The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Forty-One: The Duel

When Amabel and Ian arrived on the pitch, Alec and Arion were already there. Both are competing. "Eh? Brother?" Said Amabel, confused because her brother was even here not in his room.

"Why are they fighting?" Ian turned to Amabel and the girl shook her head. "I just found out they're close."

Amabel doesn't even know the two are close. Since when? It seems like the two are never close. Or Alec never told you?

Amabel and Ian watch the match between Alec and Arion. Both are equally strong. Equally playing like the wind, even his footsteps looked so light. "So cool sister!" Quiet Amabel's stuck.

Ian glanced at me, not liking. "My sister is cooler."

Amabel glanced at me, not liking. "My brother is cooler!"

"My sister is better! He even defeated Srela's army at a young age." Reply Ian while boasting Arion.

Amabel screeched, "my brother is the best swordsman in the academy. Even the Prince was taught by my brother!"

"Your brother was never on the battlefield. My sister once and came home triumphant." Ian folded his hands, looking at Amabel disdainfully.

Amabel fanned her face, hot and upset. "Although so my brother has even defeated the royal army."

After that, the two gasped for shouting at each other. Both Amabel and Ian turned their backs on each other. Alterio who had been there since seemed to have been in the same situation. It feels like a flashback. Finally he approached the two and patted their shoulders together. "Yes! Your quarrels are like little children."

Alterio immediately retreated and released his hand on the shoulders of the two. Alterio felt like he wanted to return to the palace because Amabel and Ian were looking at him sharply. "Okay, I lost. We better watch the two in peace."

Despite still exchanging sharp glances, Amabel and Ian went back to watch the match. It's too fierce to predict who's going to win. "Oh!" He screamed unconsciously. Alec had just made Arion fall, but the man got up easily. The back is fierce because Alec immediately attacked without pause, while Arion only withstood the attack. The two retreated, gave some distance, and took a breath. Then run to get to each other. The swords of the two met with a loud sound and the swords both bounced together.

"So who won?" Alterio asked, confused.

Amabel judged the situation then clapped her hands. "Series."

"Don't Arion throw Alec's sword first?" Ian asked and Amabel immediately hissed. "Don't joke, Prince. Both their swords met and were thrown together."

"Ah, start again." Alterio complained and kept the two away. "Please keep your distance. Don't be noisy."

Amabel suddenly pulled out her sword, dragging it towards Ian. His eyes were fiery. "Let's finish it, Prince."

Ian nodded and pulled out his sword as well. "This time I'll win."

"Huh," laughs Amabel. "Dream."

Alec and Arion looked at the two, puzzled. "What did they do?" Ask both at the same time.

Alterio waved his hand at Alec and Arion. "Good work, guys." He then gives drinks to Alec and Arion. "If they're confused, they want to fight."

Amabel pulled both ends of her dress and tied it tight. His hair also he tied one, making it easier to move. "Prince, if you lose this time you're really bad. Very lousy."

Ian snorted, in disbelief. "Geez, your confidence is really amazing sucks."

Amabel smiled, "i learned and am an expert."

"Good for you." Reply Ian with a stale face. "Let's start."

The two raised their respective swords, saluting. Then the two turned and turned to each other. After three steps away, Amabel took a breath. He did not know Ian's current ability and vice versa. The moment the girl turned around, Ian had already dashed towards her. Amabel quickly avoided.

"May also." Praise Amabel and run towards Ian. The sound of metal sounded intensely in the ears of the two. Smiles were created on the lips of both of them. "The Prince's abilities have already developed."

Ian smiled, displaying his teeth. "of course. A lot of time has passed, it must evolve."

Both Amabel and Ian looked like they were dancing with swords. Looks beautiful and fun. Unlike Alec and Arion who seem to want to kill each other.

"The movement is getting smoother." Praise Arion while watching the movements of her friend and sister. "Ian's ability is growing rapidly, isn't it, Rio."

Alterio nodded and gave his thumb. "He's trying really hard for this." Alterio patted Arion's shoulder. "Your betrothed beat Arion seven years ago. That's why he's working so hard."

"He's a vengeful." Reply Alec while nodding. And Alterio couldn't agree more than that.

Since then Ian continues to attack the left side of Amabel, probably because Ian is left-handed while Amabel attacks with the right hand. The girl noticed how Ian was holding his body weight with his right leg. There's a gap in the left foot, like seven years ago. The wind blows and Amabel deliberately bends down to pick up the sand then throws it towards Ian. When Ian had trouble seeing, Amabel immediately attacked, and managed to throw Ian's field.

"I don't accept. That's cheating!" Ian shouted, rubbing his eyes. "Oh, my eyes are sore."

Amabel smiled, extending her hand to help Ian stand up. "In the real battlefield we won't know the enemy's tactics, Prince. I gave that experience to the Prince."

Ian grumbled with Amabel's excuse. He let Amabel pull her body. Both of them stepped towards the training building. When the two had arrived, Arion immediately separated the two - who were still holding hands. "What the hell?" Ask Amabel doesn't understand.

The girl then approached Alec. "Don't see, right? I'm great, aren't I?"

Alterio looked at his two brothers and then ruffled his hair together. "Ugh, to me Ian and Alterio are the greatest. Good work you two."

Amabel and Alec chuckle at the behavior of the three. "If just following around isn't good, Rio." Ledek Alec while tidying up Amabel's dress. She even patted the dirty part of the dress.

