The city centre is crowded as usual. The Vessbian Streets were a gathering center for merchants. They used to sell their wares along the road. I covered my hair in a light purple robe. The ribbon stood beside me, watching every merchant there was.
We went into the stationery store. "Good day, Mr. Lavite." Sapaku to the middle-aged man behind the cashier table.
The man nodded and smiled. "It's a blessing for me because the lady came all the way. Is your paper supply and ink running out?"
I nodded, starting to look at each paper. A colorful paper caught the attention. "Mr Lavite, I'd like to add this colored paper to the house."
"I'll put it later in Miss's order. I have gold and silver ink, do you want it too?" Mr. Lavite brought an example of gold and silver ink.
Beautiful colors, but I don't think I need them. "I'll choose the usual ink. If you don't mind, can the order be sent today? I need it so much."
Mr. Lavite shook her head, displaying an unpleasant face. "Miss, sorry. Today, however, we have to take care of the royal order. Miss's order may be sent tomorrow afternoon. Or if miss wants we can wrap it now and miss can take it. But the lady has to wait for some time, how?"
I nodded in response. "Then I'll look around to the other store and will be back later in the day to pick up my order."
Mr. Lavite nodded and immediately gave a note of my order to one of his workers. After that I said goodbye and took Pita to one of the bakeries. "Our mother, are you hungry?"
Pita nodded, "it's lunch time. What do you want to eat?"
"I want to eat Miss Erma's bread. You want?" I asked as I stepped into Andette's bakery. The owner of this bakery is an old couple. Mr. Fergie Andette created a very delicious bread recipe. Each bakery in the store has a crunchy outer skin and an inside that is as soft as a confectionery. Just imagining it makes my saliva drip.
"Nyeem! Go, Pita!" He said happily while pulling Pita's hand.
"Good day, Miss Erma!" Sapaku.
The orange-haired woman turned her head, "o oh, see who's coming! Good day, miss! Miss hasn't been to visit in a long time, I really miss."
Erma always welcomes her guests warmly. Fergie then appears with a tray filled with warm bread. The aroma is mixed between cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla. "Wuah! This is new bread, right? What's name?"
"Kainil. I'd be happy if miss would try." Mr. Fergie gave me a piece of bread and I immediately shared it with Pita.
The scent of cloves and cinnamon entered my oral cavity. When biting it feels crispy skin. My eyes puffed up when I felt the melted vanilla in my mouth. "God! This is awesome! So delicious!"
I'm sure my eyes are shining right now. Really, it tastes amazingly good! The ribbon beside me nodded as approval.
"I want this bread! Please pack twelve." I said with pleasure. My hand took back a piece of bread to enjoy myself. "That's lezat. I'll ask Papa to buy it again tomorrow!" I turned to Pita who nodded in agreement.
Pita and I got out of Andette with two bags of chocolate. While Pita put the bag of bread into the horse-drawn carriage, I stepped back towards the stationery shop.
"Sir, if I may know what this girl has done until you embarrass her in the middle of the road?" I asked while looking at him directly.
The man did not reply, but at least his feet no longer stepped on the young girl's hands. "This damned woman is already dirtying my clothes with her hands. I think that's enough to punish his hand."
Minds *****. Cih, fucking nobleman!
I chose to help the young girl before me and help her stand up. "Sir, no one has the right to be hurt even if that person does a bad thing. Think he's human."
"He's just a fly." That answer makes me angry. But I can't show it. I can't ruin my family name.
"Even a fly has the right to live, brother." I turned my head, looking at the foreign man with red hair who was now embracing the arrogant man. The redhead smiled, "at least we should protect your image, sis."
The cocky guy came back to grin. God, it feels like I'm throwing his face in horseshoes! Without saying anything he turned around and left us. While the redhead smiled in jail while giving a small salute.
"Well, what kind of attitude is that?" Rutukku.
"Eung, miss. Thank you." Thank you." I turned my head, the girl I just gave me a bad look. Suddenly he knelt down. "Miss please allow me to return the favor by being your servant."
"Eh? No need." I said fast but his face was suddenly gloomy. I said, "please stand up now."
His brown hair was braided and now looked messy. When you see his clothes are dirty. "What's your name?"
"I don't have a name." The reply made me feel more guilty.
"Elle."
The girl looked at me confused, but I smiled. "Elle, your name. If you don't have a name, how can you work for me?"
"Eh, so, can I work for miss?" Ask. Those black eyes shone, "i will definitely work hard!"
I nodded, smiling back at Elle. "In that case, let's first help me bring the goods from Mr. Lavite."
When we arrived, Pita came with the horse-drawn carriage. Mr. Willy, the horseman of the Lancaster family came down to help carry the things I ordered. "Oh, Pita, this is Elle. From today please help him and introduce to Mr. Josh. Tell me that Elle's gonna be a waiter at home."
Pita nodded and with that we headed home. But I am still upset! Who the hell is that cocky guy?
