The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Thirty-Four: The Full Moon

Amabel had no idea how long she had been in the land of the fairies. Time passed so fast that Amabel did not notice it. From the paper exercise, he can now control the manna that comes out of his body. It can also form manna as desired. They also practiced with their swords and air element abilities.

So much practice that Amabel didn't realize the seven years she spent in her world. Seven years passed so quickly for Arion. Srela's forces have been defeated, even the kingdom of Srela subjugated under his control. He cannot refuse to return to the kingdom now.

"Prince, the army is ready." Arthur said he made Arion nod. The man walked first, accompanied by the troops behind him.

For Arthur who saw the development of Arion, his master was getting colder. On the battlefield, it was as if he was venting anger. His gaze was so firm and cold, in contrast to seven years ago. The look in his eyes was ready to kill.

Seven years is enough to make Arion's heart cool. The people's cheers for his victory did not make him happy. The destroyed villages began to be rebuilt, this time even made a guardrail accompanied by some soldiers who protected the village. In fact, Arion even specifically made a school for children in the village.

"Prince, I hope that when you return to the kingdom you can be happy." Said Arthur.

Arion did not reply, only staring at the blue sky. If it had been seven years, it would have meant that the girl would have been sixteen. Right now, where is he? How's things going? Many things raged on Arion's head and in the end stopped at one name, Amabel.

The news that the kingdom of Srela was defeated by Prince Arion has spread widely. Plodnavor crowded with decorations to welcome the victory of the Prince. The government is not much different either. In particular, His Majesty will make a feast of the people as a welcome of his son.

"I want everything to be perfect. From safety to food." Order Adena. He is responsible for the preparation of the party. "Decorate the whole palace with the finest flowers, the most beautiful fabrics, and the colored lights."

Adena can't wait to meet Arion. Arion is his son. So far there has been no movement from the King, so Adena will not do anything either. He only knew that the daughter of the Lancaster family would also be ordered to go home. Should be with the distance so far, the two will not have a good relationship. That's enough for now.

"The Empress Jovanka greeted Her Majesty." Greetings Jovanka while pulling both ends of her white dress. "Is Her Majesty the Queen busy?"

Adena shook her head with a big smile. "So I was so busy because of my son's welcome party. Empress Jovanka had to try all the food that would be served. I want everything to be perfect according to my Arion tastes."

Jovanka smile. Adena loves her son Arion so much and it is clearly visible. "I thank Your Majesty for being so considerate of Prince Arion. I honestly don't know what Arion tastes like. He's my son, but we don't have much time together."

Gently Adena embraced Jovanka. "Don't grieve. Arion won't change. Maybe physically, but he's still your son. Her taste won't be much different, I'm sure."

"Your Majesty is so generous." Reply Jovanka. "Actually, I want to discuss marriage."

Adena nodded and the two sat in the living room. "yes too. Prince Noah is married. When are we going to have a wedding?"

Jovanka sighed, "i don't know when Princess Amabel will be back. Anyway we should also discuss this with the Lancasters."

Adena nodded, agreeing. There's been a lot of bad talk about Amabel and Arion's engagement. There is news that Arion dumped Amabel and some say Amabel did not like Arion. The two were never seen together, not even having the chance to come to the engagement party. However, this is not good for the impression of both parties.

"I'm sure the King has thought about this. The Empress doesn't have to worry. Perhaps, we can make a formal engagement party for the two when welcoming Arion later." Adena's advice was immediately embraced by Jovanka happily.

"I think it'll be good for both sides. Thank you, Your Majesty." Jovanka meant it.

Adena nodded and the two continued the conversation regarding party preparations. Adena can't see Jovanka as a rival. He doesn't care about love or anything. So, when the King said he would marry Jovanka and give her great love, Adena did not bother. Jovanka is a smart and kind woman. He had no intention of getting rid of anyone, only to give rights to his son.

Amabel smiled knot. His hair was tied together. If Pita saw her hair like this she would definitely screech. Amabel's decision to cut her hair was taken when her hair burned while practicing the fire element. Amabel finally cut her hair.

For noble women, long hair is one of the values of beauty. That's why Amabel's hair is always allowed to cover her back. "Ah, tired." The girl dropped her body on the grass.

"After this we will return to Plodnavor." Said Rain. "You should go back."

Amabel took her breath. He knew it because a letter came to him a few days ago. A letter from the house requesting her return and a letter of invitation from the kingdom. "I want to be here." She and Rain could only look at Amabel.

"Don't run from responsibility, miss. Although you don't like it, but the decision to take the exam you have taken. If, you end up being chosen by pulling the red thread, then you're destined to be with the Prince." Rain played the flower in his hand. "Destiny cannot be changed, miss."

Amabel stretched out her hand, the sky as if she could reach but it was not. Rain looked at Amabel, the girl's eyes blank. "Everyone has their own partner. They've tied a red thread in the little finger. Even if the thread is twisted and tangled, it will eventually return at the same end. No matter how much we shy away, there's a bond called destiny that has more ways to unite."

Amabel could only sigh. He knew that Rain's words were true. "After all, miss' will love that horse knight. So, stop dodging."

"And stop reading my memories." Dengus Amabel.

Rain simply sniffed his shoulders, "if that was of course difficult. Dead things even the wind whispers the memory of the lady. So, how can I pretend not to hear."

"Then what are you gonna do?" The girl changed her position to sit facing Rain. "If I go back to Plodnavor what will you do?"

Rain smiled, "of course come with you."

Amabel nodded and stood up. He extended his hand to Rain. With a single pull Rain was already standing. "Nobody can be sure that the lady can control the power perfectly. I should be next to Miss."

"Thank you then." Reply Amabel, he still holds Rain's hand.

Rain looked at the girl beside him, "just calm down, miss. It's my job to protect you."

"Because of the prophecy." Amabel said while giggling.

Rain nodded, "right."

Wrongfully. He should be beside Amabel because it was a promise he made in the past. Rain would have avoided the misfortune of Amabel's life. He will protect Amabel, even if he has to risk his life.

Rain looked back at Amabel. There are many secrets that he hides from Amabel. Like his relationship with Alberto. Amabel does not know if the two often discuss about her strength. In fact, Alberto knew Rain's plan to teach Amabel to control her powers. The two quite often discussed Amabel and her abilities, agreeing that they should help. However, they will keep it for some time. Maybe until Amabel asked. Or maybe never.