"Business!" Hearing the call immediately made Amabel turn her head. Rachel ran towards him then the two hugged while jumping. "ah! I miss you."

Rachel touched Amabel's shoulder and examined her entire body. "No scars, you look good." He then hit Amabel many times. "Where have you been all this time, huh? What am I for you? Could've left without telling me."

Amabel covered her face, ashamed. "Rahel, you can be mad at me somewhere else."

The girl was finally aware of the existence of the Prince and Duke Lancaster. He greeted the four men in front of him. "I'm sorry for my indecision, Prince, Duke. I am Rachel, the wife of the Prince of the Seven, greeting." Rachel then turned her head, to Dorothy who had been standing up. "Me and Empress Dorothy were walking around when they saw Rosemary here."

Alec smiled at Rachel. Now Vincent's brother is growing up. "No problem, continue your conversation in the park. We'll be here longer."

Dorothy looked at Ian from where he was and the man gave a small nod, enough to make Dorothy smile. Amabel looked at the four men before her and greeted her. "Then we say goodbye, Prince, ka-Duke."

Rachel and Dorothy saluted. Afterwards Rachel immediately embraced Amabel's hand, tightly. "You owe me a lot of stories!" He threatened her while looking at Amabel.

"Yes, yeah, get it." Reply Amabel then turned to Dorothy who was walking behind. "Why did the Empress walk so far?"

Rachel clucked and patted her forehead. He then grabbed Dorothy's hand. "Come, Dorothy. We'll spend the afternoon in my room with a cup of tea and sweet treats!" Rachel again embraces Amabel's arm. Now they walk like chains and that makes Amabel chuckle. He hasn't spent a long time with a girl friend.

The three sat around a table in front of the palace garden of Empress Rachel. Each Empress was given a private palace opposite the lake and the main palace garden. While the Prince could choose to sleep in the main palace or the palace of the Empress. Indeed, the Queen's palace is not as big as the main palace, but each palace of the Empress has a unique character that describes the personality of each Empress.

Like the palace of Rachel who is pink and yellow shows her carefree personality. Rahel's palace is also decorated with a tone piece on the wall. There are various types of musical instruments in this palace because Rachel really likes to play music.

"So, where have you been so far as not being able to tell me?" Rahel asked while looking at Amabel sharply.

Amabel smiled, holding back her laughter because Rachel looked funny instead. "I went to Iliya to study. And for a few years after studying elsewhere. The point is all this time I went to study."

Rachel sighed, knowing that Amabel would not go further. The girl grabbed Amabel's hand and rubbed it gently. "I'm glad you're back safely."

"Thank you and sorry for worrying you." Amabel's reply was sincere. He then turned to Dorothy, "Well, can I call you Dorothy, by the way?"

Dorothy was stunned to hear Amabel's request, but then she nodded. "certain."

Amabel put her hand on her chest with a sweet smile. "Then call me Amabel. But, if you want you can call me Rosemary too. That's my middle name."

Dorothy put down her cup and straightened her body to look at Amabel. He smiled faintly, "i'll call you Amabel then."

Rachel clapped her hands, happy that the two were familiar. He then pulls Amabel's hand, making the girl focus on him. "Oh, tell me how did you get along with the second and third Princes? I mean Prince Ian and Prince Alterio. Don't take it for granted, Dorothy, it's just that your husband is unbelievably cold and scary."

Rachel with her mouth. For a long time it seemed that Amabel did not hear Rachel as blunt as this. Yes, of course because the last they spoke was before entering the palace. Right, after entering the palace the two did not have time to have a casual conversation like this. "Ah, right Dorothy is the wife of Prince Ian. Don't be too taken for Rachel's words, she's just too honest."

Rachel pinched her lips, but then sniffed her shoulders indifferently. Amabel smiled again as she recalled the match. The little thing that made Dorothy's heart stop for a moment. "The first time I met Prince Ian and Prince Alterio was in the city center. There was an unpleasant incident that brought Prince Ian to take me on a match. After almost eight years we finally fight again." Amabel wags her hair, proud. "And of course I won twice in a row."

"Aish, this arrogant girl!" Upset Rachel while holding back the vexation while Amabel laughed.

In her place, Dorothy could only stare at the interactions of the two companions. There was a feeling of dislike when I saw Amabel and Ian together. Especially when looking at Ian's soft gaze when looking at Amabel. Dorothy was jealous and this was disturbing.

Jeanne crumpled up the letter she had just finished reading. Afterwards, he burned the letter and stared out the window. At the same time he saw Dorothy with a silver-haired woman. Even though she hadn't seen him in a long time, Jeanne knew it was Amabel.

"Princess Lancaster." Then he closed the window. Jeanne turned around and there was already a man in a black robe.

"Good night, Princess Prada." Greet the man in front of him. Her head covering had fallen off and Jeanne could see black eyes staring at her. "I came to help you get revenge."

Jeanne clasped her dress tightly. "I haven't decided yet."

The man smiled, scary. "It is not you who decide. Everything was planned. Be careful not to get hurt."

"It's your job to take care of me." Reply Jeanne flat.

The man before him laughed, shrill. "really. It's just that the pay for it hasn't paid off. So, be careful."

Then it disappeared, leaving behind a small red paper. There was only a red moon on it. Jeanne grabbed it and put the paper in the top desk drawer. He hasn't decided yet.

However, if he did avenge his father's death maybe he would. For the sake of his father, it was the honor of his family.
