The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Thirty-Three: The Land of the Elves

Alberto returned with a letter from Duke Lancaster. Only from his parents because neither Alec nor Eli knew of his whereabouts. Amabel wrote a letter to both of them. Alberto not only brought a letter from Duke Lancaster, but also from Prince Hendery and Ryu. Only two of the princes were close to Alberto.

"Alberto, what are your plans after this?" Ask Amabel after dinner. Both of them enjoyed the dessert.

Alberto moved his finger lazily. "This and that. I have to go back to the palace for a long time. The policy on the people's school should be implemented in the new semester, so I have to go directly to the field. Actually, this is what I want to discuss with you as well. Do you still want to come with me?"

Amabel took a breath before replying, "to be honest there is another path I want to take with Rain. I want to control my power, something I didn't meet at the academy."

Alberto pulled out his glass, "alright. I'm not gonna arrest you."

Amabel smiled then bowed slightly. "Thank you for the knowledge you've given me."

Alberto shook his hand. "I just gave you a little I know. With Rain look at a side of the world you've never seen. Find lots of experience, help others, and take advantage of what you can do. Small changes can change the world."

"I'll remember it well." Reply Amabel. "When are you back at the palace?"

Alberto sighed while leaning his body against the bench. "After discussing with the great teacher Iliyakool. What do you want me to say to your parents?"

"Tell me what it is. I'll write them a letter before I leave." Amabel.

Alberto nodded then stood up. His face was tired, "all right. You can give it to me later. I'm first yeah."

Amabel nodded. "Again thanks."

Alberto just shook his hand and walked towards his room. He had to compile a report for Iliyakool and the palace. This policy is so rushed and it has to be perfect. Unfortunately, the court only entrusted the matter to Alberto - though often Alberto asked for Amabel's opinion - so the man had to work hard.

Amabel stepped towards the reception desk and Rain had already raised her hand. "Night, miss. So, Alberto gave us permission and we're leaving tomorrow."

"Tomorrow? Wait, how do you know?" Amabel asked confusedly. He hasn't even said anything yet.

Rain flicked his finger, "I'm a great witch. If that's all of course I know. I even know why you left Plodnavor."

Amabel's gaze instantly changed, "you know?"

Rain held back his smile. "I can hear all the secrets. Humans may be able to hide it, but inanimate objects can make a sound." The man clapped his hands in front of Amabel's face. "I won't say anything if Miss won't tell me. Well, it's better for miss to be prepared because we're leaving tomorrow morning."

Amabel wanted to shake her head, but Rain flicked her finger and her body moved against her will. He went into the room and began to tidy up his belongings. When he finished, his body was under control. It seems Amabel underestimated Rain. The girl grabbed the paper and started writing for her parents. He also wrote a reply letter to Prince Hendery and Ryu. When she finished, Amabel came out of the room and knocked on Alberto's room.

The man came out with glasses on his head. "You want to give me a letter? That's fast."

The silver-haired girl before him nodded. "We'll leave tomorrow." After giving the letter, he took out a bracelet from his magic bag. "I hope this protects you. I made it not long ago."

Alberto smiled as he accepted it. "thank you. I'll definitely wear it. Tomorrow I may not be able to drive you. I don't have any special gifts either, but I hope this helps you." Alberto went into his room and came back with a dark red book. "Magic writing books. If you write something and want to send it, you just have to rip it off. Your writing will appear in the media, wrote the recipient. You just need to write the recipient's name on the left end."

"With this, you can write a letter to your parents." Alberto patted Amabel's shoulder softly. "You've worked hard and I'm proud of your achievements. Keep working hard with Rain."

Amabel smiled widely and nodded. He hugged the book of Alberto tightly. "Thank you, Alberto. Have a good rest."

"Good rest." After that the door closed.

Early in the morning Amabel had left with Rain. Both of them stepped north, tracing the river. "Where are we headed, Rain?" Amabel asked as she followed Rain's long steps.

"The fairy goddamn country." Rain replied while putting his finger on the index finger.

Amabel furrowed her brows. "Why go there? Does the land of the fairies really exist?"

