Arion extended his hand before Amabel after the two had finished eating. "Can I be with you?"
Amabel grabbed it and nodded. However, Arion did not take Amabel to the dance floor. The two stepped towards the park, the music still sounding. Arion put his fingers together and wrapped his left hand around Amabel's waist. The two danced slowly, accompanied by music that was faintly heard.
"The party owner should be in there." Ledek Arion, his hand easily twisted Amabel's body.
"Your Majesty kidnapped me here." Reply Amabel while saluting, the sign of the dance is both over. Arion stepped forward, standing by Amabel's side. "After this we will be very busy."
Arion nodded, unable to agree more than that. "Wedding and coronation party yes."
Amabel could only nod her head. Both of them were silent, busy with their own thoughts. Arion still doesn't like the idea of being the next successor. From the beginning he preferred to take care of security, rather than manage the kingdom. Instead of taking care of ministers, Arion prefers to take care of troops and strategies. Yet if he could he would prefer to rule Srela - the kingdom he had defeated - rather than having to administer the kingdom of Yerkink.
"I don't really like the idea of being Crown Princess." Amabel finally after a long time of detention. Only Arion can say this without worrying about punishment or anything else. "You know long ago I didn't really like power and the throne. I never thought the King would choose us. I mean, your chances of becoming Crown Prince are certainly huge, but I still don't think this is happening. I don't like it."
A sigh rang out from Arion's mouth. "I get. I am the same. I never wanted to get involved in royal politics. That's why I'd rather take care of the war and the security of the kingdom. Compared to me, Brother Kenan is better able to be in this position. His political ability is outstanding and he has many ideas for progress. I don't know what you chose me for."
The wind rustled, dancing slowly past the bodies of the two. Arion took off his suit and put it on Amabel's shoulder. He tidied the suit while looking at Amabel. "Only, I'm sure you'll be my best queen. You're a woman of extraordinary ability, Bel. If the time comes, stand by my side, not behind me to set Yerkink."
Amabel's heart was beating, fast and creating a red sponge on her cheek. Arion does not know how this speech brings hope to Amabel. Standing next to her meant that Arion wanted to rule the kingdom with Amabel. The girl can jump right in, not just be a helper behind the scenes. "Are you serious? The ministers will probably refuse."
Arion smiled broadly. "I am still the king. As long as a Queen gives good input why should it be made difficult? We can change it. The first thing I want to change is the position of women in the government strata. I want women in the future to be able to sit in the positions they want."
Hearing that was enough to make Amabel smile. "You're going to be an amazing king. Arion, more than anything, know that your position is not above the people, but below them. You work for their welfare not to make them difficult. In this rich country, never once have you made the people feel poor. That's what you have to remember."
Arion never wrongly chose Amabel to be his life companion. His thinking is absolutely incredible. For a girl to think so makes Arion feel Yerkink got a good candidate for Queen. Amabel is the best Queen candidate who thinks more of the people than she does. If Arion rules over other areas with war and might, Amabel can unite with love and understanding. His sharp gaze seemed to be able to see the whole inside of a person while his gentle gaze could make one's heart feel safe. Amabel has the qualities of a Queen.
"As long as you're his queen there won't be any problems. I can handle anything." Arion patted the top of Amabel's head, several times with a gentle smile on his face. If anyone saw it, no one would have thought that the man in Amabel's presence was the man who killed over 1,000 people in one night. No one would have thought that the sword on his waist had been covered in blood with such a gentle smile.
Amabel touched Arion's hand. Both hands were still on his head. "Arion, I've learned in recent days that human life is very short. Promise me that whatever happens you will remain king. A king who can unite the country and bring prosperity. In this land, you will bring happiness after wiping away tears and all hardships."
Arion shook his head, "if human life is short, then I'll make sure my time and your time end together."
Amabel's gaze changed, sad. "Don't. If my time ends first, you must stay alive. You have to stay because the only reason to live is not just me. So promise me you'll be King no matter what."
"Why did it suddenly become stubborn, Bel?" Ask Arion, worried. "So, what happened?"
"nothing. I just want to see Yerkink led by a King like you." Reply Amabel, his hand still holding Arion's hand on his head. "I want you to promise."
Arion finally nodded, "alright. I can't beat your head hard anyway."
Amabel's smile was created, revealing a row of her teeth. "I think we should go inside. We've been here too long."
Arion immediately reached out his hand and clasped Amabel's hand, tightly. The dance floor is still crowded with some couples who seem to have just entered the approach level.
"His daughter is here!" The call came from Rachel with Noah. Amabel immediately smiled broadly and hugged Rachel. "Happy birthday. May you always be given salvation. It's a gift from me and Noah."
Amabel gladly accepted the box. "thank you. Rachel, have you seen those cookies over there?"
Rachel nodded, her eyes twinkling can't lie. "I've tasted all the food while you're busy making out with the Crown Prince."
Amabel's cheeks turned red. "Don't tease me."
Rachel chuckled, "oh, I have to go back to the palace. I'll be gone tomorrow morning."
"Where?" Ask Amabel, curious.
Rachel put her finger directly in front of her lips. "Consecret. It's our honeymoon. If the place is good I'll tell you."
"alright. Be careful on the way." Amabel hugged Rachel again, tighter. "When I come back I'll see you."
Rachel smiled, wide. "certain. I'll inform you when I arrive. See you, Rosemary."
