows. Yes, Alberto Bennett was one of the test assessors and of course he didn't tell Amabel. "He made a pact with the spirit of the element." Alberto. What a potential Amabel and it would be a pity if it only ended as empress.
Sima Geonia - one of the Professors at Iliyakool-nodging. He recorded a few sentences while staring at Amabel who managed to disrupt the dragon's movements with the help of a covenant with the spirit of the element. "Even Prince Ryu could only summon elemental spirits at the same age as this child. He had a lot of manna in his body. So strong and pure."
"Also dangerous." Professor Ken. Jean Ken Doris, staring at Amabel sharply. His eyes followed the girl's movements. "He's like Pandora's box. So powerful, interesting, yet so dangerous."
Amabel swung her sword, trying to make the wind direction that brought the dragon chaotic. And he succeeded, the girl then ran. His eyes shone with firmness and with a single slash he split the body of the dragon before him. Amabel was still adjusting her breath as the room returned to a white empty space. It was just magic, but it was real. Even the wound on his cheek was still there. As powerful as what created and controlled this room?
The girl came out after stuffing her sword into the sword shell. While outside, Amabel just felt her body tired amazingly. He even fell down on the side of the corridor. Thankfully not too many. His body was sweating and when he looked at his left hand, on his wrist was created a sky-blue line with an imperfect circular motif. The emblem of the agreement with the spirit of the aerial element.
The moment he made the pact, his body felt so light. Now it's even very tired. The side effects he felt. It was true, one should only be able to make a pact with an elemental spirit when his body was ready. Only, the only way that Amabel remembered was to make a pact.
He sat there for a while until his breathing stabilized. It felt so long that Rain appeared with a big smile. "Hello, miss customer!" When he saw Rain, his body immediately felt limp and his consciousness disappeared.
Rain quickly captures Amabel's body. He touched Amabel's forehead and a white light came out of her hand. "You're not ready, miss customer."
He easily lifts Amabel in his arms and in the seconds that they are in Amabel's room. Slowly, Rain put Amabel's body on the bed. He took Amabel's hand, touching the emblem made by the covenant with Ro. "I, Rain, the witch from the west did Ro."
A gentle wind touched Rain's face and a blue cloud was created from the wind. "Ah, Master Rain! Long time no see."
Rain immediately snorted, "yes, yes. No need to make any pleasantries. Look, he's." He pointed at Amabel with his chin. "His body is not ready and has made a pact with you. You know if there's an agreement it means the manna he's released will get bigger. If he can't control it, he can be unconscious like this for a long time."
Ro is busy circling Amabel's body. "He only has the power of the Goddess, his mind remains his own. I can't do anything, I'm just following the deal."
"Well, what good is it to live long if something like this doesn't you know?" Rain's innuendo irritates Ro and leaves Rain's peat in disarray.
"Don't talk about age!" Ro turned back in the room. "Oh, why don't you teach him to control his powers?"
Rain crossed his arms behind his head. "Cause it's troublesome of course." Reply Rain with a stupefied face. "I just enjoy the energy."
"What's lucky you have the power." Sindir Ro's. "Then give him a pet."
Rain sighed, "that animal you're referring to is a thousand-year-old demon that's hard to figure out!"
His advice really complicates everything. Ro again rattled Rain's hair with the wind. "You're the one who won't bother!"
"Indeed." Tandas Rain's.
"Then seal his strength." Ro said, still spinning above Amabel's body. The girl's breathing was still wheezing, even her body was sweating. The impact of making an agreement and using too much manna. "You can do that little thing, right? I'm leaving now."
The blue cloud disappeared. Rain grabbed Amabel's hair, soft. Then he pulled a few strands to make Amabel frown. "Sorry, miss. It's for your own good."
Rain doesn't like to be troublesome, but he doesn't like to eat Amabel's weak energy like this. By magic, Amabel's hair had turned into a copper tendril that was now joined to her necklace chain. "This is how I think it's enough. Please don't do anything weird when you're not next to me."
