The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Forty Nine: Beginning

"Damian salutes the King." A long brown-haired knight entered. On his armor were patches of blood that had dried up. "The rebels are beginning to enter Plodnavor."

The king sighed. Alberto who had been standing next to him could only fall silent. In fact, even though he knew many things, he still felt disbelief in this incident. The rebels had entered Plodnavor at the time of the Crown Prince's wedding only counting days. They cannot take any rash steps. The invitations began to arrive and if they knew the situation the situation would get worse.

Alec came forward, greeting the King. "Baginda, if you allow me and the troops will guard the border area. We will also enter the inn to search for the rebels."

Hearing that made Alnorth come forward, "Duke, you can't do that. If we enter the inn and check each guest then the invitation from another country can feel unsafe. Right now all we can do is watch their movements. First guard the entrance gate to Plodnavor, both gates of the palace, and lastly continue to be guarded for 24 hours. That's what I can think of right now."

Ian-who had been appointed Duke to lead Loftnavor-nodded in agreement. "I think that in addition to the guard outside the palace, we should also start enlisting the knights and other workers in the palace. The more people come in and out, the more we're careless about the workers."

Ian became Duke after lengthy consideration and recommendation from Empress Freya. Especially since Jeanne-the heir-can't fill the seat as Duke. The reason is because Jeanne was married and the woman never got the teaching to be Duke. On the other hand, Ian was the first child of Freya Prada and in the end the title of Duke and head of the Prada family was given to him.

The king nodded, agreeing to the idea. "Then, Duke Lancaster will oversee the guard in the border area and the city. Then Duke Hamilton will be watching around the palace and Duke Prada will be watching inside the palace. Don't be seen, be a shadow and then attack like a light."

The three dukes before him nodded. Yanha sighed, of course this will happen. The change of leader will always be tinged with rebellion. "Call the Crown Prince, however he must know this state."

Alberto nodded and immediately stepped out. As the door closed, Alberto looked at him and sighed. This fate, can he change it? The man immediately shook his head after. He must be crazy. Fate is not something that he can change at will. If he did, fate would run more wild and terrible than it should.

Arion decides to meet Amabel after he finishes talking to the King. Throughout the journey, the man kept thinking. He knows that the security of the kingdom, maybe even the state, is at stake. That fact made her want to take Amabel out as far as possible. He wants to protect Amabel.

Unknowingly he had arrived at the Lancaster residence. The man got off his horse-drawn carriage and was greeted by a servant. "Greet me to the Crown Prince."

Arion nodded and gave a sign for the servant to stand up. "I'm here to see the Princess."

The waiter immediately smiled brightly and nodded. "Let me drive to the living room. The Princess is trying on some dresses in her room."

Arion was silent. He sat on a chair facing the Lancaster family painting. It's a new painting. Amabel stood next to her two brothers, while their parents sat in front. A warm family portrait with a smile that others envy. Amabel looks beautiful in the painting. He smiled faintly, then looked at the portrait of Amabel next to the family painting.

Can Arion keep that smile? Arion. It's just, he wants to take care of Amabel and all the precious things in his life.

The sound of knocking on the door brought Arion back to reality. The man turned his head and found Amabel in a pastel blue dress. Her hair was beautifully cut. Amabel looks awesome.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. I have to change clothes first." He then gave his greetings. "Amabel Lancaster greeted the Crown Prince, Arion Walcott."

The corner of Arion's lips lifted, Amabel still gave her greetings. "Sit down, I have something to say."

The girl looked at Arion's face and realized that whatever was to be said must be a big deal. Amabel sat down, letting a waiter put tea for her then looked at Arion. "What's wrong?"

"I've just met the King." Arion. His body bent, holding the weight of the body on both his hands and his thighs. "The rebels are entering Plodnavor and will most likely attack at the wedding."

Amabel fell silent, listening carefully. Arion did not turn his head, coming into focus on his own thoughts. "Our wedding party will be a coronation event as well. That day the palace gates will be opened and of course security is reduced. This is an opportunity for the rebels."

Of course Amabel was surprised, he forgot about it because he focused on wedding preparations. In addition, these days he also accompanied Rachel, making her forget about the security of the kingdom. "What worries you?"

Arion. He straightened his body and turned his head, looking at Amabel straight. "Everything. About the safety of my people, my family, and you."

Hearing that made Amabel laugh. "I? Hey, Prince, don't worry I can take care of myself when you have to protect the others. My sword skills can't be underestimated, can you?"

Arion snorted, of course. Amabel's sword ability was above average, it could even be said to be on par with Arthur. Amabel can also control the manna well. Amabel grabbed Arion's hand, grasping it gently. "Don't worry, things may not be okay, but they'll all be over. We have things to look after, don't we? Then we must be strong. Arion, when you hesitate to act, the enemy can see it. So, never hesitate when the sword is in your grasp."

Arion looked at Amabel, he covered his face with his hands while chuckling. "really. Why would I doubt?"

Amabel stretched out her hand, holding Arion in her arms. At that moment, Arion realized that he did not hesitate, but was afraid. Arion is afraid something bad will happen to Amabel. "Don't worry, I can take care of myself."