"See you later, Rachel." Amabel waved her hand at Rachel who was now embracing Noah's hand. Seeing the two happy involuntarily made Amabel smile.
"They are compatible." Praise Arion who has stood by Amabel's side. His hands were wrapped around Amabel's waist. "I heard they're going for another honeymoon."
Amabel nodded. "Rahel looks so happy. I'm grateful."
"Dum!" Alec and Elliott approached the two together. Then looking at Arion's dislike hand, made the man pull his hand. "Come, come. Someone wants to meet." Say both, simultaneously.
Amabel can only stare at Arion, without being able to explain the situation. Both of her sisters are still not willing to fully see Arion making out and touching Amabel that easily. They stopped in front of two beautiful women. One with cherry-red lips and one with a dress covered in a suit.
"Good night, I'm Amabel Rosemary Lancaster. Thank you for coming to my party." Sapa Amabel while giving her salute. He then turned to his two brothers alternately with both hands in front of his stomach. "Sister, introduce to me who is this charming woman in front of me?"
Amabel's eyes immediately shone, "really? It's an honor to meet you, Sofia. Uh, can I call you that?"
Sofia smiled at Amabel's behavior. Really sweet and polite. His way of speaking was so carefree, yet neither ridiculing nor condescending. "of course. I gladly accepted the offer."
Amabel's gaze focused on the cherry-red-lipped female. Elliott raised the link of his second hand. "He's Maya Athens. Pretty, right? Pretty, right?"
Amabel clucked, staring at Elliott. "Sister, instead of saying something that's clearly better off your hand. Miss Athens looks uncomfortable."
Miss Athens said, Maya whispered in her heart. No one ever called him that because he was just a commoner. Amabel advanced, grabbing Maya's hand gently. He smiled, so charming and hypnotic. "Miss, please forgive my sister. He is the type who acts without thinking. I'm sure he must have said something strange, so for all his behavior I'm sorry."
Elliott pouted straight away. "I didn't say anything! Just saying the facts!"
Amabel narrowed her eyes, suspicious of excess. "Surely my brother said something crazy at the first meeting."
Elliott was silent, as if he had been shot. How could his sister know?
Maya chuckles at hearing it. Amabel immediately smiled, "later miss smiled as well. That's more suitable for miss."
Maya woken. Amabel notices, while Maya instead has her own assessment of Amabel. She's ashamed. Amabel patted Maya's shoulder, calming. "Enjoy the party."
Amabel looked at the two women in front of her. "Both of my brothers in the future will definitely be more troublesome, so please help him. Although troublesome, I will make sure my two brothers will always look after and make Miss Athens and Sofia smile." Amabel smiled, wide then bowed. "Please take good care of my brother."
He then showed off a smile with his teeth. "Enjoy the party! I gotta get back there. Bye bye!"
After Amabel leaves, Alec invites Sofia to get a glass of wine. While Elliott and Maya still stand in the same place. Maya taps her hair behind her ear. "Your sister is amazing." Praise Maya.
Elliott smiled broadly, as if he were Amabel's parents. "certain. He's my brother."
"I guess he'll comment on my appearance." Maya finally said.
Elliott looked over, looking at Maya in confusion. "You look beautiful as always. I don't see any problems."
This time Elliott's praise had an influence on Maya. He's feeling a little nervous. Just slightly. "My body curves and my lips are so red. It's not something to wear to a noble's party, is it?"
Elliott tilted his head while touching his chin. "Then why? You're comfortable with this look, aren't you? As long as you're comfortable I don't see any problems."
This time someone told Maya. All this time he only gets ridicule and insults. Elliott's speech was Maya's grip all along and he said it plainly. "I'm sure Amabel thought so. My sister is harder to manage than she looks. He made a big decision at the age of eight. He's better at using a sword than I am. He never showed us his wounds. And he's the reason I got to meet you. Therefore you do not need to change to adjust to the existing standards. Because I like you for who you are."
Compliments spoken without a second thought, sweet advice filled with words of seduction without preparation, and a stern look that highlighted affection made the inside of Maya move. It was as if there were thousands of butterflies moving together, tickling his stomach. The butterfly effect that made her face blush in embarrassment.
Elliott is a dangerous creature. Maya has to keep her distance. However, Elliott had already pulled him away from the wall he had just built. "I want to grow and age with you. Think about it, please."
The wall he was trying to build had already turned into dust. Elliott successfully invaded Maya.
"So, why are you taking me?" Sofia asked as she turned the wine glass in her hand.
Alec raised his eyebrows, as if in disbelief at the question being asked. "really Sofia? After last night you threw up in my suit?"
Sofia immediately covered her face, embarrassed. "Don't talk about it."
"You started it." Reply Alec is upset.
Sofia sighed and put down her glass. "You introduced me to your sister, Alec. He asked me to take care of you, leave you exactly. Those are words for a brother-in-law, you know?"
"Yes, then?" Reply Alec casually.
"We're just friends." Press Sofia.
Alec came forward, drawing his face closer to Sofia. "Friends won't spend the night together."
Sofia directly pushed Alec's body, her face flushed red. "Don't make people misunderstand!"
Alec chuckled, "you kissed me and said you wanted to fall in love with me."
"And you don't have a problem with that?" Sofia asked, not understanding.
Alec pulled the tip of his lips, "during that time I didn't find any problems."
All boundaries of friendship were broken that night.