Her index and middle fingers touched Amabel's wrinkled forehead. Amabel's breath returned to normal. "Don't get me wrong, it's for my own good. Not you."
Rain then leaves Amabel. "I'll leave until your exams are over. By then, I wish you were stronger."
Four months passed and Amabel had graduated from Iliyakool. The girl was enjoying her downtime while waiting for Alberto to return from Plodnavor. From the results of the test, Amabel can choose to pursue science, sword or magic. And he chose science, precisely political science and statehood.
Amabel felt that she could learn swordsmanship over time while she felt that the magic taught at Iliyakool was not very interesting. He just felt incompatible with the teacher who taught there.
"Hi, miss customer." The greeting came from a short black-haired man.
Only Rain called him that. As Amabel remembers Rain's long hair and Rain's a girl!
Seeing Amabel's expression made the man in front of her chuckle. "It's me, Rain."
"Rain? You're men?" Ask Amabel not to believe it.
Hearing that made Rain put her hand on her left chest. "Geez, I'm hurt. I never said I was a girl or a boy. I am what you see. Gender is not important. After all, if you only judge from the hair, isn't it embarrassing?"
Amabel felt that she had just been slapped by Rain. Not physically, but through words. The girl immediately bowed, "excuse me."
Rain shook his hand, "no problem. So, why are you sitting here alone?"
Amabel sat back down. He held out the popsicle that Pad Rain had bought. "Waiting."
"Who?" Reply to Rain and eat the ice cream.
Amabel just slicked her shoulder. "Maybe Alberto, maybe Rain. Or maybe just wait if a letter comes along."
Rain nodded, he glanced at Amabel's neck and saw that her necklace was still the same as the last time she left. "So, you've graduated?"
"Yes, two weeks ago." Reply Amabel. "I took political science and statehood. In the final exam I discussed Rezenavor's policies and their relationship to the welfare of society."
Amabel has not had a storytelling friend in a long time. During this time, he only met Alberto a few times because of the busyness of the two. Amabel went to the library more often and checked various recommendation books from Alberto. He also visited Rezenavor several times and was facilitated by a magic train so it only took a little time.
"What are your plans after this?" Rain asked, he looked at Amabel who sniffed her shoulders.
"I don't plan on returning to Plodnavor anytime soon." Answer Amabel. He doesn't know if he's going with Alberto or not. The man will certainly be more busy because public school policies must be implemented during the new school year. "Maybe I'll go alone."
Rain stretched out his hand, making Amabel stare at the man confused. From this close distance, Amabel realized that Rain had golden eyes. "Then go with me. You've studied the book I bought well, but can you control it?"
The question made Amabel bow. He could not control his power. "What are you really, Rain?"
Rain folded his hands in front of dad while smiling proudly. "Of course the greatest witch Yerkink had."
Amabel choked to hear it. Rain has incredible self-confidence. "Well, incredible confidence. Why don't you stay in the tower if it's great?"
Rain laughed when he heard it. "Hoi, kid. The magic tower was only made to control the witches. If I go in there, my freedom will be taken away."
Amabel doesn't know about this. It seems like there are many things he still does not know. Rain stood extending his hand to Amabel's necklace. "You are so strong yet so weak. I even had to seal some of your power so you could live."
"You sealed it?" Amabel asked and touched her necklace. He just realized there is a vine motive in his necklace.
Rain chuckled, "well, I told you not that you're weak. Too bad, when you have great power."
The man turned around. The long journey made him hungry. Amabel hurriedly pulled the sleeves of Rain's robe. "If I go with you, can I be strong?"
Rain scoffed, "i can even make them call you a goddess."
Amabel laughed softly at that. Rain is so overrated. While Rain was serious about his words. "Discuss with Alberto and then just come to me, okay?"
Amabel nodded. He was still Alberto's student. The rest of the day he spent with Rain.