Arion closed his eyes. Amabel's words did not dispel her worries. The image of Celine fusing with nature returns in Arion's memory, leading her to hug Amabel so tightly. "I don't want to lose you again."

Amabel doesn't understand why Arion says it again? But, he smiled. "Arion, even before we met unplanned. If you were my destiny, we would definitely meet. Keep meeting until we're together."

The wedding day arrived. Along the way Plodnavor is decorated with fresh flowers and white cloth. People dress up in their best clothes. The shops closed to congratulate the bride.

Of course it is natural because this is not only a wedding feast but also the surrender of the throne. Of course, busyness is not only done by those who are happy with the wedding day. But also the people who prepared the rebellion. Until the wedding day arrives, one by one they move. The knights inside the palace one by one were replaced without anyone noticing.

Plus the number of visits in the palace made the security slowly start to collapse. Although Ian and his troops have been working hard, the rebels have been more prepared. It was like fighting those who prepared themselves for years with those who had just prepared themselves the night before. Of course those who had just prepared themselves one night before would lose. The rebels had taken control of the palace for too long and it was realized by the palace itself.

The rebel knights stared at each other, they had prepared. Some set themselves up on a second-floor balcony with arrows in hand. However, Arion's forces have been stationed all over the palace without being noticed by the enemy. Arion's military forces had become so used to being a shadow that they easily acted like invited guests.

The wedding party begins.

Amabel walks on the ice with a red carpet. On the right side, the father held her tightly. I did not expect this day to finally come. The dress is white with beautiful ornaments at the waist and end of the dress. Her hair was rolled up and her head was inlaid with a white head covering.

Elliott sat next to his mother, while Alec stood near the entrance with Ian and Alnorth. "Father, thank you for being the best papa. I love you."

John looked over, moved by Amabel's words. "Thank you for growing up to be the perfect daughter. Papa loves you too. This time I hope you can find happiness with the Prince."

Amabel nodded, she let go of her father's hand and grabbed Arion's hand. The wedding ceremony begins. The palms of Amabel and Arion meet, making an appointment with a happy smile. "Amabel Rosemary Lancaster, are you willing to be the wife of Arion Saverio Walcott? Are you willing to be a wife and a companion for her? Are you willing to take the burden of being Queen of Yerkink and stand by His Majesty the Crown Prince?"

"Yes, I'm ready." Amabel answered without hesitation. With Arion, he believes he can do many things together.

The priest nodded, now looking at Arion. "Arion Saverio Walcott, are you willing to accept Amabel Rosemary Lancaster in joy and sorrow? Can you accept everything-"

Arion turned his head, pulled out his sword and threw an arrow that shot towards Amabel. The hall was immediately crowded with screams. The arrows targeted not only Amabel, but also the invited guests. Even the priest was a victim. Amabel did not stay silent, she immediately made a shield for the guests. He looked up, looking at Arion with a smile. "I told you, don't worry." She then pulled out her dress and spread it to the snoring limit. "I'll take them to a safe place, you can finish the rest."

Arion nodded and called out to Arthur. "Attack the rebels, be careful not to attack the real knights."

Amabel looked at her mother with a smile. "Mom should take shelter too. Brother and father will escort, don't worry."

Mary knew it was not time to be sad, so she touched her lips with two fingers and placed them on her left chest. "May salvation always be on your side." He smiled, "I will take them to safety. So you're careful."

Amabel still gave her a shield until the arrow stopped pointing towards the hall. The women were already in a safe place with the Queen and her mother. Amabel turned and received the sword from her father. "You must have something to fight against."

Elliott even had traces of blood on his clothes. His eyes were cold, something Amabel had never seen. "That shield you can't use for too long, can you? Now stop using the shield, the guests are already in a safe place."

Amabel nodded and released her strength. His right hand trembled, his strength might be great but his control was still imperfect. Amabel grasped her silver sword and fought the rebels.

The movements of his father and brother were so smooth. The difference Amabel can feel. Although he is good at playing the sword, but Amabel never face to face with the enemy. He never fought this many enemies. His breath began to puff.

"Don't force it if you're tired." His father's advice and still lay his sword on the enemy. I don't know how many they fought, but the rebels kept coming.

When Amabel falls, Ryu arrives. The man took out his magic quickly and patted Amabel on the back. "You're too rash. Calm down a little."

"The three dukes are fighting in the city with their troops." Report Ryu. "Prince Hendery and Noah assisted in the evacuation. Prince Alterio and Kenan are guarding the evacuation site. The victims are being cared for by the empresses, don't worry. It's not so bad."

Amabel sighed, for some reason she still felt anxious. "Arion's? Where's where?"

There was a pause for quite a while before Ryu replied. "He was dealing with the rebels in the palace garden."

The rebels in the hall still haven't stopped coming. Amabel looked at Ryu, "then that here please finish. I'll help Arion."

Ryu did not even have time to answer because Amabel immediately ran after him. He sighed, finished the fight in three seconds, of course he could do. After that, he won't wake up for three weeks. In the end Ryu only made the rebels faint. He can't fall at a time like this.
