The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Forty: A New Groove

Morning arrived and Amabel was ready at the dinner table. The girl smiled at her father who was reading the newspaper and her mother who was preparing coffee. "Morning, mama, papa!"

"Morning, Bell." Both are warm. Mary gave Amabel a glass of warm milk. "It's good to see you at this table."

Amabel smiled, "me too, mama."

The door opened with a bang. Elliott came in with his hair still messy. "ah! I thought yesterday was just a dream." He said while holding his chest. "Ah, Bell!"

Again, Amabel gets a hug. "Eli, if it's like this I can't eat." Said Amabel while patting Elliott's hand. The man smiled then ruffled his hair and sat down on Amabel's right side.

Alec arrived shortly afterwards. The man broke Amabel's hair and took a piece of pancake. "Morning, father, mother, Eli, Bell." Sapa Alec while cutting pancakes. "Today I'm going to the palace and finish my business. Maybe I'm not home."

Amabel looked, "do not be too tired." His hand rubbed the top of Alec's head attentively. "Don't push yourself too hard, huh?"

Elliott pressed his lips, loath. "Come! I'm going to the palace too! I am now a staffer at the ministry!"

Amabel turned her head, shocked and happy at the same time. "really? Holy hooch! Just incredible! Big brother is amazing!"

That compliment made Elliott puff his chest, proud. While Mary and John giggled amusedly at the behavior of his children. It was great to see them interacting. "Bel himself how? What's your plan today?" Mary asked as she spread jam on the bread.

"I'm going to the palace too. Anyway I have to salute His Majesty the King and Queen." Amabel said calmly.

Mary nodded, suddenly feeling sad. "Three of my sons went to the palace, and my husband used to work there. I'm the only one who has no business with the palace."

Hearing that made Amabel tick, "though thanks to her upbringing and affection, we could be what we are today. Behind the success of a husband is a great wife. Behind the success of the child there is a tremendous affection from the mother. Although you can't go to the palace every day, you will always take us lovingly."

Mary was moved to hear Amabel's words. "Geez, my son. Your words are so beautiful."

"A palace is just a building. It's warmer here." Amabel added, "probably because this is the home for Bel."

Again, Elliott broke Amabel's hair. "Because here's the house you have to go home, Bel."

"That's why I'm here." Reply Amabel while showing off her row of teeth.

The warmth of the Lancaster family continued until one by one the family members came out of the dining room. Amabel is pulled by Mary to change clothes before going to the palace. Though according to Amabel, her yellow dress was already appropriate for the palace. However, Amabel understands that Mary only wants her to look beautiful. Plus he's long lost the moment to dress up Amabel.

Amabel ended up wearing a dress that was graded red to white, like a rose. The part of the skirt is red with flower decoration. The upper part shows his shoulders and there is a flower decoration on the arm. A gold necklace wrapped around Amabel's neck, aligned with the earrings on her ears. His silver hair was carried with a flower decoration, but still left a child of hair that fell out naturally.

Her lips and cheeks are pink. Sweet and simple. Mary hugged Amabel tightly. Her daughter is so beautiful. "Now my mom is happy."

Amabel's laughter sounded smooth. "Mama's happy for dressing me up? How simple."

Amabel's swipe even made Mary look at her daughter's cheek. "A mother will be happy to see the clothes she chooses are used by her child. Simple but satisfied. Well, now let's go. The sun will be too high if you haven't left yet."

Mary put a white robe around Amabel's neck. "Wear this, the current autumn wind is already cold enough."

Amabel hugged Mary tightly and held her hand as she walked through the corridor. His father went to see Duke Hamilton. Oh, the old Duke Hamilton error, Alnorth's father. Amabel's horse-drawn carriage was waiting, with Pita and Elle. "I went to the palace first. I'll be home before sunset."

Pita smiled, "if you want to meet the Prince there's no need to rush home."

"Hm, enjoy your time." Add Mary with a jail smile.

Amabel snorted to hear it then boarded the horse carriage with the help of Elle. "Bye bye!" He said while waving at the window.

The girl leaned her body. "Yo, miss!" The greeting came from Rain.

Amabel jumped, shocked. Fortunately, he did not scream. "You! Why is it here? Holy hooch! Please don't show up like this all of a sudden."

Rain only grinned while displaying the V emblem with his finger. "I came to answer your letter."

Amabel sighed, "so what did you find?"

"Trol that Miss met in Tiagar was already controlled by the black magician. I don't know who, but those witches are paid for by someone. Their target is not you, but Prince Arion. They don't seem to realize that you're Amabel Lancaster." Clearly Rain was staring at his fingernails. "For now I'm trying to figure out who did that. I just need energy."

Amabel understands Rain's request. So, he stretched out his hand and Rain cheerfully directly pressed his palm. To be honest every time Rain took energy from her, she felt her body become lighter. "Ah, now it's better." Said Rain while doing a stretch. "Miss, if you cut the nail, please give it to me."

"When you met you took my hair now ask for my nails. You want to make a voodoo doll?" Ask Amabel, suspicious. "You want to torture me?"

Rain laughed when he heard it. "Miss is so funny. I don't need a soldier to torture a dirty man. I'm much stronger at killing humans with a snap of a finger."

Sometimes Amabel forgets that Rain has extraordinary qualities. Too confident means. "That's it. You better go and find someone else to bother with."

Rain flicked his finger, "miss if you want to meet the Queen make sure you sit firmly. Look him straight in the eye and say what you want to say. If it doesn't hurt, the Queen will allow it."