Amabel shook her head, this was the first time she heard. Rain slicked his shoulders, not caring. "Just so. Your power is so strong and pure. Well, no wonder you have Celine's powers. Even you made a deal with Ro. Of course it's proof that you have great power. It's just, how can you control it? In this world, we can't do it. However, we can do it in the land of the fairies."

"Oh, the agreement with Ro." Rain muttered then looked over. "Did the covenant sign fade or did you feel pain?"

Amabel shook her head, "not both. I learned it from the book I bought from you. That effect would only be felt if the spirit of the element did not feel benefited from the covenant." The girl looked at her wrist, "munkin because I have a lot of manna so it doesn't matter."

Rain nodded. Yeah, why worry about an Amabel. "You'll have to break the deal if the emblem turns red."

Amabel nodded. "But, why?"

"That means your life is in danger. Either your energy or manna is not enough to hold the spirit element in the body." Rain grabbed Amabel's hand, noticing the emblem on her wrist. "Don't die silly."

Amabel grieved hearing it. Who wants to die silly? They continued down the river. Amabel was unable to hear any animals anymore. Everything is quiet.

Both stopped next to a waterfall. There was a big tree in front of them. Rain touched the tree. "I am Rain the witch of the West, son of Thales and Amabel the daughter of Lancaster asking permission for the inter-dimensional gates to open." The shape of the sky blue tendrils is created to form a gate. Slowly the tree trunk split and Amabel followed Rain inside.

Amabel like to enter a cave with jewels as decoration. "It's so beautiful."

Rain nodded. "There's something you need to know, one month of being here is the same as one season passing. Move the time faster. It may not feel like it's here, but when it comes back we'll feel it."

Amabel will remember it well. Rain reached out his hand and Amabel grabbed it. "How long we've been here depends on how fast you can control your powers."

When he came out of the cave, Amabel could see a field of flowers with a clear lake. In the middle of the lake was a huge tree and he could see the fairies that lived there. During this time Amabel thought the fairies were small, it turns out their body size is the same. Fairy ears are more pointed and their skin is so white. Their hair is as colorful as a flower.

"The son of Thales," the call came from a long red-haired female elf. The dress is gold and behind it is a troop of trol. "Come with Lancaster's blood."

The fairy's cold hand touched Amabel's chin and her eyes looked as if she was stripping Amabel. "Celine." She hugged Amabel. "Over time we wait."

Rain yawns when Amabel asks for an explanation. The man stepped towards Amabel and released his second embrace. "I came according to the prophecy. Amabel, she's Queen Evangeline, ruler of the fairy land."

Amabel pulled the end of her dress, greeting her formally. "Amabel Lancaster salutes."

Evangeline laughed, "of course we know who you are. Let's go, we've been waiting for you to come."

Amabel followed along with Rain by her side. Along the way he saw the fairies waving and smiling. "If you may know, what prophecy do you mean?"

"The prediction that the reincarnation of Goddess Celine will come with Prince Thales." Answer Evangeline. "So, all his life Prince Thales will wait until you come. They were like dogs waiting for their master. So just treat them like that."

Rain grieved hearing it. "Hoi, don't be so reckless. I am not only the son of Thales, but also a witch from the West!"

"Whatever." Reply Evangeline doesn't care. He opened the door in a big tree. "This tree is where we live. Energy and life source. This is your room and practice as long as you need. I'm going to go now."

"Thank you." Amabel said sincerely.

Evangeline smiled, "i should be thanking you for finally coming."

Then he turned around leaving Rain and Amabel. Rain flicked his finger and a basin was created on the floor. Inside the basin is hot water. Rain flicked his finger and a piece of paper was piled up in front of the sixty-centimeter basin. "Start training. The paper in front of you will fall into the water every twenty seconds and you have five seconds to lift it so it doesn't crumble."

"What is this exercise for?" Ask Amabel.

Rain was already sitting on the rocking chair. "Coach manna. Use the manna to get the paper. Start."

Amabel doesn't even know how to do it. However, Rain had already closed his eyes on the rocking chair.