After that, Rain disappeared. Totally random. Didn't even let Amabel ask any further.

Alterio sighed when he found out that Jeanne had locked herself in the room. He had heard the news about Duke Prada's punishment, which led Jeanne to destroy the belongings in her room. Alterio could understand his wife's behavior. Jeanne grew up as a girl who upheld the dignity and worth of her father. He did not grow up as a knight who would admit wrongdoing, so different from Alterio.

The man sighed, wanting to comfort but afraid of mispronouncing. Unlike her, Ian and Kenan look ordinary. Too ordinary. Alterio wanted to ask, but in this room too many people.

"You guys here turned out to be." Noah said and immediately hugged Kenan. "Son, I've heard the news. Is sister-in-law okay?"

Noah really. Alterio covered his face, unable to bear his sister's careless mouth. "He's kind. Don't worry."

"What if Dorothy's sister?" Ask Ian Noah. The man nodded, "good."

Alterio simply replied with a grin. "That's how."

Noah hugged Ian, patting him on the back several times. "So it must be strong."

"Noah, you're a big boy. So sitting on my lap feels really heavy." Ian said however, Noah even tightened his embrace.

"Aaa, I love big brother." Noah hugged Ian even stronger, no matter that his brother had trouble breathing.

Of course Ian had already heard the news of the punishment given by his uncle. Ian is not a naive man, he knows his uncle's fault so why cry over it? It is better to spend his energy working.

"Oh," Noah suddenly stood up. "So I met Amabel!"

"He's back?" Ask Kenan. "Suddenly so."

Alterio immediately smiled widely. "He's back with Arion! When I hear it, I smile to myself. They're so sweet."

Noah was excited to hear it. "really? How could? Tell me!"

Alterio brushed his hair back and stood up. "Seek to Arion. You guys should see her red face. Well, I'll go first."

Noah grieved hearing it. Alterio's really annoying. "Sister, I'll find Arion's brother first!" Then she ran out of the room. Some of the servants who saw it were astonished.

Kenan raised his tea cup. "Are you sure you're okay?"

Hearing that even made Ian's eyebrows rise. "certain. What do I have to be? Crying over that stupid uncle will only waste the emotions I have."

Kenan smiled, looking at Ian. He rattled his sister's hair and stood up. "It's not about your uncle, it's Amabel."

"What does brother mean?" Reply Ian, pretend not to understand.

Kenan smiled back. "Something." He sniffed his shoulders, "you should know best what I mean. I'm going, see you."

After Kenan left Ian could only fall silent in his place. Before long, Ian stood up and left the room. She's doing just fine.

Amabel is now in the park with the Queen. Both of them enjoyed a cup of tea with a sweet treat. The girl had just finished meeting the King when she met the Queen. "How are you?"

Amabel smiled, "all right."

Adena put down her tea cup and looked at Amabel. "So you've found strength?"

Hearing that Amabel immediately shook her head. "For seven years I have been too busy seeking knowledge to find strength."

Amabel didn't lie. While in Iliya, he planned to approach the chairman of Iliyakool but failed because of the focus on learning. Adena sipped her tea. "Dearly enough. What about the wedding?"

"I still haven't decided." Reply Amabel. Although his relationship with Arion is good enough, he still doubts about marriage.

Adena circled the head of the cup with her finger. "I'll ask before my son's welcome party starts. You knew at the party that your engagement would be, didn't you?"

Amabel nodded in response. "I'll think about it well."

"You do realize that Arion loves you, don't you?" Reply Adena. Hearing that Amabel's back was vertical. Adena smiled at Amabel's reaction. "Marry him or you'll see him become a knight for life."

Again, Amabel was surprised. "What does His Majesty mean?"

Adena went back around her tea cup. "You heard it clearly."

If he becomes a knight, Arion will serve the kingdom without marriage. Amabel's head is turning. He doesn't know about this. Adena looked at Amabel's facial expression and pulled out her teacup. "I'd rather see my son become a knight all his life. Marry her, this is my request as her mother."

Amabel lowered her head, Rain's words about talking to the Queen suddenly disappeared. "I understand."

Adena nodded then stood up. "A fun time. I'm leaving."

"Goodness to Her Majesty the Queen." Mumbled Amabel.

Marriage huh? Amabel looked up, looking up at the blue sky. He was not ready for it, but would he let Arion live as a knight? It would be selfish for Amabel to let Arion live alone. Amabel doesn't want Arion to be lonely. The girl sighed and then stood up. He stepped back into the palace.

Adena is so different. Although he hates about Arion ascending the throne, but he hates to think about Arion living alone. Regarding the throne, Adena can think about it later. However, about Arion he can not ignore it.

Amabel stepped forward without looking forward so she hit the pillar. It is tight enough to leave a red mark. "You all right?" The outstretched hand in front of her made Amabel turn her head.

His eyes were round when he saw Ian. "ah! Prince Ian. How are you?" Amabel asked, standing alone while rubbing her forehead. Ian looked at his hand then pulled it into his pants pocket. "Are you healthy?"

"Let's stop talking and get your sword." Ian and Amabel immediately smiled broadly.

"Sure! Let's see who wins. If I win, what will I get?" Ask Amabel, still smiling.

"Whatever you want." Reply Ian, looking at Amabel softly.

Amabel shook her hand, "ey, don't do that. I just want a cake."

Ian nodded. "All right then."
